Judges Comments:
Judge One: Kitiara, what are we going to do with you? Miss "too hot to handle" no matter what assignment we throw at you! From matching color armor to background color. I felt the text was maybe a bit overdone, and a little less could be written, seems very crowded on the top part of the shot. Along with the Healing Signet symbol, although it is unavoidable to get a shot using a skill to hide the skill, but it is still possible!
Judge Two: Carrie No. 4! I just see so many good ideas in this, but they all looked VERY crammed together. The burning effect on yourself is very neat, but you have to watch the distortions it causes on your character. The scenery is beautiful, but you cut off a little too much of the trees and now it just looks like a mass of orange and black. The pose is intimidating, but the signet symbol was very distracting, and the shining hand seemed more like "fist of god," than evil. I really liked the quote you included, but again, the text was cheesy.
Guest Judge: I love the caption on this picture :]. I like how the fire adds to the enraged look, it makes it seem like you are so angry and wanting revenge that you just burst into flames.
Tasha Darke
Judges Comments:
Judge One: Once again you've done a great job! You're keeping up the good modeling and showing us the hidden talent you have! The theme you chose fits your ranger so well, you blend in with your shot, nothing overpowers you. Only thing that gets me, is the text color is a bit boring, the red doesn't match and sticks out more, other then that good job!
Judge Two: Heheheheh! I TOTALLY Saw Poison Ivy, great job executing the character! Tasha herself looks FABULOUS, very beautiful strong face, while still emitting the " Don't get near me," attitude. Great pose, great armor choice (totally amazon), and that light at your feet and vegetation just blends so well. I am very happy that you've improved so much. But I must admit, the text is really cheesy, and the only problem I had with this picture. Remember, the whole image counts, not just the super fierce, scary model!
Guest Judge: I love the pose in this picture, it looks like you are saying "This is my domain, come in and I'll kill you", and the quote says the same thing. It looks like you own the background, i just love it :].
Ashling Fey
Judges Comments:
Judge One: When I had first seen this picture, I was stunned at the fact that Ashling is usually a shy, quiet type ritualist, but now, she brought out the evil! I love the references of ashes, for the fact that ritualists use Urns in combat and such. Also it referring to a shortened version of your name. Well thought out. Although he background I felt would be overused in this assignment.
Judge Two: Carrie No. 3! The play on Ashes to Ashes with reference to Ashling was veryyy witty! However, with so many characters using fire as evil, I felt yours just didn't stand out this week. The pose is a little more diva than horror, and the lighting really didn't work in your favor. I was more drawn to the burning trees than your character. And just your hand disappears into the tree trunk and I'm just thinking to myself, HER HANDS GOING TO BURN UP! Careful when you play with fire little Ritualist!
Guest Judge: I like the taunting pose, it says to me "If you get me angry, ill light you on fire like i just did to those trees". The caption to me is great :], not only because its one of my favorite david bowie songs dry, but how ritualists use ashes, and here you are creating ashes by burning everything.
Cold Lucille
Judges Comments:
Judge One: Wow! Stunning again! This actually to me looks like it could be a real movie poster! It all fits so well, from the background, to the aura, to the armor itself. The text on it only improves the evilness this cold girl usually has, but its a dark hot evilness now!
Judge Two: Carrie no. 2!!! I totally LOVE the background. This reminds me of Mila's 7 Sins shot from TNTM cycle 2, and honestly that shot was AMAZING (and super super scary). I felt you lived up to that shot! The aura works very well here, and I'm glad you were able to use the aura to compliment the shot instead of detracting from it. The text is really nice, and the reference to "Cold," was very witty. My only slight problem with this is that the your hand is blocking your face. If you waited for just a slight millisecond, then I think you could have created a very similar pose without blocking the face. Great job.
Guest Judge: Ohhhh I like this one :] it looks like you're ready to light people who come near you on fire, and the divine aura adds to it. I love the backround too, very fitting.
Rosemary Marron
Judges Comments:
Judge One: OMG! The poor little guy, stabbing him in the face. D:
The title of this poster, short and sweet. I don't want to piss her off. Only thing that really bugs me about this shot, is the giant glove holding the sword. It's way to big! Otherwise the shot portrays the evilness within the usual shy ritualist!
Judge Two: Nuuuuu, don't kill the blind man! This poster really reminds me of the beginning of Sleepy Hollow where the victim is being chased. Rosemary also looks very scary and I think the horror aspect indeed is there. For the execution part, A few small details are lacking. For example for your plague focus, it looks like you're stabbing yourself and that made me laugh a little. As well, the silver on the victim is a little too attention grabbing, and I felt wasn't the smartest colour choice. However, that sword sure looks scary! And nice armor combo, I'm totally stealing that from you, lol. Watch out for the crazy ritualist ahhhh
Guest Judge: This one is in my opinion, the most effective of the photo's. This has to be the most evil thing you can do, beheading a blind guy! I don't care much for the title, an evil name would have made it better, but the caption is great.
