Okay, next pic by me! For the previous assignment. hehe I chose to do Eden's Web. I haven't done the written part yet and don't know if I will. Getting ready to watch CSI and feeling lazy. haha But again, I'm not a contestant, so...yeah. But of course if I had been I'd do the written part as well. Anyway, here is my main character, Tender Wolf, starring in Eden's Web.

I followed the advice of the elite druid armor (the flowers in my hair add a nice touch I think hehe), and what I'm trying to portray here is Tender Wolf making the flowers arise from the earth that she is creating under the moonlight. And let me just say, that since I forgot to leave my pet behind, he wanted to steal the spotlight. But he finally went away. hehe

Feel free to let me know what you think (about this one and the last one)! I know Kitiara responds. hehe And I apologize for the lousy graphics, lots of people on here have said I need a new graphics card. lmao So that's why it doesn't look as detailed. And that's pretty much as close as I could get the shot without cutting off the plant. Any farther and you couldn't really even see her eyes.

P.S. I'll be gone for about a week, but I'll come back on here ASAP. I have this competition bookmarked so I can get to it easily. Good luck ladies! Be back soon!

hehe Yeah I admit I did kind of get the idea from her. I just added the idea someone gave for the druid armor and tried to add more of a background, and more "livelihood" if that makes any sense. Man I can't spell like I used to. hehe But yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Oh well I'll try better next time!

Hey Tender
I think you have some good ideas here...good armor choice and yes the hair is a nice touch... I understand u are going with Tasha's vibe...some things to consider - don't let the flowers upstage u..meaning being in the way of u being the center of attention - I like that u have the angle on them to draw attention but the proportion is too big for your character to compete with visually..their color also make the eye go to them...a good thing to do is find flowers that compliment your armor color maybe white since u have white in your hair...or blue is better...the background isn't the ideal spot for your armor, you blend in a little too much - I think it's good that you are going natural to harmonize with nature but u definately need lighting to your advantage to make your char "pop" so to speak...all in all, I think you are growing so don't give up and maybe try and redo this shot and see if u can improve after receiving direction? Just an idea...but it might allow u to see the difference a few changes can make

Best wishes!
<3 Kiti

/edit added my Eden so u could see that I, like u, felt a natural look would work...but see how the lighting keeps me from melting in the grass too much? Lighting is where it's at girl

Yup, agreeing with Kitiara's comments. The flowers do kind of steal the spotlight from you, and the general background lighting/mood isn't as lush and verdant as I'd picture Eden's Web to be. Otherwise, I like your choice of emote and it really does bring across the idea you had. /flex is fun. <3
Also, I think it would be better to post these screens and stuff in the feedback thread? After all, this was it's original purpose...

Huh, and right now as I'm doing the second part of the assignment I notice that the list is missing Rose's favourite genre - adventure fantasy. Oh well, gotta try to go with one of the other ones. Horror is nice too.

Awe Ashling don't worry! Yesterday I was all upset cuz I had another last minute extended family crisis meeting (yes still dealing with the family drama) - it ran from 9am till I got home at 9:58pm and I had planned on reshooting my 2nd pic...needless to say I couldn't get it done and had to send in my submission with a pic that I don't know if the judges will love...not to mention I had to "learn" what the heck to do to pull off our "top secret" assignment part one...so don't worry - I'm right there with you...anxious and hope the judges don't laugh their butt off at my newly learned handiwork >.<

(don't worry viewers...it will all make sense when you see the submissions to part one )

Can't wait to see what you did for part one Ashling & Rosemary! I'm sure if it's anything like mine I will enjoy its ......let's say........"x factor" and how the heck u decided to pull it off

Well well well, judging by the amount of harassment I've been getting from the general public and contestants, it seems you guys actually want to see what our contestants brought to the table this week.

You lot have been getting to used to me rushing the judges, making them judge the shots and posting shortly after the assignments are due. Well, I can't do that every time, and it would be appreciated it if we where actually given some time to do our work. I could make you all wait till I've gotten some sleep, but since I'm already here, might as well.

This week, we assigned our three remaining contestants 2 parts. The first part, they each received a separate script, none similar to the other, and they had to (if able) complete these scripts, along with part two, which was posted here in the forums.

