Brohns Holy Rod in Sorrows Furnace, Probably about 1-2 weeks after SF was introduced. Up to that point in the game, I was still quite poor and was having trouble making money. That day I woke up early for school, and decided "Heck, why not a fast farming run?". Lone Behold, that sexy fellow Brohn was waiting at the gates of SF (Not sure which quest we were doing). When it dropped for me, I nearly fell off my chair. Back then, the wand was worth 100k+. After that, my luck changed for the better and I learnt how to farm, later producing two sets of 15k arm for my main characters, and countless gold weapons.
Will never forget that moment, the moment that changed my GW.

I cherish it.

Items I do rember are: 14^50 crystalline, first gold chaos axe, first sup vigor after more than a year playing.
One other drop, for a whole different reason: Shield req 9 tactics with 20% +1 healing prayers. If only it had been 16 instead of 15 armor....

Suddenly, an axe dropped. White, just a green line in party window.
I looked better, see a name I hardly ever see: 'Tribal Axe'.
I pick it up, notice it's req 9 and max damage.
It's one of the few times I mentioned a drop in guild chat (a guildie is now the owner of the axe, I gave it away after i took a screenshot).

My most memorable.... While unfortunately not a extraordinary gold, was my first run in Sorrows Furnace... I got 3 green drops; Gordac's Needle, Tanzit's Defender, and another.

Most memorable for me was in the 1st week of the Proph game coming out i got a gold crystalline req 9 from a chest (before keys) dmg mod was like +14% vs hexxed, what makes it even more memorable was i didnt know it was uber rare and i sold it to the merch ;p

My FIRST memorable drop was the third time I attempt to finish THK mission (Prophecies 4th last mission), about a year and half ago, when I got a PERFECT Mursaat Hammer, !5>50, +30, and I had to buy a Sundering mod for it. It was back in the day, when everyone was poor, and anything could get you going. I actually sold that Hammer HERE in the auctions for 700k (95 ectos is what I got). That was the time I got to get some 15k armour for myself, and some decent weapons and everything...it was so AWESOME!!!

Well, the time I got 3 greens and 1 gold scroll in a single Tombs run was great.
The Kole's Gauntlet and Scroll of Slayer's Insight dropped from the first Darkness, and that shot shows the drops from the second.
The other was when I finally for a Kanaxai weapon to drop for me in the Deep. I still have that Kanaxai's Axe on my paragon.

My most memorable drop was Drago's Flatbow, It was my first time in sorrows furnace and it happened before I even knew greens existed, I looked it up on the forums and discovered that it was the most desired bow in all of GW, and at the time it was worth a small fortune. Recently, I had an Elemental Sword (Req11) drop and I will never get over the initial excitement of seeing that.

Hm, I was pretty surprised to get a Ruby drop when venturing away from Ascalon city in post searing. It was my first character which I played for only a week. I never found one again.
The green item drops have been very disappointing, I played GW for like 2000+ hours and only got 3 or 4 green drops. Basicly I have to buy all my good items from other players.

As sad as it is, my very first gold drop is my most memorable one...yet I don't even know what it was other than a gold axe. I was questing with a PUG in Maguuma Jungle and I saw a gold drop for me. I was soooo excited that I picked it up and noticed the group was way ahead and in a frantic haze to catch back up with the group and ID the drop, I accidentally salvaged the drop instead of ID'ing it.
I'm sure the stats were probably pretty lame on it; however, I will never forget my first gold drop. I was so mad at myself, but meh...most of us probably got a bonehead story like that.

First omg drop was sup absorb, then I found out that the price had seriously dropped to 1k or so. Since then, I've gotten a few sup vigs, still holding them for now. Also, on first doa run, got a grim ghostly staff and a gem that was worth 50k or so.

req11 15^50 mursaat hammer way back. i had entered abbadon's mouth solo with my ranger and started trapping making use of that chimera of intensity. i believe it was the second jade armour to die which dropped the hammer. sold for 100k+10e but i was stoked.
