No, what's bizarre is saying that once money changes hands, all humanity is stripped from the situation. If a company makes a product you really enjoy, it's not unreasonable to be thankful to them for making it, even if you do pay for it.

When I get good service at a restaurant, I leave a good tip and I appreciate it, I don't think "that was good service, but I'm sure not going to feel anything like thanks, because my money is thanks enough."

Yeah but you usually tip them (and maybe thank them) AFTER you've eaten and enjoyed the entire meal. Otherwise you're just kissing their ass, hoping they won't spit in your food before you're done.

my disappointment in gwen so far:
1- no hard mode...WTF? i wanted more challenge, i play as an ss and i cleared the whole thing + dungeons in a day.
2- normal mode chest as locked chest is a bad idea...1.5k(1.2k from players) for a key to get 90% of the time a purple item that isn't max sucks imo.

i don't really care about the reskins, i play for fun.
i don't complain about the grind also, since i like to kill everything in areas.

pros:
1-quests are awesome, and the rewards are awesome as well, 1k gold per quests + items = awesome.
2-Dungeons, this was my favorite part in the weekend, i did all 4 accessible ones, and did them multiple times. really fun and i cant wait to try them in hard mode.
3- every item drop now (was about time) imo since its the last game why not put everything the game has to offer in pve.
4- olden or the dwarf hench, is freaking funny when he says " The Great Dwarf save me!! in one of the cinematic.

thats pretty much it lol, im definitely buying gwen

To Gwmaster: Playing SS/SV don't count. That's God mode. ;D

As to the reskins, yeah, the avalances look like the stone guys from Nightfall that a snowplow dusted, and they didn't even try with the Djinns. Ever see the characters in WoW? There is hardly any variety in the characters YOU make. The beasts are re-skinned the same way as any OTHER GAME. They have a certain graphics design for each type of monster. The windriders and Irukandji, the grasps and imps, the giants and Yeti. If they had to code a whole new design every time they made up a monster, we'd be waiting for GWEN next January. Other games, games you pay monthly for, do the same thing.

Don't forget. They made the preview to get a taste of what was in store. Yeah, you can get some cool items, etc. You can't(unless you have classic OCD. read:grinder) max out titles, yet. I do think that they should lower the title you could get armor, since you can get Kurzick just for having faction in it. Maybe 10k, the threshhold for Gyala Hatchery. The high titles do encourage grind. Of course, maybe they will lower it when the REAL GAME comes out.

Which comes to this. It's a preview, as said before. You weren't meant to grind out to your heart's content. I do believe, as well, that those heroes/skills you got will disappear at midnight PST, to return on Friday. Be happy with the PEEK, and at least wait for the whole game to be out before reaching for the blowtorch.

also remember you only get hard mode after completing a campaign. it could be the same with GW:EN (completing the full expansion)