I will post the scripts these contestants where given, along with any written materials they provided. Also note, I will be posting the Part 1 shots as just a link, for the shots aren't for the "younger" audiences per say.

And here we are, our three final contestants, with this weeks assignment.

Movie #2

Title: Secret Life
Director: Sheena Rabid
Writer: Stalkerish Feater
Summary: Plot consists of a fear stricken women, who had finally escaped Kryta. Deemed a runaway and traitor to her country, she finds a new life in the plains of Istan. Finally she away from her abusive husband. Word gets around, and her husbands goes and searches for her. Through many close escapes, she caught by her blood thirsty man, and is beaten until she is forced to fight back and accidentally kills him. Scared by what she has done, she continues to run. Can she deal with being a murderer?
Casting: Female that is thin, and possibly athletic or in very good physical shape. Must be able to hold her own against a domineering man. Able to become emotional at a drop of a hat, and good facial expressions.

1. What is your first thought of this script?
2. If you were given this as an assignment, would you do it?
3. If no, please explain why.
If yes, please send your interpretation picture for this assignment to the best of you ability.
4. Do you think controversial pictures work for the movie industry?

I you did happen to say yes to question three, I want you to the picture as if it were a movie poster, or a scene from the movie itself. You can add your own flare(manipulation like text and any enhancement you feel will make it better) to make it recognizable. You can do any scene that written in the plot summary, or you feel will happen towards the end.

If you said no, you must give a reasonable answer why you did not want to do it. Please answer it as an argument, not a flame or a two sentence statement. We want to know what exactly made you turn this script down.
Assignment 10 PART One : Response to “Secret Life” emailed script:

1. My first thought of the script is how daunting, challenging, and difficult a role it would be. The mental duress one must go through to fully commit to a role such as this is a huge task. What does it mean to me? A golden opportunity to embrace an incredible challenge to prove I am truly a superstar. It may be scary or controversial to do such a role but actresses I admire such as Jodie Frostgate in “The Accursed” prove that taking such a risk can lead to a Nolani Academy Award.

2. I would do this assignment because even though it is a monstrosity of difficulties; I believe it would challenge me to possibly give my greatest performance yet. Superstars are born from incredible multi-layered performances; not from cameo appearances which only require one to stand and look pretty. I am a huge believer that hard work pays off and while a role like this may cause great self sacrifice; it does not require me to sacrifice my ethics, my family, or my integrity as an actress.

3. I chose to submit a scene shot where I am getting attacked and Olias is about to die. I find that to be the climax of the story and certainly the part I would want to show that I can give an exciting performance. I also felt it was important to make the hard choices of how he would die being that Kitiara is already deemed a coward and most unlikely to be one to aggressively fight back. I believe he would die more as the result of his own instigation while trying to kill his wife.

4. I do think controversial pictures work for the industry. Not all of them are successful but who can forget “The Passion of the Collector” with James Cavalon or “Basic Incendiary Bond” with Sharon Stonequarry? Each was instrumental in escalating the actor’s status in the industry. In the end, whether an actor or audience approves of a film; we are all drawn to the debates and questioning those movies provoke. We all might be uncomfortable with the issues that a movie may address, but when movies like “Passion” grosses over $370 billion gold; it proves that we are not that uncomfortable and the industry will be happy to keep us fidgeting in our seats.

Kitiara's Part One Shot

Assignment 10 PART Two : Questions related to a dream role.

1. The genre I would most like to be involved would be in romance. This would stem from my desire to fight in the name of love. I think the best movies, such as “Gone with the Whirlwind” have always involved a fight for something one believes in; most often it is love. These are the films one watches more than once, no matter how old it becomes. I want to be an actress in a film that is a favorite long after I have knocked at Grenth’s door.

While I wouldn’t say I naturally look the part of a romantic, it certainly was the most fun to defy the odds and prove that I have the talent to pull it off. I find it rewarding to hit the hard challenges head on; giving it my best shot so I can walk away with my head held high…no matter how bad the odds seem to be.

2. Even though I love to look sultry and glamorous, I value being a strong heroine too. I find that the most attractive role and it has proven to work well for me even in rusted armor. I feel I have a strong spirit so if I could only do one role; I would want to do what I could to tap into my own life to give the best performance. I try to emulate Angelina Junundu’s belief that a good actor never “acts” but truly bears their soul and emotion through believing in a given situation. With that in mind, I feel I am meant to play the role of a heroine; I just always try to look sultry while doing it!

