Some knew it was coming. Some didn't. The end of ALL solo farming...just like all the little whiney fckin faggots with no skill whatsoever wanted.

Gratz Anet, you finally figured out how to nerf all soloing. Thanks for nerfing something I (and im sure many other skilled gamers) dearly enjoyed. It's just one of the many things that I loved that was taken from me. No biggie, happens all the time.

I didn't develop solo builds for nearly all end-game areas to get rich. If i did, then I wouldn't give away so much stuff to friends.

I HONESTLY wonder.....are the people making these decisions communists? I don't dare throw this word around, cuz I have sure as hell studied this ideology enough to know when it influences something.

Seriously, what is hoped to be gained by this? The whiney little fags will shut up? NOT LIKELY. They'll just find some other stuff to whine about. People that whine about soloing either: 1. cant do it themselves and envy those who can, or 2. did it enough for themselves, got bored, and do not want others to get the same benefit they did.

I find it appauling that you (Anet) would ruin so many players' gaming experience and not even provide a fcking sentence explaining why you chose to do so. I believe i speak on behalf of everyone that soloed when I demand this.

I know what those who don't agree with me are thinking. Hmmm...why should this guy play an online game when he just sit there and solos all day. Well you're about as wrong as you can be. The solo farming I do is not always soloing. I like to create 2, 3, or 4man builds to conquer areas that I cant solo, and I spend a lot of time finding skilled players and teaching them the builds so we can try them out. I do this because it's extremly fun. People I play with are usually extremely happy afterward and some even say they've never had so much fun in the game.

On the other hand....I'm in a killer guild that I absolutely love. I love doing DoA and other elite runs with these top notch people, and maybe this update will allow me to focus more on doing 8man stuff.

Now you're prolly thinking i'll spend more time on this because it's more profitable. Wrong again. And to prove this I would like you to imagine playing guild wars without any drops. Everyone just levels up, and gets cool new weapons at each level. How fcking lame would that be? Cmon, you wouldn't need any skill at all. Just join a group, go kill stuff and level with everyone else. Oh and by the way, you only level once a month, so forget about trying to lvl to 99 and get the Uber Sword of DEATH.

Actually Gaile and the Devs have said many times that they are not against farming of any kind..........wait a minute! Continued nerfing until it is all gone......uhhhh!

Im am amoungst those who pve solod everything for fun. Im a PvP player normally, and when I needed any money I would solo. Soloing is a fun and rewarding way to gain money. Pugging is boring and doesnt give shit.

Honestly Im quite sad. I thought hard mode might give me a reason to play PvE again. But if Anet doesnt roll this back complete with a formal apology for making by the far the stupidest decision they have ever made, I may even go as far to delete all my pve chars and go straight PvP. As of today, PvE is dead to me.

wow powerful post...very powerful. I agree with you 150%. The only thing is I don't see why you will continue to play the game. I think I have made up my mind that if they don't change it back or find a way to do something soon I will be leaving the game that I have wasted loads of time on and payed money that could go towards my college or other real things. Sorry Anet but all the other nerfs you have ever done that people complaigned about( AI change, 8v8->6v6->8v8, Soul Reaping, Minion Cap, etc) cannot even start to add up to this. You have officially blown it, and lost a player and costumer and maybe even more then just me. I loved Guild Wars but it changes to often to even have the right to hold the same name in fact it should be changed to "the game that changes just to piss you off". Sorry but thats the last of Anet...If something isn't done then I will not buy GWEN or GW2 and will tell my friends to do the same.

I might as well join them as there is no way that I will be able to come up with the next 50 ectos for my fissure set, oh or the weapons for my 3 new characters. So we get gold for beating things in hard mode now, what does that matter when the price of materials has gone up about...oh...4x as much (when I say materials, I mean the higher end ones).

*watches as ecto prices, shards, anything high end, and plat itself skyrockets*

soloing wasn't nerfed just soloing for money was nerfed. the drop rate on items will now always be as if you were in a full group, but its not all for you.

I am confused. Can someone please state exactly what has changed?

Do gold drops now scale with group size, or what?

a nerf, is when A-net takes an action that makes it so you can no longer exploit something in the game... nothing they did made it so you can't solo farm.. in fact they made easier to farm by nerfing the AI's kiteing... all they did was reduce the ammout of loot, so you can go do it more without haveing to stop at the merchant every third trip out.

if anything people that like to farm, should be thanking A-net for this, we get to do more farming then we could before.

reduceing the ammount of loot, doesn't stop you fro solo farming, so the fact that you consider it a nerf, then you must coinsider what you have been doing an exploit worthy of nerfing in the first place - i say for shame on anyone who seeks to exploit anyone else.

I think this one is going to cost them a lot of customers, for one, myself. Anet, you can keep GWEN and GW2. I really hope you really feel the impact of what you have just done to your loyal customers!

WildmouseX, that is definatly not what nerf means...all it is, is taking something that was being used, or hell it doesn't even have to be used, and changing the effects so that it does not work as well as before.

This was definatly not a nerf to something that was an exploit...even anet has said in the past they are not against solo farming.

A computer program runs all of GW are you saying A-net took no skill in making it?

A computer program can do manythings a human can do, so automatically we have no skill?

A computer program can Make you breathe (iron lung) so.... Get it!?

So just because we enjoy an aspect of the game YOU do not like we are supposed to suffer? Who are you to decide how others play the game?
