Extreme lag today

i live in asutralia and im havin extreme lag today. i noe its not my net nor computer. anyone else havin lag today?

yup im from aus too but i think everyone is getting it trying to play gvgs as monk with pings jumping from 300 to 40,000 is annoying especially with the 20 second freezes

Im from the uk and iv recently been experiencing extreme lag too

I'm from Portugal and i've been expiriencing hardcore ping floats too. Getting quite annoying.

im in the u.s. and ive been laging that way for a month fps 1 to 60 pings 250 to 20k just about quit playing sucs too got plenty of good characters and finnally broke 400k in gold

I'm from the US, and it's been laggin pretty bad today. I've gotten up to 6k+.

I've had REALLY bad lag spikes for the past 2 weeks or so, I tried everything in the "stickied" thread above that talks about lag and it didn't help.

I'm not from the U.S. and I usually spike to about 10k ping in any outpost of any type...

I read a Gaile post in another forum that says Arena.net has detected no lag problem and thus, they have no plans of fixing any of this, I myself have never had trouble playing guild wars until now, and I haven't been able to enjoy it recently that I've had some time off.

Likely, someone who is good at this kind of stuff needs to do a fix because the people in charge are probably not going to do jack...

Anyone have any luck with their lag issues?... I'd love to hear a solution

Lag started for me when dragon festival ended and its still going worse than ever, if this dont stop soon i believe anet will be losing many customers, this is in palmerston north, NZ.

I don't think "extreme lag" is the right word! I can move 2 steps then have to wait 3 mins to move again

Its been going on for over a week now for me.

Same here, This has been going on now for 3 weeks! The first few weeks i had unplayable lag until the last few days which it seemed to clear But it's back with a vengeance. Getting a bit tired of it now tbh

Gonna go cancel my pre-order of GWEN until they resolve this issue once and for all

Friday was great after NCsoft did the Frankfurt maintenance with sub-200ms pings all evening. Today (Saturday), getting pings ranging from 32ms to over 12k

Problem is definitely not resolved for me. Live in UK, on Euro servers, 20MB cable broadband, no issues with any other on-line games or Internet.

Please try to get this resolved with the supplier Anet - it's been going on for close to 3 weeks now and I want to play GW!

Was really bad for me during the Dragon thing. After that my lag totally died off, I logged on today, and I'm getting 2k+ ping constantly.

i get to the loading screen, but thats about it, awesome.

Same here, my main is stuck in Temple of Ages atm. Stuck at loading screen :/ ...

Based in London, England. My ping is jumping every 15 seconds or so from 812ms to 7012ms and has been for most of the last few weeks. Worst cases have seen it shooting up to over 40000ms.
Getting seriously narked by this.

I hope Anet thinks twice before another lame weekend event.
