Anet better do a skill balance, nerfing/balancing heroway, rit spike, paragons... oh screw it, EVERYTHING that's broken (which is pretty much the entire state of PvP) before this weekend. Oh, and remove the lame objectives too. Otherwise it's going to phail. Not that I expect a skillbalance or anything to be done to fix HA, I'm just saying....

How about fixing the problems first ( why don't you read what PVP players think about you in Gladiator;s Arena, or QQ forums ), then make silly weekends no one wants. Anet fails again.

I don't normally complain about weekends that aren't for me...they're bonuses after all....but as a pve player I was expecting another pve weekend...every other weekend like they've been doing forever.

I'm expecting 2 pve weekends after this...

Another lame weekend. I'd much rather have like a triple dye drops weekend...screw PvP weekends...

I bet anet is using this as an excuse so that they can delay game balance and to "observe the current metagame for better balancing". As if seeing crap in GvGs wasn't enough.

People that are whining about 2 PvP weekends in a row or whatever need to gtfo, no one cares. What matters is that this is an HA weekend, while in the current state of things HA is absolute shit. That is the only legitimate reason to whine.

would you be complaining if the tides were turned and pvp players were left dry on a weekend that was supposed to be a pvp weekend? I'd bet money on it.

Actually I wouldn't give a damn, I didn't even realize until I read this thread that it alternated PvE to PvP; I'd just never really noticed. I'd assume that about 90%+ of other PvPers also wouldn't care. Also, I wasn't taking a direct shot at you or other people complaining about the double PvP weekend; I was more saying that this thread should really be more to discuss why the weekend shouldn't happen due to game balance/HA issues, not due to the regular schedule of weekends.

REAL HA'ers dont care about double fame unless they got like 30k fame to next lvl and even then im sure only marginally, this only helps the farmers so screw it cancel this weekend give it to the PvE'ers idk ;p

Wow! Just Wow. Did you miss the part of my question that was all-caps? It was EVERY WEEK It has absolutely nothing to do with whether it's PvE or PvP. It has to do with someone starting a thread about the upcoming weekend and how many people chose to whine when it doesn't suit their interests. And the whining comes from both sides of the aisle, PvP and PvE.

My second question was rhetorical. I know why there wasn't any whining in the forums about last weekend's event - no one made a thread about it.

Okay guys. Here's the go. Stop whining about it being 2 PvP weekends in a row. Aside from these 2, almost every weekend has been PvE.

Secondly. Anet....you fail. Again. This is the 3rd double fame weekend, and not once have people thought it to be a good idea. Stop making double fame to distract people from the fact that you haven't fixed HA yet.

I hate "special" PVP weekends. They only screw things, and bring hordes of gimmick players to ruin whatever balance there still is ( virtually none now ). Some posters, even in this thread already stated that its time to ritspike. My congratulations to Arena Net, and their vision of PVP , 321 spike, 321 spike, 321 spike.

Heroes' Ascent friday to sunday will be 60% heroway ( olias and friends ), and 39% ritspike. Mark my words.

I hope all special weekends are PVE only. At least they bring some good stuff for PVE players out there.But whatever, do what you will, not like you listen to PVP community anyway.

See the problem is, even if they do skill balance, it will probably be a shitty one that balances about 10 skills that don't matter in the great scheme of things.