Judges Comments:

Judge 1:

Part 1 Picture: Omg. Wow, I never would of thought that this scene would come from the script that you were given. You really went to town with the editing and it looks wonderful and works so well with the character you were supposed to portray. Your angle is great, the scene is great, the environment and expression is great. I don't know what else to say.

Part 2 Writing: Hehe, I love your play on words and your creativity with these answers, it makes it all the more enjoyable to read. When you said romance, I was completely shocked, but I'm not going to scrutinize your opinion. I have to say your the more a heroine type, always in your face and taking over the screen. But I like that you are open to more genres and roles!

Part 2 Picture: Wow, what I said about your romance thing before, never mind! I know your domineering but you can make it look sexy and sultry along with it. This is such a compelling shot, I love it so much. You have improved so much with everything and this picture shows it all.

Judge 2:

Picture Critique:
Without a doubt, you are the most improved. From an amateur with absolutely NO experience to a budding actress... I am simply impressed. And trust me, tis hard to impress this diva! Your 2nd picture is classy, the background is perfect, your cropping is now flawless, and your use of lighting is now delightful. The 1st one shows great concepts, great imagination, creativity, and shows your versatility. In general, I believe you could easily handle these scripts. It's always good to be able to impress the mainstream audiences and the Indie (albeit pretentious, sometimes) film group.

Advice:
Reading your comments, I can see a very ambitious and hard working actress. I see where you are coming from, with your quoting of Angelina Junundu... but I would like to remind you, acting is as much of technique as imagination Unlike the other girls, your overall experience here has been a learning process. The other girls were strong from start to finish, technically (in pictures) flawless, and creatively strong as well. Over the last few weeks you have shown great talent and promise, but does that make up for your rather poor performances before? Directors will look at your overall experience. How will you explain yourself? Is acting as much of reacting as acting? Out of everyone, I would like to see you prove to me once and for all you can nail your (ALWAYS) creative concepts into brilliant executions. Only then will I believe that you can make a true superstar. I am hoping you won't disappoint me.

Judge 3:

Part One: Wow, there was a lot more "damage" done then I expected from this script. Fire, blades, blood, bruising, and death, all in one shot. So much going on, yet brought together so well. Even the husbands hair got burned off in the scene (I bet he barely even had any anyway! :P). Not what I expected for this part of the assignment, but ended up much better in a different way.

Part Two: Wow, wow...wow.....I was shocked to see this coming from you. I never expected to see a warrior princess (or Queen in this competition) to be this hawt. This is nothing compared to your sexual scene with Devona earlier on in this competition. Theres nothing I found wrong with this shot, everything is flawless in my opinion, if anyone tells you otherwise, well, then they're wrong, and I'm always right! My last comment is directed at the lucky Ritualist, one of these days, I will be able to be in that position! :P

Movie #3

Title: Abaddon's Hope
Director: Agor Stuffbottom
Writer: Gista Givens
Summary: Plot consists of a happy go lucky teenager of Kryta. A very innocent child that has never really left home, is given a chance to travel the others lands after she finished schooling in Lions Arch. Being very religious, looking up to the deity Dwayna, her family has total confidence she wouldn't be tarnished by the other ways of the world. In her stop in the snowy Shiverpeaks, she runs into a fellow traveler, who she instantly becomes interested in. A very gorgeous man, he only seems to want to know about her and only her. After turning down his offer for dinner in Gunnar's Hold, she retreats to her inn and plans her next stop. Suddenly, in the dead of night someone breaks into her room and holds a weapon in her face. She soon notices it is the guy from earlier. He holds her down as he has his way with her and quickly leaves her in tears. After this shocking and desperate moment, she questions herself along with her religion. Why did this have to happen to her? Why wasn't Dwayna looking out for her?

Casting: Female who has a young, fresh look and appear innocent. Must be very emotional, and great facial expressions. Must have a keen sense of where she is for traveling.

1. What is your first thought of this script?

From first reading, I am excited about it! I anticipate from the title alone that this isn't a simple tale of good triumphing over evil – We've seen enough of that! Let's subvert a few clichés!

