Each profession should have their own kind of mount. Mesmers could have ridiculously extravagent elephants, for example. Ritualists, perhaps a spirit horse stead or something. Elementalists could summon a cloud for floating on

Warriors could get boring old armored horses, I suppose. Rangers definitely should get bears. Monks wouldn't even need a mount, just get some sort of levitation aura thing going on. A skeleton-something for Necromancers, obviously. Dervishes get camels, Paragons get WINGS (!!!), and Sins can get... pandas for comedic effect.

Some of your ideas ain't too shabby. I like your extravagent elephant idea for mesmer a lot.

I may be alone on this, but I would like for aNet to create a variety of mountable animals that make sense within the GW world. Also, I would like for them to be reasonable mounts as opposed to monsters (hard to imagine certain aggressive creatures allowing us to mount them!).

Some animals that we have seen before and some new ones.

To those who say "if you want a mount play WoW;" what's wrong with GW2 being an ultimate MMO that contains all the greatest elements? Just because WoW did something doesn't mean GW2 can't have something even remotely similar. Besides, GW2 can expand on the mount concept by allowing certain skills to be used in specific various ways while on mounts.

Wow, I'm surprised no one's suggested Devourers as mounts. It'd be as close to having your own Joe as possible besides the minipet.
