Pre-order not yet available in Online Store

I thought the pre-order kit became available today. Yet I don't see where I can buy it on the online store! Am I blind or is it not there yet?

It is available on the PlayNC store. I haven't seen it on the GW store though

It's not up yet. And there's really no rush to get it, you can't use the weapons until you add the GW:EN access key to your account. So you have until the 24th of August, when the preview weekend begins to buy it.

And I don't see why you wouldnt be able to use the weapons you get right now. All the other expansions when you got the preorder like factions you could use the weapons right away. Does it state somewhere that you cant?

I know there's plenty of time to still buy the pre-order kit, but when you set the expectation with the wife and she gives the go-ahead, you don't want to miss the boat. Anyone else here know what I'm sayin?

Don't order it from the PlayNC store IF you want credits for the bonus mission pack.
if you hunt around the 'Gaile talk page' on the official wiki you'll see some mention of the fact that ONLY purchases from the Official GuildWars store (the one on the character select screen) are valid to count towards this.
Don't make the same mistake I did.

Woke up this morning at 6 o clock to preorder and it wasn't even there!! I was sad .

thought it was promised to be in the online store on the 20th...well..that means they have one hour left in my time zone :P not to mention other people in later timezones...for them its already a day late :P whats going on there Anet? Why is it on the playNC store but not in the ingame store yet...

I too was looking forward to equipping all my caster heroes with a cool new staff to replace the broken factions staff but I also have a sinking feeling that the only staff that spawns upon /bonus will be for the class you are. Maybe secondaries will count which will work albeit not very efficiently.

* Pre-order and promotional weapons that contain open component slots can once again be enhanced with upgrade components. These upgrades cannot be salvaged from the weapon once they have been applied.
Miscellaneous
* The character selection screen has been updated to Guild Wars: Eye of the North.
Bug Fixes
* Fixed several skill-related bugs that occurred during the last update. Included among these updates: Fast Casting once again works on Signets, Spawning Power once again increases weapon spell duration, and Mesmer interrupt skills once again work on Chants.

The music sounds like the best yet (and that's saying something), but unfortunately the GW Store isn't loading for me. All I get is a black screen. I'm going to try to run Guild Wars with the -image command and let it fully load first and see if things improve.

well now it's supposedly there but I keep getting an error when trying to enter the store...sigh
Edit: finally got in but I'm getting 'timeout when connecting to shop' error on the final purchase so now I'm afraid to do it again until I know I haven't already been billed...gg Anet Thanks for making sure the store would work and could handle the traffic this time around.