I think this film will deal with very important and engrossing issues, to which a wide variety of audiences will be able to relate – A loss of innocence, growing up too fast, a questioning of faith. Besides, I love a tale of a troubled soul. I think that if a story doesn't pull at your heart, it's not worth telling. I feel that this one would touch the audience's hearts a few times over.

2. If you were given this as an assignment, would you do it?
Yes, absolutely! In an instant! Givens' writing has won me over already.

Of course, I would want to be sure that Mister Stuffbottom does the script justice, and treats with appropriate sensitivity and tact the more controversial scenes – Movies like this have to be done well, it goes without saying.

In that sense, it's a risky move, perhaps, but I couldn't possibly turn down a role that I feel I could so get into, and so appreciate.

3. If yes, please send your interpretation picture for this assignment to the best of you ability.
I want you to the picture as if it were a movie poster, or a scene from the movie itself. You can add your own flare(manipulation like text and any enhancement you feel will make it better) to make it recognizable. You can do any scene that written in the plot summary, or you feel will happen towards the end.
I enclose a picture of the female lead towards the end of the script as given. Lost and filled with doubt in the cold, barren Shiverpeaks, she falls to her knees before the cold stone statue of her chosen deity, Dwayna, begging; Do you hear me? Do you hear me? …Are you there at all?

4. Do you think controversial pictures work for the movie industry?
Absolutely. I think all media thrives on controversy. Controversy is like instant publicity! And you know what they say – All publicity is good publicity. A controversial film gets people talking, gets people interested – prompts debate and stronger sentiments in moviegoers and critics alike. If no controversial pictures were ever made, cinema would still be where it was fifty – sixty – seventy years ago!

Ashling's Part One Shot

Part Two

1. Do you see yourself participating in:
Romance
Tragedy
A mixture of the ones above (Please specify).

From the experience I have gained during this competition, I have to say the shoots I have most enjoyed are those spent working closely with other actors and actresses, and for this reason, I would love to work more in the field of Romance films in the future. Of course, genres are always overlapping in film, and romance is scarcely found unaccompanied. As a writer, a reader, a movie-goer – all those things – I find myself a lover of Tragedy, and sure enough, Romance and Tragedy find themselves paired often enough. A tragic romance – star crossed lovers – perhaps that is my ideal sort of tale – even with a little Fantasy thrown in, for I think a story that echoes in your heart and in your imagination is best of all.

2. Which role to you see yourself in:
Heroine (Strong and Independent)
Damsel in Distress (Innocent and helpless)
and why?

Although I expect it is no surprise that I – like many others, I am sure – dream of playing the Heroine, I in fact envision my dream role as part Heroine – strong and independent, and part Damsel in Distress – innocent and helpless. Perhaps contradictory, on first sight, but I shall try to explain:

I like to surprise people – Who doesn't? My innocent looks and quiet demeanour make me seem quite the Damsel in Distress; naïve, innocent, in need of looking after. And yet, daily in my travels and adventures, I prove myself more the Heroine – I am stronger than you might think; capable of taking care of myself, and even taking command of others besides.

So you see, my own personality reflects these apparently opposite poles, and so I think my perfect role would be something of that nature: A naïve girl who must grow up and take on responsibilities; an innocent who must set her childhood aside to protect those she loves; the damsel who it turns out must rescue her prince.

That is who I would like to play.

Along with those questions you must also turn in one or two pictures to show you in your dream role. Please keep in mind what you had answered in the previous questions.
I enclose a picture of myself in such a role. The young heroine says farewell to her lover at the docks. She must leave behind all she cares for to go on a long journey, and yet, even as she comforts her lover, she looks to the future with hope and determination, and promises to return.
(Thanks to Kiri Tydalon for helping on this one!)

Judges Comments:

Judge 1:

Part 1 Picture: I gotta say the story that was picked for you was more dynamic and and full of emotional stress. Just from the summary, one could of taken a lot of serious scenes to portray here and my mind was whirring about which one you were going to pick and was excited to hear that everyone had freedom to edit them as much as they want. When I got to your picture, honestly my excitement went to a halt. I was not expecting it, actually I really don't know what to expect from anyone. But I think you picked the most common scene that anyone would of picked. It is very emotional, and I love what you did with the eyes and making her cry in front of Dwayna. You picked a crucial turning point in the main characters life, but only after the dynamic scene. Its great, but I guess I was suspecting a little more action.

