I got a gold Magma's shield when I did Hell's Prcipice with my warrior with all henchmen, back then I didn't know anything about value so I eventually merched it. It was just some defence mod against trolls anyway

Is anyone able to post a Ele build tat has worked for them, so far I have'nt had much luck at all. I've tried a basic earth tank with ss/indious but enrgy became a issue as wel as Malestorm. I've tried a few others but I hope someone ere can help me out, thx.

I could kill some of the Titans, but not enough to make it usefull. Maybe some tweaks in the build

i been running this chest sicne the end of the first week of NF , up until the chest nerf that is , i got aroud 10 inscribable gold magmas shields from over 800 keys , it payed for at least 2 sets of fow + other cool stuff , but i been pissed off sicne the chest nerf , and also poor :P so good to see now that u can make the chest spawn by just pwning the titans, i just tried it with ss and its a bit slow, im gonna use that spoil victor build now from the pic, thanks for the screenie 
edit, done quite a few runs now, and i REALLY dont think killing the titans has ANY efect on the chest spawning, the amount of times its been spawning seems about the same as jsut running the chest -_-

Continue doing it your way then, I'm not going to be bothered to make an actual video of the chest spawning when Mob #2 spawns, after killing the first wave.

Sometimes chests spawn when you reach an area or defeat the mob tied to it. I noticed this in my fow spider runs, the cave would look empty but after killing some spiders a couple of chests would pop up

also were do i start for this? Yes as with any type of farming you can take your henchies/heroes and split drops with them if you like making them rich. The titans drop rares as your doing the chest trigger each run, why share them with henchies? Not to mention your henchies are going to make the run take longer due to their stupidity of aggroing extra enemies or making the nightfall titans follow you up the path. Take a look at the screenshot with the h/h team they all dead with the checkmark on spellbreaker  Like I said it takes 2 - 3 minutes per run solo, why be bothered with henchies or heroes. Always leave with at least 2 keys I've done the same thing multiple times don't feel bad koning.

Necro isn't the only class that can do this.
There's plenty of builds that can do this run posted all over these forums that can solo these types of titans. Or you could create your own. Soj/smite hex 55/105 monk W/mes IW 130 hp VoS derv 55hp ele elite of your choice It's not like this is hard you only have to kill a couple titans, check for a chest, and resign. Lilaznboi2011

i just did about 25 runs and no chest spawned...I was able to get a bunch last night have they changed something recently or just really bad luck?

I have been running it a while as well and find it's generally 1/3 runs that spawn a chest after killing the titans up until the rotting titan spawns. I have had all reqs of shields drop inc r9 but found normal mode to have the best so far. Runs take 2-3 mins as mentioned before so it's a great farm especially when you get that one drop 8-D

Here's a short video of run from start to finish, both chests spawned. Only the chest down the path where the titan's spawn point is located drops the magmas shields. You will see it appear in the video when the 1st group is killed.

After killing the first 2 titans and no chest spawns just resign and start over. Correct me if I'm wrong but a shiroken item chest can also spawn during this quest, during the shiroken waves.

Not a bad run. I keep getting zonked by Maelstrom once and a while. When those bastards get going, I get hit with 60+ Maelstroms! Makes it tough to cast spells.

Did this run for 3 days and I got a gold req 13 magmas from the chest and a gold req 9 magmas from one of the earth titans

Yes the titans there *can drop a rare magmas shield ( non-inscribable ), no clue on chests in hm, normal mode no.
Better chance to get a rare magmas shield off the titans in nf, unfortunately there isn't hordes of them like DNKP.

Zealot's Fire messes up aggro in NM, so I can't even imagine the aggro breaking in HM..unless I'm wrong, which I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be.And the 55 CS Farm Build is practically what you mentioned, just remove ZF, and add in Watchful Spirit

How are you guys dealing with the massive Maelstrom spells getting cast against you? I'm having every other odd run being shut down due to the water titan's spamming of this spell. -edit- Found a good way around it. I was using monk primary. So, jacking up curses to 12 lets Spoil Victor do it's magic.

Spiteful spirit and spoil victor kill the titans in the same amount of time on a necro primary if you know what you're doing.
Glyphs, wards, and the snares grasping earth, and frozen burst do not trigger SV. You can finish the run casting 2 spitefuls or 2 spoil victors and 1-2 vamp gazes. You do the math. I thought it was elementary at this point in the game to not stand in maelstorms and attempt to cast spells  The chest spawn alot sometimes, and other times not at all. Maybe an anti-chest code of some sort, maybe not. Take a break, farm, quest and come back. Thats all I can tell ya. I've had the chest spawn 5 runs in a row before, and have had it not spawn at all for periods of over 15 minutes. P H Z
I get 2 casters --> Once the torment claw pops...sometimes its 2 Earth or 2 Wind Born titans....and the second grp i did as you said keep the ranger titan alive....but no chest spawns.
