[HM] Fahranur the first city mo 55 farm

You can also trade in the skeleton bones you get from the undead with the trader called danton in jokanur diggings for a bag, iden kit or salvage kit which you can sell to make a little bit extra from your drops.
just thought you would like to know.
also does anyone know if their are anymore bosses in the area apart from lord onrah and haioss?

I use 105HP and a staff. If you're not using 105HP and a staff nowadays you're behind the times. The 20% HSR is totally worth it. My personal best so far is 4 SoJ's in a row. I use a NF smite staff with 20% longer enchants (it does holy dmg too which is awesome).
Skales take a little longer without Reversal/Holy Strike/Etc, but you can kill the plants with this build since Fleeting Stability will negate their knockdowns. SoJ is more than enough to kill the Undead-Anything else is just overkill. Plants and bugs die plenty fast with just SoJ as well.
Using this build may add a few minutes to the scale groups but it enables you to kill that massive group of plants in the southwest corner (which includes an ele boss).
The key to killing scales and other large melee groups is to constantly wand stuff. I've found that sticking to the same target until he's dead is the fastest. If a mob runs off and you wand him back switching targets will just make another mob run off. It seems like a constant battle that you'll never win. You're better off sticking with the same target until he's dead then choose another target. Pick the ones that have the lowest HP so you can move on to the next target quicker.
Frigid Skales are annoying-I just constantly wand them. Also you can use the longbow pulling trick and they'll wand you instead of spamming ice spikes (same method as the Ice Imps in the IDS run) but sometimes even that doesn't work for whatever reason. They will trigger SoJ though so keep it up and wand them down-they'll die eventually.
Don't forget to grab the hunts too for the free SS points.

Anybody start to notice the qaulity of the run loot start to drop? I do about 3 runs and I am barely getting any purple items. I hope this is just not me getting this or are people starting to overfarm here?
kenichiukiya

I stopped farming here weeks ago. I did about 20 runs and didn't get a single gold item anymore.
Shame, but there is so much else to farm.

Not sure about you mate, but I laid off the run for about 8 hours and I come back - Ancient/Copper shields and a lockpick, including about 3 purples. Made about 2.6k from that run

ty they are in the southwest corner past the Skree/Griffins
Yeah I think I am going to lay off this run and do other farm spots. This is still a great farm spot if you havent gotten far into Nightfall.

I do this place with my necro (since I can then kill the harpy boss) and it's pretty nice. Much easier than Gates of Kryta and roughly the same as Nebo Terrace

I'm not a very good or practiced farmer, in fact I only ever farm once in a while if I am desperate for cash. Saw this farm a while back and tried it.
It was easy enough (good for me) but I didn't get much in the way of drops so gave up after 5 or 6 runs.
Anyway, after not playing for nearly 2 weeks I decided to give it another try last night. First run I got 5 golds, 6 purples, 4 blues and a tome.
Overall after 3 runs i ended up with lots of golds including 4 dead swords, a total of 6 mixed tome's (none elite) and numerous purples and blues, oh and 1 lockpick. Everything was unfortunately merch fodder (best dead sword was req 11) but in the end I made a little over 14k plus the lock pick and tomes. Also salvaged a +30 Scythe mod, +30 Shield mod, 15^50 inscription and a 20% Ench sword mod.
I think I probably only do half the max run as well. Just kill everything on the way to the city direct route then go through the city. I dont go off the main route for the other bosses etc.
Overall I was very very happy. So I think I will leave it a couple of weeks before going back again

I use the SoA/SH build on this run now, I was using the basic "mystic 55" build. (baltz spirit, b. aura, prot sp, essence bond, mystic regen, Soj, HB, Zealots). I like the SoA/SH build more because of the added energy regen and ability to negate dmg totally. I farm the massive skale mob with no worries. (takes a little while cuz they scatter) oh and the SoA/SH build: b.spirit, b. aura, prot spirit, mystic r.,SoA, SH, SoJ, zealots. 16 smite, 11 prot, 8 divine, rest earth...i think. I've farmed about 5-6 req 9 dead swords, one being perfect. multiple tomes, multiple grapes/blues. My best run so far has been 3 golds, 2 grapes, elite war tome, and about 5k in merch food. A little secret if you guys didn't know: ID your merch food before you sell it. Your 38 armor half-digested boots magically is worth 96g instead of 40g!

has anyone figured out how to kill the harpy healers yet? They seem to be the only thing standing between me and a complete vanquish of the whole area.
Jebus
I really suggest killing those skale! One Skale out of that big group right outside the city dropped me an inscribable Req. 9 Fiery Blade Axe! Yay! /cheer.
Also got a crap req. 12 Salient Sword out of that Skale that uses Icy Shackles.

You can use the crusher on one of them, dont know about the rest, haven't checked outside of the normal farm run.
Elite Bushido

Its 2 half way for this farm, without boss.. I think im lucky
silent but true
The best I have got here is 9 golds, in 1 run using Elite Bushido's build except I add shielding hands not zealots fire or smite skill because I like a backup skill for knockdowns or soa down time.
Jebus
Hell yes you're lucky. I usually get no golds in a run, sometimes I have lucky runs though. Then I get 1 or 2 golds...

no gold?! i think you problem is farming code or etc.

I,ve found that if u start from jokunar diggings, not blacktide den then you get the option, to kill non undead more (bugs and plants), but have to fight frigid scale to enter the undead area.
Also recently I have been replacing SH with zealots fire for more dmg, and if I fight the big skale (got 1 black 1st time group, I can kill em faster if I get behind the stone blocks, so they get trapped a bit (zealots time lol).
Plus I have started using crushers to kill griffin healers (for geoss windcutter) and running a bit for SOA to regen (from +45% enchantments and 7 sec SOA).
I do use 105 monk and keep swapping armours for plants to increase skill use time if knocked down/interupted.

Wellsy
My drops have been pretty pants from here the last few days
Mindtrust
i used to farm here a month ago or so, but now it's way overfarmed, and it seems like that affects the drop rate (although A-net claims it doesn't)
I used to get 1-3 dead swords and 1-2 sephis axes per run in average, sometimes more sometimes less.
i think my all time high was 10 golds in 1 run, but when it became public it's more like 1-2 golds per run, so i moved on to a new place