Part 2 Writing: I really connected with you in the writing portion of this part of the assignment, and I agree that you are made for romance films just from previous assignments. Your face and your ability at lighting works well with the emotional tug at romance films. Also, I agree that you work well with being a damsel in distress, a look you have been sporting in a few pictures but worked well for you.

Part 2 Picture: Your picture, I don't know, didn't work well for me and I was wondering what happened here. I don't think the armor choice was the greatest choice here, because it would confuse a viewer of what was actually going. Ritualist armor has a variety of more of an "adventurer" look than the one you've chosen. With a pair of sails in the background along with a very covering outfit along with the male role's armor just doesn't fit as well as it should. You could of done a whole lot better, and we all know you can.

Judge 2:

Pictures:
Good, but ain't your best Ashling! Your use of lighting is of course evident again, for you have mastered it... but these really aren't stand out pictures. The 1st one is lovely, the blue is a little boring, a little cliche, but very emotional. The 2nd one is just poorly thought out. The mummy armor doesn't help with the scene, for you look your departing to your death or something like that. The guy also looks like hes mourning, which doesn't help.

Advice:
Technically, you are flawless, I believe you have probably one of the strongest portfolios in this competition. As well, you are very intelligent, and it shows that instead of following your impulses, you also analyze scenes/directors/scripts. Its not a bad thing, but I also hope you don't become jaded into just using intelligence to act. A lot of acting requires spontaneity, freshness, to make it realistic. For this week, your pictures seemed dull compared to your "fresher," pictures (Kill Jill for example). You have it in you, but I hope you can find a balance between your intellectual thought and your artistic impulses.

Judge 3:

Part One: I felt that this script would be the harder one of the three to complete, but still I felt it was easy enough to complete. I had expected more, more then just crying, and praying her to goddess after this horrible event. Editing possible ripped clothing, like a rip in the shoulder, to show a sign of a struggle even. I will admit the tearing face is a good touch, but I think more could have been added to make this shot more unique.

Part Two: I believe from the last assignment, when we told you that you looked gorgeous in your Ancient clothing, you thought that it would have the same effect this week, hoping that we would give you the same "ohhs" and "awees". Yes Ashling is hawt in that armor, but I don't think it fits her Heroine theme in this shot. You're writing though is great, it makes a reader want to continue on, but it ends before it even fully starts! Just like your "Author Anyone?" assignment.

Title: Lyssa Stories
Director: Angie Toochya
Writer: Bob Bobchild
Summary: Plot consists of two unsuspecting members of the Kaineng War, who are forced to become comrades while on a mission to hold base at Xaquang Skyway. AS months past, the fast friends start to find themselves becoming lonely, without other companions other than themselves. They soon find the love and warmth of each other. They run the risk of getting kicked from the army, and possibly death if they are caught. Will love prevail over war?
Casting: Female who is strong, and knows her way around any weapon. Open minded, and has no qualms about same sex, sex scenes.

2. If you were given this as an assignment, would you do it?
3. If no, please explain why.

Part one:

1. What is your first thought of this script?

I thought it was very interesting. I enjoy movies that have some kind of deeper meaning behind them, or some kind of critique on the way society works. This script has both. People are always drawn to company, no matter what the circumstances. We don't like to be alone - being alone without mental and physical love goes against our very nature. Love and sex are just normal part of who we are, and sometimes circumstances drive us to search for it in places that are normally frowned upon. I applaud people who have the courage to stand up to the rest of the world rather than suppressing their need for love. This script definitely works with my ideals, and it will be very enjoyable to help to bring it to the big screen.

2. If you were given this as an assignment, would you do it?

Yes I would. See below.

3.See Entry

4. Do you think controversial pictures work for the movie industry?

It seems to depend on how well they're done. Most people regard movies as a form of relaxation - you go see a movie to unwind, to let your brain relax. These people won't mind watching controversial pictures, as long as the controversy isn't too obvious and the movie has other entertainment values. Still, they generally aren't the right audience for such movies.
There are also people who enjoy watching movies that make them think and see the world in a different way. These are the right audience for this kind of movie. They are the minority, but not by much - if controversial movies were completely erased from the movie industry, they would lose a huge chunk of the audience and income.
I believe there will always be room for controversial movies and that they only work to make the industry stronger. Movies are like books - there will always be a huge amount of penny novels with a few worthy gems mixed in. Sometimes you need movies that let your brain shut down, and other times you need movies that open your eyes to a new point of view.

