I found this link on another forum: http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/PCvkerk1e6zec/

It speaks of early acces and bonus items plus you get to keep all the progress.
new items:
*Glacial Blade forged by the Norn of the Shiverpeaks
*Hourglass Staff crafted by the greatest of the Asuran artificers
*Darksteel Longbow that was once wielded by the most powerful of the Charr Stalkers

Well, for the record, I hope this is true and like the idea of a "early start" again.

Considering no one can find the other thread, this wasn't useless.

Thanks for posting. There will always be people who didn't already know this, no matter how old the information may be.

Hey, there,

Here's some good news! The information that was asked about a few days ago concerning the GW:EN Prerelease Bonus Pack is fairly accurate. The plans are not finalized, and there could be a few tweaks to the details. Of course, there is additional info about what's coming beyond what was mentioned; that's not a complete list by any means. But you can count on that Sneak Peek event, and there will be a few unique items connected with the prerelease bonus pack.

We'll have more information about all this pretty soon. And yes, if you're coming to PAX in Seattle or GC in Leipzig, you can see that this will be a very special weekend with an exceptional Guild Wars-related event!

Thanks for confirming Gaile!

I wish I could be at PAX... NCSoft needs to do some special stuff for Texas. (I know you have nothing to do with NCSoft, I'm just saying... Austin. You know.)

So, it is confirmed that we can keep items from the Sneak Peek event? That is great news!

I wrote that before I saw your post, scrinner!), and definitely one in Florida so I can visit Mickey Mouse & friends while I'm there. )

Canadas a big place... We need at least a few for the East and West, no matter what those demographics tell you, I know at least ONE other person in the city I live who plays GW. heh.

Sweet, I missed the Factions "sneak peak" event, so it'll be cool to check out this one. Won't miss it this time!

Gaile, is it possible to get the pre-order pack from the Guild Wars store?

Speaking of not-yet-mentioned projects... what is this "dragonesque" upcoming event of which you spoke in a different forum, if I may ask?

Gaile, is it possible to get the pre-order pack from the Guild Wars store? Positively. They won't be shipping out the hard product, I mean the package itself, but they will be sending out the access keys that entitle you to all the game-related goodies.

awesome! that makes it a lot easier.

probably a stupid question, but are these not-yet-mentioned projects Guild Wars related?

Im just hoping we get to take a look at the new skills and can try them out a month before gwen actually releases. As a PvP'r i'm pretty interested to see if gwen is going to have anything that will help the meta or not.

That would be nice. Just like factions/nightfall event.

That would be nice. Just like factions/nightfall event. I'd bet that we'll get to see a handful of skills, yes. This event is probably as much for us as it is for the skill balancers.

Heh, Gaile is on a roll today. I think it goes without saying that we as a community appreciate the quick responses to our questions. I'm really just looking forward to new content with GW:EN. As more information appears on the horizon, I hope you'll be there to share it with us...

So the only preview (that we have been told about) for GW:EN is an event we have to pay for ?

i'm pretty sure that the past sneak-peak weekends weren't part of the preorder..only the 24 hour advance was part of it.

Besides, if we get to keep all our drops, it's more of a "headstart" than a "sneak peak."

It's the first of its kind, this one.

However, between you and me, and I'm sure no one else is reading this whatsoever, you'll have that information very, very soon.

And whats the word on it being available in New Zealand ?

Are Australians going to miss out again? We always end up going to stores to get a preorder/prerelease pack and the staff have no idea what we are talking about (and this is from your exclusive Australian retailer).
