Is this another glitch, cant imagine a miniature mallyx in pre-searing.

I was trying to find the thread (perhaps deleted?), but there was something on "how to get Survivor and LDoA on the same char" or something like that. Basically, it was on using tomes in Pre to acquire a hard res skill and blah blah blah. Point is, it was pure speculation based on the ability to get tomes, or any item for that matter, to a pre character.
Someone had mentioned about a mod, not a texture mod, but something else, that allowed them to add a button that specifically allowed them to go to the guild hall. Of course, at that point you could trade any items back to pre just like the last bug/exploit back in the day.
Again, no idea what happened to the thread, perhaps the mentioning of this mod got it deleted, and if that was the case - oops for mentioning. But yeah, might be what's going on and it should be known just like dupes so that it can be squashed before it gets widespread. If it's real, that is.

This was reported last week here.
There is a mod hack that players are using to edit their .exe files that is similiar to the innocent texture mods that have become so popular recently. This particular mod adds a "Goto Guild Hall" button to their interface so the Pre characters are able to go back and forth to their GHs freely. Thus bringing back tomes, expert salvage kits, minis, etc to Pre.
A lot this this has been overshadowed by the Armbrace fiasco, but hopefully the developers will have time to do something about it soon.

Last week, Dread Pirate Fargus posted thread in Sardelac Sanitarium expressing concern regarding the Perma-Pre Kidnappers exploit. (Characters being dragged out of Pre against their will.) The texture mod quote in my last post came from that thread.

I started another thread on the subject in Riverside and linked back to the original because more people would see the thread in Riverside and thus it would more likely gain the attention of Gaile and the developers.

All that talk about pre-searing got my mind to thinking again about the possibility of survivor and LDoA. Someone in the previous threads mentioned that they knew a person who kept his char in the Guild Hall during the previous ancient glitch and only recently brought him back to pre. When I started the Survivor/LDoA thread, I was unaware of the mod hack and thought it would be cool if someone could obtain both titles using a smuggled tome. (Smuggled using the original glitch and a year+ campout in the GH)