Death Defyer
Judges Comments:
Judge One: When i first looked at this, the one thing that hit me first was the font. It seemed like those old black and white TV shows from way back when, when they used that font style. In todays world, that is boring, we've been more "hip'ed" up her say. I also feel that maybe there is a bit to much text on the image that you cropped, otherwise the shot looks like a shot from a horror movie. Also, the cropping of the image looks to compressed, which makes the characters seem smaller then they are.
Judge Two: As a necro, you automatically look evil! So naturally, I had high expectations for the necro's to really nail this assignment. Sadly, I must admit I am a little let down. You do look scary, and Dunkoro looks like some zombie minion, but it didn't sell as a movie poster. The Ebert Roeper thing was witty, but if you look at actual movie posters, it is usually done like this:
Two VERY enthusiastic Thumbs Up!"
- Ebert & Roeper
It is a small detail, but instead of making this poster seem more real, it just made me distance myself and correct the mistake. As well, the text is cheeesy. I totally see Rocky Horror Picture Show instead of a horror movie. However, I guess I must applaud you for matching your armor to the background, as thats a very important note to remember. Next time, please be weary of the overall appeal of the poster/shot, instead of one aspect of it.
Guest Judge: The font is kind of a bit cheesy, but the position that she is in, holding the sword as the old man dunkoro is begging for his life, it seems like she is about to slash that sword across his neck. The background is nice, but it looks like you just traveled to a volcano to cut his head off. The Ebert and Ropert quote is great, if they say its good, it must be a great movie!
Sue Aside
Judges Comments:
Judge One: Hot, hot hot. Literally. Shes so hot here, the text is even smoking in her presence. This is the Sue Aside we saw in assignment 1, but lost in assignment 2. The fire casts a nice dark shadow on your face, which hides detail on it, making your lovely character look evil, even though she really couldn't be! Another thing that i loved was the fact that the armor blended in so well with the fire itself. It looks like the fire is "one" with the clothing, great job!
Judge Two: Carrie no.1 AHHHH! The Stephen King movie totally popped up in my head when I saw the flames blanketing Sue Aside. Unfortunately for you, the choice of fire as "evil," was very prominent this week. Fortunately, I think you pulled it off well and stood out from the pack. The lighting on your face is absolutely beautiful, and really adds on the horror aspect. The flame is really quite in the perfect position as well, without blocking out your face, but slithering past your right shoulder. Good timing! The text wasn't cheesy. armor colour choice was smart. What can I say? Another solid job.
Guest Judge: I like this one a lot. It has great lighting, and it looks like she is one with the fire, Lady of the fire ohmy
? I also like the angry pose, as if she is cursing somebody.
Eryn Shadowbane
Title:
Red Anguish
starring Eryn Shadow
'Who dares to trespass?'
Judges Comments:
Judge One: You had always mentioned you where better with more evil, dark things then you where with romance and such. So I had expected you to excel here. I had expected a really dark gloomy scene, that portrayed a very evil sin, but I guess I expected to much. Although my expectations weren't met, you did meet the expectations of this assignment! The Paragon fits well into its background, which is a decently evil place to take a shot, and it coordinates with your dark skin more. Dark enough to show evil, but light enough to not ruin the shot!
Judge Two: I must commend you for your choice of background. I felt it was one of the more creative choices this week, and just the way you matched your armor to the black spikey's was very clever. To be able to make an angelic paragon look evil is quite hard, and I felt you pulled it off quite well. A concern I found was on the left side, you could clearly see a red pointy thing sticking into the image. It is just a small detail, but it still detracted from the whole image. So in other words, just watch the cropping next time and make sure every single itsy bitsy detail is excellent. Good job!
Guest Judge: The background is very fitting for an evil look, but the pose i think is kind of awkward. It looks like you are flexing for a muscle show or something. I do like the armor though, the skullish looking design on it makes it look like armor made especially for an evil person!
Sali Sue
One line title: Once they go in, they never come out.
Judges Comments:
Judge One: I feel that your armor here is not fitting to this setting at all. It's in my opinion WAY to distracting, and possibly makes this theme harder to understand. A random spec of green blob, in a dark background. I also thought that maybe a more "seductive" armor choice could have been used. The assignment though, still executed very well, for it does show a sin!
Judge Two: I really liked the idea of the Black Widow!! And yes, I did get the cave, and the seduction etc, etc. However, I think the execution of this shot was mediocre. I felt the green outfit was very out of place, and really not very seductive or evil at all. As well, before I read your blurb, I thought you were giving the finger to Oogami! Overall, I felt the idea was great, but the execution fell a little flat.
Guest Judge: The armor choice isn't flattering, enchanters just doesn't really stand out. If you're trying to lure somebody into a dark scary cave of no return, i would try a for lack of better term, "SHINEYYYY" armor set, maybe Elite Canthan for shineyness, or Elite Enchanters for a seductive look.
In no special order.

