Non Skill Slot Rez PLZZ!!

I can see everyone complaining that the slot 9 skill is ONLY a res 3 months after this is implimented.

woah. Time to bring 8 core rez skills and the addtional free rez. I have 9 rez skills, my team will never die.

I have no idea why there's only 8 skills. There's 12 keys between Tilde and Backspace. Some skills that really should be made universal are: Res sig (not a hard res, but only res sig, though possibly Sunspear Rebirth signet since it's the same thing anyway), sprint (not necessarily the skill as it exists now, but some kind of speed boost or another), and maybe even a defense stance of some sort with a limitation liked Feign Neutrality in that it ends if the player does anything other than run the heck away. Finally maybe some kind of "boost" skill, similar to Elementalist's Glyph of power, but call it adrenaline boost or something. They'd all be 1 minute recharge skills, possibly even a shared cooldown, and these skills represent everyone's capacity to do put in a little extra when they need to, be it offense, defense, or just running.

I've always thought it funny that everyone runs the same speed all of the time unless they take a skill and/or get a buff from an ally.

Maybe for charm animal, but not a res... Even charm animal.. is over kill for pendant slot... no 8 skills structure is fine, I think we all proved that in the 3 years of testing and usage that we have under our belt now. Adding back the pendant slot would just server to over power some builds again... It keeps things nice and balanced with the 8 skills 1 elite structure we have now...

What next, a skill slot for a speed buff? One for an interrupt? One for a snare? The whole basis of the skill system is that you can only bring 8 skills and you have to make a choice about what you bring. Those 8 skills then determine what you can do. Besides, you know that if they ever did this, it'd just mean a week later people would be on here demanding that there should be no skill slot limit and we should be able to use any skill we already know. And that would change the game totally.
