You're doing nothing wrong. You won't recieve a lot of whites/blues/purps due to the new lootscaling, but when a gold drops it's always yours.

Golds:
- 1 crappy gold dragoncrest axe
- 1 crappy accursed staff
- 1 crappy death staff
White items, fangs... and one necro tome
Hell.. even the nerfed "normal" trolls at tallus chute drop better... Maybe I have to be closer to them or something? Either that or I'm the most unlucky guy EVER.
Even with the promise of a potential zodiac drop, doing 30 runs to get virtually NOTIHING is just not worth it.

Yeah, I just did like 12 runs and I was getting nothin but whites. Didn't even get 1 purple. There are 2 districts in international, meaning its being over farmed...otherwise leadin to a nerf. no use farming here now!

hey pretty slick, thanks a lot to the OP for sharing this. It's one of those low probability / high reward things. If you don't have patience, move on to something more high probablility / low reward.
It's very tempting to rail off like 50 of these in a row but I'm concerned with digging myself into anothery ant-farm abyss that'll neuter my 55 / 105 monk farming

i am Me/R and i could just as well use Me/Rt the class doesnt matter, the choice of spirits doesnt matter. the build is purely based on how fast the killing can be acomplished.

i guess it works for all classes with /r or /rt ...
just get some spirits and a run skill then it will work

The exp is great, I got my hyena from 15 to 20 in about 6-7 runs!
And the drops are different from time to time, sometimes I get 1 vampiric fang, the next time I get a zodiac shield(q9tac. 10vsblunt, -2/ench!) and a purple zodiac sword, but the golds are overal really nice!

This farm can be done with any profession, aslong as you got Ritualist or Ranger as one of them. Main profession or second. Just get 5 or 6 spirits and lay spirits around you creating a wall block, and you should be alright. Really dont need running skills. Just pull the spawns to the spirits and stand between them.
It is a good idea to switch characters for farming here once you notice you aint gettin crap. But I believe they nerfed it recently... not sure but goin to give it a run with a different profession.

Yeah it definately helps to switch characters, took my ritualist there for first time. And ended up gettin acouple golds in around 5 runs.

Well... Ive tried this build out..
I cant say it SUCKS, because it does take 30-40 secs and there is a CHANCE for good drops..
But I did like 30 runs and the best drop was a lockpick -_-''
it does give some exp but who cares... I wonder if theres a chance of killing the dredges

As it was said, changing characters helps a lot. So just alternate between them if you see that you don't get golds.

Urgoz Run : Did 30 Runs in about 20 min, loot:
Hydra Run: Did 1 run in about 10 min, loot:
Results: Hydra run is much more whorthwhile, you can get much more golds, not including that there are at leats two Locked Chests in a run.
On the other hand, Urgoz can give you gold that are worth much more, but It drops rarely and not worth the time.

Well I really like this farm: It is easy, very fast and very nice items can drop. Got a lot of golds (Zodiac Shield Q9, Gavel Q10 15>50, Zodiac Longbow Q10 15>50), I can't complain!

Well, i dont know what you all have been smoking, but today I ran this run for the very first time, solo with my Ranger.... only been at it about an hour, and have 15 vampire fangs, Zodiac Axe unid, Zodiac Sword unid, and a Necro tome, in less than 1 hour.....

Yeah, it's officially nerfed according to the recent guildwars updated list. Seems they saying that it was a mistake?? ya right, they just wanted to NERF it altogether. Take out all the fun in the game why don't ya's?