Well, here we are, the end of assignment 3. I bet you're all anxiously awaiting these late results. Firstly I suggest EVERYONE in the contest reads this post carefully.
You may have noticed in the submitted shots, yes Emma was not in there. Why? She had NOT sent in her assignment. We feel it is because she has been in the elimination bracket in both assignment 1, and 2, and she felt that she could not step up her game, and continue forward, instead leaving us with another bogus elimination.
Here are the scores.
Emma Fox - 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 (UP FOR ELIMINATION)
Death Defyer - 3 + 3 + 2 = 8 (UP FOR ELIMINATION)
Sali Su - 2 + 4 + 3 = 9
Queen Kitiara - 4 + 6 + 4 = 14
Eryn Shadowbane - 6 + 2 + 9 = 17
Rosemary Marron - 5 + 8 + 5 = 18
Ashling Fey - 7 + 5 + 6 = 18
Cold Lucille - 8 + 10 + 7 = 25
Tasha Darke - 10 + 7 + 8 = 26 (UP FOR IMMUNITY)
Sue Aside - 9 + 9 + 10 = 27 (UP FOR IMMUNITY)
Current Immunity Holder: You have lost your immunity for assignment 4. It shall be assigned to the next person who has won the immunity.
Eliminatees:
Emma Fox
Death Defyer
Emma Fox: It was half expected that you would not turn in an assignment. Although some of us hoped you would come through and at least go out with honor, but you chose not too. I myself was really disappointed that you did not turn anything in.
Death Defyer: We felt that you as a Necro should have been on top of this assignment like stick on rice, but it was the exact opposite. Maybe it was just bad luck, we hope you can do better in future assignments!
Immunities:
Sue Aside - Another Stunning performance just like assignment 1. We missed that in assignment 2, where we thought you would excel. We hope you can keep up the good work, and talent you bring tot he table.
Tasha Darke - Congratulations. Top 2 on 2 assignments in a row. You should feel proud. I hope you have broke out of your shell from assignment one, and can continue your good work with future assignments!
Elimination - One person has to go, and this week, was another obvious one sad to say.

