If you mean the maintained enchantments, you have to disable them and then force them to cast them on you (by targeting yourself and ordering)...

To be honest, i'm not convinced this is the best build or location to run for a Ranger gunning for Legendary Survivor. I'd recommend Kilroy's Punch-Out or the worms outside Boreal Station instead of Wajjun Bazaar. Do Kilroy's to farm the title quickly, do the worms to farm it safely.

I tried Kilroy's with two characters, but died both times on my way to 2nd survivor rank.
My connection (student dormitory) simply ain't stable enough, sooner or later a lag spike will hit me while I am KO and kill me.
However, I then reached Legendary Survivor in only two days with the safest possible way: Doing HFFF.
I just did the stuff which can also be seen in this guide, hero-henched through the Factions campaign (no problem or risks at all) until I reached the Lutgardis Conservatory... and from there on it is virtually impossible to die at all.
There's a lot of HFFF runners at any given time, who will charge 50-100g per run. A run lasts 50-60 seconds (incl. the rezone time) and nets 2000xp, 400 Kurzick faction and 150g (so you even make a tiny little cash -- 25-50k, depending on how "expensive" your runner is -- for doing nothing).
It's really fast (~9-10 hours after reaching Lutgardis), 100% safe (for people with crappy connections like me) and lets you earn some 200k+ Kurzick faction as a by-product.
And it's a bit more relaxing, though boring (unless of course you got friends you can chat with, meanwhile).
Not as fast and rewarding as Kilroy's, but still... it's the safest route among the safe routes.

You're right - if you can get to Lutgardis safely, HFFF is an extremely easy and safe way to farm the title. Be sure to pickup the Improved Hero Flags and HFFF texmod files from wiki.

So this is sort of a thread res, but I went ahead and did some further testing over the week.
Kilroy Stonekin Farming:
1 HM Run with Berserker Scrolls yields: 41.140 k exp
1 HM Run with Rampagers yields: 35.263 k exp
1 HM Run with no scrolls yields: 17.631 k exp
1 NM Run with Berserker Scrolls yields: 17.631 k exp
1 NM Run with Rampagers yields: 11.754 k exp
1 NM run with no scrolls yields: 5.8771 k exp
*I used the best scrolls possible, as Hunter and Slayer are only up part time, and you can't activate them at the beginning for maximum exp gain.
All runs have 59 enemies, this number has never changed for me.
All runs produce around 800 gold to - 3 k gold. I've never gotten below 800 g, and I've had some runs break 10 k with Elite Warrior Tomes, I've even had a 18 k run where I got two in a row.
The best possible way for you to do this run is with Berserker's Scrolls in HM, with Slices of Pumpkin Pie, and modded Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles, modded to Furious, 15/-5 energy, and +7 armor vs. Physical, a Shelter mod.
Each run varies between 7:30 mins and 9 minutes flat depending on if I die once or not, if I go through without dying, my time is usually around 8 minutes, with the occasional just complete rampage, which results in 7:30 mins.
Judging by this math, Legendary Survivor from 0 exp to 1,337,500 exp takes approximately:
5.42 hours in HM with Berserker's Scrolls. Baring no breaks, just from 0 to max. This was calculated using 10 minute run times, taking into account time to zone, sell items to merchant, buy new scrolls, get reward, rezone, and enter again. The run time is more likely 11 minutes adding all these up, which results in 5.96 hours.
12.64 hours in NM with Berserker's Scrolls. Baring no breaks, just from 0 to max. This was again calculated using 10 minute run times. In NM, this is accurate, as a standard Normal Mode run took me around 6 minutes, so that's 4 minutes to sell, buy scrolls, get reward, etc, which is more than enough.
I was just suddenly inspired as I leveled my new death machine dervish in there, if you have any questions, my IGN is Little Mickey.

Thanks Mickey. Mind if i drop your Kilroy info into the guide? While i'm at it i might as well update and carve back the Jade Bro bit as people still seem to use it.

@Mickley: Great info, but there's just one thing. What level were at when you did NM runs? I would imagine 20 right?

Ah yes, I was 20 when I did the runs. That might be a small problem.
However, in NM, if your not level 20, you should be gaining exp around 300, so if you calculate that for 140,600 exp, that should make the difference. It's not bad, I got to level 20 from level 10 in around 30 minutes.
At Antithesis: Go ahead and put the info in the guide, it's Survivor farming after all!

