"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

Requirement Begins With R [notQ]

Me/

Objectively or subjectively?

Favourite: Energy Drain (Unsure why, its energy denial and energy gain at the same time. Handy tool)

Most powerful/useful: Shadow Prison. (it's overpowered)

Okay, seriously now...

Back in Prophecies, it was Eviscerate. ZB was my favorite before the slight nerf.
Searing Flames is really good too.

Eviscerate has always been sorta...good. Even after repeated skill nerfs.

Had good Adrenaline Cost, Great +Dmg, and Unconditional DW. Since they've been alittle greedier with their DW skills - Either linking it to otherwise garbage skills, or giving it some conditional timing.

Id really have to say SS would be the best. The reason being is that there is almost no situation (none that i can think of) where it isnt usefull. It works on casters, melee and can do tremendous amounts of damage when enemies are grouped up. It does straight dmg, so its not like elemental damage where it can vary from foe to foe, it always does the dmg depending on your curses rank (excluding prot spells of course). Also with it only costing 10 energy and a 10 sec recharge its pretty spammable.

whee for stupid damage? Only thing I don't agree with is [skill]Avatar of Dwayna[/skill]. I think [skill]Avatar of Melandru[/skill] is so much better then Dwayna. [skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill] is good for PvE also.

and for the 100 extra health, good monks have prot spirit anyways. ;P

and yes, reapers sweep is kinda sexy, same with wounding strike, but i just like teh dwayna. ^_^

Hmm. PVE ^^

Warrior

[skill]Dragon Slash[/skill] maybe. [skill]Triple Chop[/skill] is decent too

Monk:

[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill] and [skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill] are the only staple skills on 90% of HM monk build I use.

Elite would be [skill]Shield of Deflection[/skill] - though [skill]Healer's Boon[/skill] seems to rock both elite missions

Paragon

TNTF is the best Para Skill.... but I love [skill]Defensive Anthem[/skill] in PVE

Ranger

[skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill] + [skill]Epidemic[/skill] - Especially in Hard Mode. Especially combined with other rangers running [skill]Barrage[/skill] - BHA is amazing in Hard Mode. Ele Bosses don't do much more damage when they can't cast a thing.

Elementalist

[skill]Searing Flames[/skill]

Necromancer

[skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill] / [skill]Blood Is Power[/skill]

Ritualist

[skill]Ritual Lord[/skill] maybe. Their stronger PVE skill would probably be [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill], and [skill]Shelter[/skill] is nice too

Dervish: Don't really know

Sin: I don't touch sins in PVE

Mesmers: I'll stick to using them for PVP