Now: On to the more important part of this post. I personally am getting tired of putting all this hard work into this contest, and so far all I've really gotten to show from my contestants thus far is "I'm going to slack, or not even going to submit a picture because I cannot take criticism."
I don't want to do this but if this continues further, I am completely willing to close this competition. I didn't pick the lot of 12 of you out of my applications just so that I can watch you quit because you don't think you can "cut it".
It takes a lot for me to get angered, and if I have to put so much work into something, and not even receive half the work back from you guys, then it isn't fun anymore. I'm basically on the last straw on people leaving the competition. I hope you all realize that this is here for fun, yes you may not like what judges have to say, but thats the reason why you signed up for this in the first place!
Now get out there and please, make Bob and I proud!

Congratulations Tasha! Your shot was spot on. There were tons of other great evil ladies this round too, it was amazing seeing what everyone had come up with.
I'm disappointed that already people are showing such lack of respect for the contest and the entertainment that it's meant to be. Please, please PLEASE when you participate in screenshot contests on the forum, make sure you're able to take criticism and stay proudly in the contest until the end! It might not be as glamorous as you imagined at first (yes, surprisingly screenshotting can be a lot of hard work) but it's not fair towards other contestants that you drop out in the middle just because you got bored/couldn't handle the feedback.
Frankly, I think that in TNTS the judges have been very nice and polite about comments. I have not seen any unjust or mean comments at all. They, along with Slayer, are doing a wonderful job at hosting such a fun competition, and I hope it won't be ruined because of a few people who decided they just couldn't handle it.
Here's looking forward to the next assignment eagerly.

Morag D
Tasha, your shot is absolute genius! where did you possibly find this location? I also very much liked Tori's and Pery's!
I'm not sure I understand this commotion about lack of morale... ok might be my personal problems of emigrating make me blind for everything else, and I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, but I still think most of the ladies put a lot of effort into this competition (myself included, even if I always feel very tired these days). the judges' comments have been very sensitive, they really try to find good things about every shot, and even if I do not always agree with their decisions it's not my/OUR place to complain/nag/slack - it was our own decision to enter, after all.
bring on the next challenge!

Looking at the other contestants entries, the judges must have had a tough choice! They were all so good! I'm amazed I got top spot - I was feeling really confident about the shots I took on Tuesday, but by the time I felt happy enough to submit it I was really nervous.
I share Perynne's feelings of disappointment of others not showing the contest the respect it deserves. Ok, stuff happens, life changes and you can't predict what new life crisis will demand your time, but stepping aside because you get bored or can't handle the feedback isn't fair on those who give up their time organising the competition, and to the others participating or didn't make it to start with. I sincerely hope that the contest will continue and run its course.
Can't wait to see what the next assignment is. *spams refresh all day*
Edit: Seems Morag posted as I was writing mine. The shot was taken inside Rragar's Menagerie, level 1 as you head right from the dungeon entrance. Near the end of that tunnel is where I took the shot.

I think this is definitely the most interesting and well organized of all the screenshot contests up to date. Quality assignments, quality judges and critique.
Hmm, but! Now we've only got our most dedicated contestants left, aye?
And congrats to Tasha for star of the week!

I must compliment whole heartedly at how tactful and useful the judges critiques are...I must say that before I even applied and looked at the threads for TNTM I was seriously scared for the harsh critiques for all the world to see. That truly is not the case here and we are certainly most lucky! I pledge to step up my game (even though I swear I try so hard every time!) to let the judges see we appreciate them as well as Stalker for putting on this cool competition - I don't have a clue how hard it is to run this, I didn't realize it (running TNTS) took so much more work than doing the screenshots - which I must say has shocked me how much work it can be when getting so picky- lol- but nevertheless u have my respect guys- please don't be discouraged, if Noana is right - hopefully you'll see a total 180 for this week
Grats Tasha! Guys everyone is upping their game- some great shots! and I just pray to see immunity once - I know I'm in with a group of expert screenshotters or shall I say "Superstars" - I'm glad to be hanging with ya all and am learning so much from you and the judges!
Looking forward to more kick butt pics for next week!

