why is it that some people can do nothing but complain when things don't go their way. How about you just keep quiet and let those of us who want this type of weekend enjoy it. Not all weekends will cater to your playstyle. Last weekend was a PvP weekend...I didn't complain...because it's a bonus. They don't have to do it but they do.

Honestly guy, if there's a chance someone over there was thinking, "Hmm, I bet the kids will like this one!" it's worth it to let them know that it's pretty dang limited in scope... but it's more likely this is filler for GWEN prep crunchtimes, and redoing something wasn't an option, policy-wise.

It's the same thing every week - they announce the weekend event, and someone whines about it. And the only reason they do is because it doesn't directly benfit them. (PvE players complain about PvP events, PvP players complain about PvE events, etc.)
For those of you who keep complaining about it, grow up! There are millions of others who bought and paid for GW, you're personal in-game goals will not match the majority of those other players, and your personal desires do not take precidence over anyone else's.

Now back on topic. This event is great. It even makes it worthwile making a new character in Cantha, because some of the elites are an easy task to capture, it means level 20 faster.

Anyway, yet another weekend that I am thrilled about having to work through. And no, I'm not being sarcastic.
I like the guy's idea about half skill cost, or perhaps even just half cost cap sigs. Or hell, just double/triple tome drop weekend.

You won't find me complaining about a weekend ever...they are all just icing on the cake.

Nice! Going for Elite skill hunter anyway, this weekend, might just as well get some extra XP while I'm at it. Not that I'd actually need the XP , but I won't complain about something that I get for free.

This was good timing for me. I need about 70 more skills for LSH, and may have run out of skill points before I hit that. Now that I'll be getting another skill point + 5k XP for 2 capture instead of 3 caps for a point, I won't run out!

Yeah really, when I saw this weekend event I just sighed... even though I am capping elites every day at the moment for the titles. It's tragicomic really, especially when you consider they took a dev poll about what people wanted in these weekends anyway.
If they want to make us interested in experience, why not add some levels above 20th - even if they have no attribute increases. At least we could see whether that untitled sin wanting in our hard mode gyala hatchery mission was a newbie or an old hand at her/his profession.
As for this crap about 'complaining'... what does that even mean? This is a forum - as such opinions are expressed for or against any given topic.

A flame may have elements of a normal message, but is distinguished by its intent. A flame is typically not intended to be constructive, to further clarify a discussion, or to persuade other people. The flamer is simply a closed-minded or biased individual whose conviction that his is the only valid opinion leads him to personally attack any "dissenters."

I look at it like this... most of us are pretty bored with the PVE side of GW right now. (I'm burned out from title chasing lol) Almost all of us are waiting with great anticipation for GW:EN to arrive in about 6 weeks. In the mean time, give us events that will entertain the masses.
For example, we've only had one triple green drop weekend in Elona, and that was when NF was just released and most of us weren't too far in the game. The double SS/LB points was fun and most of us would like to have the chance at maxing out that title. Hell, we should have had a dbl pts weekend just after the new SS skills were released. For those of us that want to finish up HM vanquishing, let's have the 4 leaf clovers and chocolate eggs drop again. Loved to farm those!
Also, why dont they ever have simultaneous pvp/pve events to give everyone something to do? Triple green drop combined with a double glad points or faction weekend would rock IMO.

Hey. they definitely should double the 'Skill Hunter' point rather than give us those 'useful' XP. Not a lot of ppl actually care about XP anyway
