Anyone doing anything to get prepared to go into GWEN?

Same. Currently im farming with 130 hp and its going quite well.

sleeping in the afternoon so I can stay up all night.

I meant real life money. I'm totally broke. No money for games.

Now, this is worthy preparation.

Really though...I've done all my prepping, armor and weapons etc. Just title grinding left to be done.

Gathering crafting materials to sell for 20x the price of what there worth becuase players really want the new armor, lol

I have been farming and cleaning account storage and the storage of each toon on my primary and secondary account. I will also be calling work and saying that I am dead so that they know not to expect me for a few days.

Farming 100k (check)
Working on Hammer build for my Warrior (check)
Finishing Nightfall (just have to kill off Abadon)
Maxing out my Sunspear and Lightbringer titles (will work on it next week after the preview)
Cleaning out storage (loads of dead bows for sale and maybe I can get rid of the horde of collectables I've amassed)

I booked Friday off work!!!

Other than that, Stocking up on materials for new armors. I'm set to buy whatever 15k monk armor they release (for the armor gallery in HoM).
Also trying to tie up some titles before EOTN goes live next week. I hope to finish all Cartographer titles by then. 100% Elona , 98.2% Tyria, 90% Cantha.

I'm putting money in the bank through FoW runs(sadly my Ranger isn't ready for UW solo farming yet) and a bit of 55 farming. Also...I'm opening treasures with all my toons. Not looking forward to opening the RoT treasures. I hate fighting huge mobs only to find that there's nothing there. I should be buying common crafting materials for a new armor set for my Ranger. I'm sure there's going to be some sort of diamond encrusted armor but I'm poor so I'll have to settle for some less glamorous armor.

Actually I will miss it all I am going to enjoy time with my newborn which is currently scheduled for a C-section on Friday. Great timing maybe she should be named Gwen hummmmmmm.

I haven't been doing too much that differently, though my fourth character is finally going through NF :P. I tend to spend too much time in one of the elite missions otherwise, though there's really no need to, since I have all of the greens except Victo's Bulwark (have Strongroot's Shelter instead).

Congrats!! I always thought Gwendolyn was a pretty name. So is Gwenavyre. (all that delightful Arthurian imagery)

...speaking of which, I'll be missing out on most of the good times in game this weekend. Opening weekend of the renaissance festival and all. (crazy me...gotta put flesh space first). I'll at least get to whet my appetite Friday night. Not as if I could go crazy on new stuff anyway. Just got my first set of 15K and I'm skint.

Well maybe I'm just a tad overexcited here but:

In the trailers I saw a fire elemental boss in one of the dungeons and from here my cash went downhill.
What if the dungeons have different elemental foes in it? I better be prepared^^

*Bought all different elemental insignia's
*Made 4 different elemental bows of warding
*Made a sundering Zehtuka's Shortbow Of Charrslaying(+25%)
*Bought 100 diamonds (when price was still low 2.3k)
*Made a sundering bow of Tenguslaying(+20%) (maybe for bonus mission "Tengu Wars"
*stockpiled materials
*Have loads of alcohol(in game)
*Have some Bow upgrades in stock
*Took a long weekend off
*Arranged 2 dinners with her friends for my girlfriend(tried to persuade her to join me in battle, Answer: nah!

Eh I won't be doing much in the way of the preview: I work 12 hours on Friday, will be getting home at about 3am EST. Then I need to sleep for about 3 hours, and make my 3 hour trip to college (woo first year!) and go through all the orientation and whatnot. Perhaps... Saturday night or if there is any free-time Sunday. Hope everybody has more fun than me ^_^ [If anybody wants to hand over some 15k dervish materials, feel free haha]

Congrats on the baby. Mine is due on Sept 24th, so I'll get around a month to play, then it'll be up to him when I get to play.

To get ready...I've gotten a few titles, sold items belonging to characters I never intend on playing again and I'm actually going to try to take my time with this chapter like I did with Prophecies and not rush through it like I did with Factions and Nightfall.

Trying to drag a proper Ranger through Factions to L20 in time to send him North. Got to L17 last night and Vizunah Square, so I'm close. I'd like to get him to Prophecies too, though, so I can cap Barrage off Markis before EotN is released.

Also farming balth in RA with my knockdown warrior and interrupt Mesmer.

Getting tired of getting pwned by sins on the mesmer character though... might have to break out my anti-Melee mesmer template and get some revenge tonight