It's not right that Stalker and the judges have to work so hard coming up with critiques and assignments and then when the assignment is due there is someone who didnt send theirs in making it not suspensful and leaving their hard work for nothing as well as ours (even though I still love seeing everyones piece). I just think as everyone else said we gotta show the judges respect, cause I mean your the one who signed up for this contest, it is fair for everyone else.
ON A SIDE NOTE! Tasha yours was magnificent!!! And I don't say that to anyone. It was so clever taking the role as Poison Ivy, your scenery as well as you fit the part sooo well. Great job to everyone, really great.
Close call for me though =/ No more cheesy writing, i'm not good at adding font. Hehe and I liked the font too.

Contrats Tasha! I loved your romantico assignment picture as well as this one, you deserved it!
I too agree with what everyone else has posted before me. I was also worried that the judges would have harsher criticisms (theres usually always one minor simon cowell eh?) but none of them I have gotten so far (or have seen) have been harsh at all! I really hope this contest isn't closed although I can understand the frustration. I'm assuming its not only because of Emma but because of the other ele that submitted theirs late? (Or I'm assuming anyway since there were no judges comments)
Great pics to the rest of you as well, can't wait to see the next challenging assignment!

Assignment #4 “Public Eye”
Aloha!! Bob Spellchecker is back from Sunny Ol’ Hawaii and checking in with our lovely stars.
Some of you girls sure know how to put your freak face on. The next time Quentin Taratino needs to cast for a psycho and gorey film, I bet he would take up one of you lovely girls.
Now, we’ve seen your funny side, your romantic persona, and even your horror talents. Those have all been masks you’ve donned in order to advertise a film and to showcase your acting talents. Fortunately for you (OR unfortunately), this week you will get to be yourself! Kind of.
Stars are only famous because of their fans. And it is a fact that rumors and publicity can help make or break one’s career. For this week, TTS productions will assign each of you girls with a specific marketing ploy in which you will have to stir some controversy under the public eye. Really, you will be acting the role of yourself over the course of this week and use this publicity to boost your career. If you succeed, you will be a Star forever and be recorded in history for your acting AND your personal controversies. If you fail, then you might as well quit the industry all together for bad publicity can ruin the best performances!
You will have to provide us with a paparazzi shot of you being caught under the public eye. Be it smooching of with someone else’s beau, throwing cellphones (or wanding) a maid, you will have to provide us with a photograph of your public exposure. I have heard of good paparazzo that goes by the name of Stalker. He can be contacted for further help on getting the best possible paparazzi shot.
On top of that, be sure to include a newspaper or magazine article about your situation. A short paragraph is sufficient but please include a headliner
Example: Lokii Bares All!!!!
While tanning in Kamadan City for her annual vacation, International sensation Lokii has been caught wearing all but her undergarments! With complaints from local women about Lokii’s lack of clothing, the star was forced to leave the city under local scrutiny. Rep’s have yet to comment on Lokii’s spontaneous actions!
Good luck being little troublemakers, my little stars!
Side notes:
1 picture of Star caught in embarrassing situation. (Will be E-mailed to each individual)
1 Write up of the situation and a headliner. (50-150 words is enough)
Headgear is allowed Keep to a minimal)
This assignment is due NO later then Saturday, September 22nd, 11:59PM GMT -5.

Btw, I must say I like the "change" that the deadlines are now on Saturdays --makes it much convenient for me to take shots, because my weeks are now totally filled with work and school x_X.
Also loving the new assignment, this competition really has some healthy self-irony

Yeah, i tried to get into a cycle of having them due on the same day every week. It seemed Saturday was a good idea, so Sunday we can give the judges and I a day to prepare the judgment, and my photoshopping. :P