Rosemary's Part One Shot

Part Two

1. I see myself participating in horror. Probably something a bit more mature as well, not just teen flicks. Fantasy and adventure are also great favourites of mine, but I think that out of that list horror is the one closest to my heart.

2. I see myself as the heroine, strong and independent. I also have a soft spot for eye candy roles... it would be very interesting to play a mix of the two.

(my sister commented on the second picture and said that the background looks Photoshopped - trust me, it isn't. The place is in Vehtendi Valley, against one of the walls. I can show the spot if you need proof)

Judges Comments: Part 1 Picture: I was really eager to see what you would come up with this script. Even though it has been expressed before in the much earlier assignment, this script had more of a background and picky about its settings and emotions. So I was curious of how you gone about and done it, and what I can say is wow. The two pictures side by side, really help highlight the differences here as well. You had hit every detail here, with the Kaineng outskirts, with even a hint of a "war" going on in the distance with the smoke. They look like they are comforting themselves, and I like how you not only edited to make it darker, but removing their tops to show their closeness to one another. One woman looks distraught, while the other is comforting her. It could lead on to a lot of interpretations, but there not wrong off the target. Great job!

Part 2 Writing: You had such short answers here in this section, and I wonder if its because you spent so much time on the first one. I was really surprised that you picked horror, but looking back at a couple pictures I can see why you picked some of them. I see you more in a damsel in distress picture from the story you made in Assignment #8, but I can also see you as the strong and independent type in these horror flicks.

Part 2 Picture: I really love this picture, she almost looks like a zombie, just from the background making her skin pale and lifeless. Very domineering and taking over the scene.

Judge 2:

Picture:
Your ghost picture is the best shot for me this week. Your fingers look "clawlike", and you look soooo pale its scary. So sadly, your other shot also pales in comparison. Its not bad, but I just don't know how to interpret it. It looks like you're comforting her? Reaching for her bum bum? Going for a kiss? It may be just me, but the first one is just a little too vague for me.

Advice:
Brecht once said: "If you want to see something that doesn't require thinking, go to the washroom, not the theater." He would agree with you entirely that there is always that minority of art house cliques (yes, they're CULTS I SAY)
films need to represent. In a way, that minority can sometimes be almost elitist in attitude and pretentious, and as well the mainstream audiences can be a little brainless. However, in YOU, I see an actress that can dominate both... can cross over, and can be a true superstar. I think what I see in you more than most of the other contestants is passion. I mean, you auditioned for all the movies last week, and yes its quality over quantity, but looking at your pictures I would say you had both quality AND quantity. You've got some pressure, and if you don't live up to my expectations, I'll truly be disappointed.

Judge 3:

Part One: From this script, I expected a lot of hot and steaminess coming from it. You had the ability to take your picture editing further then just partial nudity, the script was basically in short more of a sex scene then a comforting scene, which is what I believe is being displayed here more then anything. Although it's not what I expected, it's still awesome to the effects of what you did do. Removing clothing, showing more skin then what we normally see.

Part Two: Part two, at first glance was very bright. It does look photoshopped, but I remember seeing this wall once before, and i merely avoided it because of the bright colors it was throwing at me. The writing on this part was also shorter then what I expected, and i thought Rose would play more of a romantic scene, as she has had so many different lovers throughout this whole competition! Also my question is, why topless, but wear a long skirt?

Results shall be posted within 24 hours. (Let the suspense continue)

Oh WOW Kitiara. Your screens were just.... wow. I'm speechless. They're definitely my favourite ones this round, both of them. You display so much raw emotion in both of them, it's just amazing! I'm absolutely sure you'll be in the top two.

Ashling, loved the emotion in your submissions too. The tears in the eyes were a nice touch, and I loved the overall colour scheme. Great job! Your writing was some of the strongest this round as well. I think the real competition right now is going to be between us two, since Kitiara has already secured top spot.

