Can anet please release the following mod

Of all the start screens and character select screens, factions was my favorite. Could anet please release something to revert the current char selection screens back to one of the old forms if the individual player chooses to?

I do believe it has been stated as being impossible. It probably has to do with the Log-in screen not being part of the other servers (notice how you can still log in during an error 013).

I didn't even know that factions had a login screen. I always thought it was just a battle isles one and then nightfall. What did factions look like?

Actually its because the other screens only support a limited number of character slots.

I thought buying extra char slots started during factions.

And this is "impossible" to change... Why?

I can see the problem, but it shouldn't be something that's impossible to do. They've made 3 (almost 4, now) selection screens. All they need do is "tweak" the previous 2.

You can't just "tweak" the original log-in screen. It had your 4 characters standing visible, and they would walk up when you selected them. I can't think of an easy way of changing that to work with 25+ characters.

You'd have to take the current icon system and put it in the old start up screen, with the center of the screen being the pedestal if such a thing is doable.

I should hope so. I'm getting sick of the horrible Nightfall startup music.

I would like having the choice of the login screens with the music. After a while having the same one gets boring.

Id like to have the ability to change the login screen and music. The Campfire (Prophecies login screen) is still my favorite.

agreed...i think that was the 'turning point' of gw was when they removed the campfire for that crappy scene that noone ever looks at o.o the music was even better

Nonsense. You could buy extra character slots a couple months after Factions was released. It was around July or so of last year. Long before Nightfall.