Well here we are. All of our stars got in trouble this week, and now, we still show the public what they've done!
Eryn Shadowbane
6. Caught being a Diva. (Laughing at noobs, dismissing maids, demanding things).
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Oooh, I always knew she was a diva...but bubble bath. That surprised me! I really do like the layout you have here, and truely looks like a cut out article that is in those first few pages of a magazine that gives the summary of all the articles. Very well, put together and it fits the theme that you were assigned which was to act Diva-ish. You do, however, have to realize when making a paparazzi photo you have to realize that the photo is the first thing anyone sees. If you don't have a good photo no one will want to read the article or even the snippet of the article. The article is perfect and rather interesting, but the photo...eh its alright..not bad or good.
Judge 2: Well Done! The picture was one of the best this week, for me. It almost seemed as if the paparazzi was hidden far behind emperor kisu, and gives a great sense of voyeurism. Eryn's pose is truly diva, and the only regret I have over this picture is Kisu's stoicism. As well, on an editing level, you wrote:
"Emperor Kisu was left foaming," and I'm guessing you meant fuming? It's a small detail, but impacts the overall package.
Judge 3: This picture is hawt in a way. The story only adds to the fact that Eryn is a stuck up Diva. From the bloopers, you posted I knew we where going to get a good shot from Eryn this week, and we did! I only hope that we see more of Eryn like this in the future, because this shot looks very promising, and it looks like you're starting to get the themes done much better then before!
Ashling Fey
4. Caught abusing animals, indecent treatment of pets. (Mini pets!! Or Get a ranger secondary and catch a pet!)
UPSTAGED?
Miss Ashling Fey, having consumed a little too much Rice Wine, was caught 'teaching a lesson' to a rare phoenix whose attire she felt was causing more of a stir than her own designer outfit at Emperor Kisu's annual 'Heroes of Cantha' party this week. She later apologised for the incident, confessing; "I don't know what came over me!" The phoenix is recovering from its beating in the care of famous beastmaster Zho, who was also present.
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Haha! I really enjoyed the article, it was witty, and I LOVED the references to the beastmaster, made it more like a real incident. And ritualists have easily the best armor in the game, so having a phoenix upstage you must have been awful! Beat that phoenix, girl. Anyway, your picture is fairly effective, but poorly cropped. You could have easily cropped away the whole right area, because right now, its just too unfocused. If you look at magazine ones, the paparazzi shots really aren't aesthetically pleasing (though the stars are... most of the time), they just focus entirely on the star and the incident at hand. The pose is great, the humour is there, the realism is there. Overall, good job! Just watch for cropping next time.
Judge 2: When I read that someone had to abuse animals for her paparazzi shot I was ready to laugh and was excited to see this person's entry. I have to admit it gave me a giggle that fashion queen Ashling Fey would punch out a bird for having a more vibrant attire than she did.But like all the entries I looked at the picture first, and I felt confused by the picture and how it was abusing the animal. Maybe I'm just a little slow, but I thought if you scooted in a little more it would of looked like it.
Judge 3: Ha! Get the bird! I mean umm....yeah....:P...The article was amusing, and when I first saw the picture, I was caught giggling about it. It was very enjoyable shot and article with it. Only problem, cropping. I feel it was WAY over cropped, and could have been cropped to focus more on you and the bird, otherwise, I started looking into the background and noticing random things, like the henchman in the back. Otherwise, good shot, good article, work on cropping.
Queen Kitiara
7. Caught dancing or partying in an inappropriate situation/area. (A religious area in GW, next to a shrine, for example)
Kitiara Told To Hex-Off!!!
The insults and chants were flying in the Temple of the Unseen when Tyria's Next Top Superstar contestant Queen Kitiara decided to argue with worshipers over sacrilegious dancing by the statues! The angry mob was seen shouting hexes while Kitiara claimed to be "dancing for artistic purposes" necessary for her next TNTS assignment. Her personal manager refused to comment whether the absinthe she was drinking was for artistic purposes as well!