I just want to explain my first part submission a little. The reason I didn't do a full out nude sex scene was because I felt that wasn't the main point of the movie. The main idea was the relationship between the two people, and how it's affected by the war and their position in that war. So just doing a steamy sex scene would make it look like it was from any porn movie, instead of actually having a deeper meaning behind it. Also, I did a movie poster, and most movie posters have at least some sense of decency since they tend to be displayed rather openly in theatres, so that's why I kept the undies on.

Rose is a hot and steamy actress with tons of romances going on, but I think that she is more of the action/fantasy/adventure/horror kind of actress. Think Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil - strong, sexy, and definitely female. I actually tried to focus on that kind of side last round, when we had to do eight different pictures.

Oh, and I suck at writing text. It's always my failing point. Arrrgh, I'll be gnawing at my fingers, anticipating for the final results...

Well, here we are. Our final three. This competition went by so much faster then I predicted, yet so much fun! It seems now more of our viewers are coming from hiding as the competition gets more intense.

Since we are in the top three, I don't see a reason to posting "scores" anymore. So I'm just going to post any comments from the judges, then give the link to the person whom is the eliminatee.

These below comments are from a single judge, directed at our final three.

Ashling Overall: You had started out slow in this competition, slowly warming up to us judges until you suddenly hit a nail on the head with your lighting. You know how the work your light you advantage, and that has always stuck out to me. But sometimes, when you captured the right mood for the scene, something little would be off and you were always so close to the top of the pack. The same has happened in this assignment. One picture hit the mark, while the other was missing something to be desired.

Queen Kitiara Overall: I don't think anyone would of predicted a warrior making it this far, and you are proving everyone wrong with a vengeance! You came in this competition willing to learn, and work your hardest. Out of everyone here, you have improved so much. At the beginning your pictures lacked a little something, and the angles and crops didn't seem to work all quite well. You even came really close to being kicked out, but you have made up for it for being in the top as well. I feel you have really excelled and you have wowed everyone here.

Rosemary Marron Overall: At the beginning of this competition you had started out slow as well, the first couple of assignments it seemed like an awkward start, like you were starting to get your barrings into this competition. And just like that, you begin to sore to the top snagging a couple of immunities away from the girls. You have gone so far, but lately you have been the girl to beat always finding a way to show off your stuff to the judges from your many boyfriends to you soaring roles as a strong and domineering woman.

Our Three remaining Contestants:

All three of these ladies are gorgeous contestants, and I am glad that our roster was filled with so many of them, yet the roster as usual must be reduced by one each week. Decisions get harder to make, especially if ones favorite gets eliminated.

All good things must come to an end, unfortunately, someones end in this competition is now. Congratulations on making it to the top three, quite a feat, but unfortunately, we had to let someone go.

Ah, it was about time =p Truth be told, I'm kind of relieved - I never expected to make it to top three, and that's enough of a victory for me =]
Best of luck to Kitiara and Rose - You both far outshone me this week and most definitely deserve to be the top two. I don't envy the judges having to choose a winner, because you both deserve it 100%
Keep it up girls, I'll be cheering you on =]

Assignment #11 "Pancake Bunny"

Breaking news from the writers in the film industry. As we all know, all the writers have gone on strike, even our beloved Bob Spellchecker.

So that leaves me, as the host of this and the judges with nothing to give you.
So, all we can do is give you a rabbit with a pancake on it's head.

So due to this, I've decided to put your last assignment, in your own hands. You choose your assignment. You choose your script (which you will have to give us), you choose your shot. You choose if you want to edit it or not.

Notes:
- No stabbing me, i did what I can with the creativity I have. Q.Q

This assignment is due Friday, November 23rd, 11:59PM GMT +5.

Oooooooooooh.... Stalker, I officially hate you now. ;D

Well, not really. Interesting assignment... I wonder if I could pull off something with the bunny and pancake. Children's movies perhaps? Too bad there's no bunny suits or pancakes in GW. :/

I think the only thing that can beat the Pancake Bunny is Union Cat. =)

But that depends on if he takes a break or not. =)

This should be a very interesting assignment and I'm looking forward to it.

PS: That sucks Kitiara, food poisoning does indeed suck ass. Hopefully it wasnt bad enough to have to go to the ER... Way too expensive to go there. -_-
