The reason Gwen is so popular (or not), is the mystery that surrounds her. If not for the broken pre-searing quest, no one would even care.

I maintain there is no way Anet can satisfy the mythic questions about Gwen... it's been building for too long.

But, maybe I'll be surprised...

We care because we don't know. She seemed like she would be part of the story line from the very beginning and then disappears after the searing. I think the people who care are the people that play the game more for the story then the Killing anyways. Just a thought

Damn Icy, you really are a hippocrit. You started the name calling the get butt hurt when people call you on it, or return the favor. Really get over yourself. For starters, whoever you are, I acknowledged your posts once during this entire thread. This last one has nothing to do with you whatsoever. If you took what I wrote personally thats your problem. I didn't take a single thing in this entire thread to heart. I honestly could care less what some anonymous people on the internet think of me. I do however feel there should be a level of decorum in this forum and linking the crap from the first page was not it.

As for the OP post, I dont belive Gwen will show up in NF, unless of course the Kick off event is in NF then maybe. Something like the earthquake occures and in the state of distress gwen appears from her captors and finds US the heros and takes us to the rift from which she escaped and off goes the story.

I have a feeling though if that is the case, she would appear in Tyria or the shiverpeaks first not in Elonia.

I also hope she is not just another Mesmer hero. I hope she is a Mesmer Hero with and intrigal part in the story alot like Koss.

Because it seemed (at least to some of the players..myself included) that the Gwen items were supposed to be part of a quest that was never fully completed or added into the game if it was completed; that is why some of us are interested in what happened to Gwen. These items left behind made us speculate that Gwen had an important purpose to the game. From there, it took on a life of its own.
Whether you like Gwen or not, at least something is being said about what happened to her.
