Dear ArenaNet,
Yesterday when i played Vizunah Square with some other nice guys, i realized how unfair the advantages are by using Factions or Nightfall armor. The other warrior (full set of Luxon 15k) and me (Gladiator 15k with Ascalon 15k boots) both had an around equal percentage of health, when an Afflicted exploded. I died, the other warrior didn't - and laughed at me. After that he said "health armor ftw".
I've played my warrior now over fourthousand hours and completed all three campaigns several times with her. I can't wait to start with hard mode soon!
However, one thing really kills my motivation: I'm completely convinced that the Gladiator's 15k armor with Ascalon Boots 15k is by far the best looking warrior armor in this game - especially when dyed silver and used with my Fellblade and Gloom Shield. However, that i can't buy them with health stats is just unfair. Why do i have to buy not so good looking armor in order to survive?
It got even worse: When i tried to play hardmode, i got kicked from a group with the following explanation: "sry, no way without health armor"
As i've heard that hard mode is really hard, i can actually understand that. But i just don't want to wear not-so-good-looking armor.
Please ArenaNet make Prophecies armor inscribable or give sets with different stats soon! Your artists have done such a fantastic job back then, please remove the downside!
Thanks in advance!

Please make Prophecies armor equal!

Regardless, it's your fault if you want armor with specific stats. Even Racthoh and Savio use +Health Krytan Armor...
The +health armor didn't save your character, and in any case +armor would be far more helpful than +health in most situations. There's nothing wrong with +energy either; I should think every warrior should have a set, because running energy-intensive builds is nigh impossible without it.
As to the actual question...as I have stated before, and has been stated in many, many threads...wait until GW:EN is released, and inscriptions are not a selling point, and we might get them in Prophecies.

Ok, this is just a guess and I have zero evidence to back it up except for a single past experience. That said, it's my belief that when EotN comes out, you'll see Tyrian and Canthan armor changed to accept insignia. This belief comes from two things;
1.) the fact that materials storage was originally Cantha only and was then made available to everyone when Nightfall came out
2.) EotN takes place atleast partially in Northern Tyria and contains 40 new sets of armor (4 per class). It would be kinda silly of ANet to put the new armors into the game and NOT have them accept insignia and given the location and the fact that Dwarves are atleast partially involved in the storyline means that the technology should now be available to the rest of Tyria (or atleast Droknars, a dwarven stronghold)
Remember, this is just what I think will happen, I have no actual evidence to back it up, nor do I work for, or personally know anyone working for ANet or NCSoft.

What's greatly ironic is that +10 armor from my blessed armor is significantly better then +35 health as long as I don't have an area with a lot of armor ignoring damage or degen. For those areas, I have a second +health set.
Honestly, most armor mods are pretty even atm and in PvE, none of them are going to make or break you. People who critize and discriminate against other players for their armor/skill choices just because they want cookie cutter builds and can't think outside the box are the real noobs.

Why not in Tyria? This is a must. The sooner they change them, the better. |
And i think 35 hp indeed make a difference! In my GW career i had a lot of moments i survived with only few hitpoints left.

I don't see why not if they can do it for PvP char why not PvE char a little unbalance there on their part.I have a set of survivor Knights on my PvP Warrior and the insignias are in Tyria .To the OP it is not possible now to wear mixed armour as a Warrior as possibly your boots weren't covered by the absorbtion rune. You could do what Ensign does and not use one instead use rune of vitae.