I was read some other guide here about getting "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" and in that guide, they recommended Survivor characters to HFF in order to get Legendary Survivor. How is that method compared to farming EXP at "Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-Out Extravaganza"?

If you can reach Lutgardis Conservatory with no deaths, it's the place to be. There's no risk of dying while HFFF, unless you majorly screw the pooch and a hero runs back to you with foes in hot pursuit.
Kilroy's is faster and more profitable, but there's always a risk of dying due to lag. You can start Kilroy's at level 10, it's easy to get to and can be done in a day, even in NM.

I chose Kilroy's and that took me about 7-8 Hours to do, but a little bit of that time was just hanging out

Whats the best chain of attacks for HM kilroys? i seem to struggle killing them fast enough, then kilroy dies and i'm left getting beaten on by dwarves, the last time i tried it i ended up with 90 energy by the end.
Covah
In HM the dwarves will go after the person with the lower HP. Make sure you always aggro first so you hold all the enemies. Don't take more then 3 on at a time. In the big room with all the dwarves, stand up on the ramp just in aggro range of the center of the circle. Aggro them just before kilroy comes into the room and aggros. They will attack you and as long as you can use your 3 hard hitting adren skills to kill one you won't die before kilroy starts fighting. As long as they don't attack him you should be able to clear the whole thing in just under 8 min(inculding the two bosses). The three hit kill combo is skill 7 6 5.

I used a Similar build but ive gone somewhere else.
Gates of Tyria Hardmode Oink Farm, when the mission starts ignore the mobs that comes running for the farmers and go around oinks house and set up bonds, spirits and what not. Then kill the lone Hellhound or the 4 Ghouls that spawn once you step on the swamp, this trigers a avalanche of undead mobs, using Smithing skills they take 2x the damage and since they are all undead you can use EoE to speed things up a LOT, i used SoJ as a elite w/ my warrior and a QZ/EoE/Symbiosys Gween(only cuz it was lvl 20) to keep it up 100% of the time.
Once you kil the mobs that Spawn go through the valley and kill one more group of 1 warlock abt 3 hellhounds and 1 archer, the next group will most of the time be bugged and wont attack, if you took your time to kill the first undeads chasing the farmers this group will come running when you spawn the horde of undead and make this somewhat harder since theres are mesmer to degen you even further, if you do kill the first undeads there is a spot int the ramp that blocks wand attack and arrow from the archers to help you relieve preasure.
I was Using a chicken build on my warrior and i was taking only 3-10 damage from their attacks and using only regen to recover(SoJs kd makes it possible to survive the onslought) so i was way slower then the maximum potential due to Holy Whrath and Retribution dealing pittyful damage. w/ my slow build i was avaraging 3-4 minutes and w/ the cheapest 5 minutes scroll (that fits the timing perfectly) i was getting abt 12k per run so 180-240k per hour. i can only imagine what you could do if you did this w/ minimum armor.
The advantages i see for this over marketplace are:
-almost no walking so you have to be rly stupid to run out of Symbiosis w/ 1 hp
-there are 2-3 chest spawns on the valley, if you are going for treasure hunter its a nice spot to begging, somethimes when u spwn the onslought of undeads a chest also spawns for your pleasure, ive got elite tomes, q9 dead bows 15^50 , q10 selhpis axe 15^50 from those chests. Ild say 70-80% of the runs ull have a chest to open.
-no healer mobs, the only mobs that heal Thenselves are the undead warlocks by saccing minions and the ghouls tha eat corpes and use Thril of victory but once a ghoul dies the EoE chain kills almost all of then
-no interrupts
-no kds
Cons:
-if you do walk out of synbiosis w/ 1 hp and you are degening you will die but even heal breeze at 0 healing prayers will give you positive regen while bleeding/poisoned.
-No bosses, so no free xp scrolls.
-Short runs , so more scrolls per run , if ur using lightbringer it gan get pretty costly, but probably faster.
-I dont have buids that work for all classes =)
i used
Ogden OwUTMmHD5xhEP+Hhkrv8IulSAA +1 +3 Protection (never use this w/ low armor)
Dunkoro OwAC0sLhIxX+oJAAAAAA +1 +1 Heal prayers rest smite
Gwen OQJTAGLj5A5bH6UHAAAAAAA
me OQMC0szDIxgQ9vHPEAi+YwC
none of the builds are optimal , its just something i changed from a survivor farming build a guildie gave me and skills i had on my war at the time there are lots of room for improvement
Would be nice if the guy who made this guide checked it for viability w/ his builds or variants =) You did a very good job on your guide.
