Elite Tome Farm?

You want Sin tomes? Go outside Ran Musu Garden (like so often said) with your E/A.
That farm takes around 20 seconds.
U will see that u enter Ran Musu Garden whilest shadow form and sliver armor is still activated after killing the boss.

I would like to get any elite tome to drop from any of the bosses. Just one, please! However, after reading this forum, it seems that they don’t drop often enough to make it worth it for even more experienced farmers.

So far, I have farmed and farmed elite tomes, but have gotten nothing. Maybe I am farming incorrectly. My friend and I are going out to farm with our usual skills and our heroes and we eventually can kill whichever boss, but our drops are very poor.

So my question is this: Do you have to farm solo to get the good stuff? Because that’s just too boring for me. I want to farm with a friend.

If it doesn’t have to be solo then does it have to be a minimum sized group? We just die unless we bring out our whole team of heroes.

Also, do we have to go out and purchase a bunch of new skills for this task? That’s 8k right there – almost the same as buying the tome.

Is there any way that there is any hope of getting an elite tome from any boss using a full team? I just want one so that I can trade it for a mesmer tome that I need so I that can move on with my character and then I’m done with farming. I am not out to make the ultimate farming character. I don’t have the money to buy a tome either because, although I have played for more than a year, I just don’t farm normally.

2. Farming solo = better drops = more tomes

Just a quick reminder, don't know if you remember this monk boss, but Keshel the Voracious right outside of Blacktide Den is a very easy farm, 330 VwK kills him quite easily

Scar Eater also drops elite monk tomes pretty regularly...E/A or A/E outside Vasburg Armory.