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Just by looking at the picture, I didn't fully get it was a dance off. It really looked more like a Diva going "speak to the hand!" After reading the article, which was well written (loved the note "personal manager," I finally understood the dance off. You did seem to have a difficult situation, but I think a few of your past flaws showed up again. Way too many symbols flying about. It made me look at the party instead of focusing on queen. Next time, really try a minimalistic approach, I ensure you, it'll be great with your hawt hawt warrior!
Judge 2: It doesn't look like you are dancing at all in the picture. When I first looked at it, it seemed perfect for a picture for a Top Superstar who had gotten in a fight and simply said "no comment". Reading your snippet of the article, I couldn't help but laugh. This assignment of your was really well put together and I can see why you choose to use that shot for your article. The shot looks like it was the after effect of the incident in question. Love the pose! It works brilliantly, but you have to be aware that you were supposed to be caught dancing.
Judge 3: My first impression, and from the reputation Mrs. Kitiara has given herself, is a "whatever" style attitude from this shot. I love that part of it, but thats not what the assignment is about though. The writeup made me giggle, was amusing to read, then looking at the picture was fun to see again as well. Once again you used skills to portray a glittery effect, I think maybe that it doesn't much amplify your picture, and only poses as a distraction. You always have a lot going on in your shots, which is sometimes good, sometimes bad, maybe try a different approach, and see what happens then!
Cold Lucille
Caught under the influence of Alcohol. (Alcoholic effects may be used,
but be weary of clarity)
'Kegs of Love'
Rising star Cold Lucille has been seen associating with the notorious
Vabbian drunkard, Zilo, and witnesses to the nocturnal meetings have
also reported the presence of the infamous Zilo's Keg. Indecent
behavior and obscene shouts of "I love you, man!" have agitated the
neighborhood, and the two have been taken into custody by the local guard.
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Very nice job. again. I'm glad you didn't go overboard with the alcoholic effect, as that would have been a strong temptation. I feel this shot is just sooo subtle, very good paparazzi shot. As well the article was very creative, and the references to GW alcoholic quotes were a nice touch. Just a few spelling mistakes, but really this is another solid job.
Judge 2: Ooo Scandal. Is one of our little superstar's already causing alot of troule by being arrested already? Hehe, I love this shot. You did so well trying to capture the effects of alcohol without ruining the picture at all. It has that fuzzy feeling, that makes it look like a drunken fan was reading this article. This picture did catch my attention, and would instantly read it if Stalker would give me the magazine. My only problem with it, is the darkness. Not that your Lucille is hidden(how could she be?), but your supporting character is, which it is really hard to see his face.
Judge 3: Omg, get a room! The article including the shot was amusing. I enjoyed reading it very much. Only thing that bugs me is the actual drunk effect. It makes the image seem a little to wavy for my liking. Maybe if you would have waited 30 seconds more for it to dim slightly, would it have gotten better, but maybe not. I'd have to test the drunk effect next time I get some ale!
Rosemary Marron
5. Caught in a heated argument with boyfriend/girlfriend. (Imagine a real life break up situation, and try to capture that in the shot.)
While visiting the notorious Xaquang Skyway shopping area, Rosemary and her current lover Puddin Hornblower break down into a heated argument in public. Paparazzis are shocked to see these two going at it, shouting from the top of their voices and ignoring the shocked crowd gathering around them.
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Awesome shot, bad write up. I mean, there really isn't anything to say about the shot. The proportions are perfect, great angles, great focus, good cropping. And like the other judge mentioned, the hidden face of the lover only creates more suspense, which is always good for tabloids. But the write up is rather bland, and seems really generic. Tabloid articles normally have exaggerated truths just to get readers reading, and this is just a little too "normal." You're a star, remember!
Judge 2: This one I immediatly caught on what this paparazzi shoot was all about. Fight with a lover and very upfront about it. I do like the attitude out of both of them, and I like how the camera angle is perfectly perportioned to face Rosemary rather than the lover. Which adds a bit of mystery about this Puddin Hornblower (best name ever xD). Although I would of loved to see his eyes at some point. (and his number?) And exactly how many lovers does Rosemary have?
Judge 3: I would agree on the writeup being slightly boring. The shot is stunning, I love how Rosemary is right up in his face, telling him how it is. I bet he didn't like the "car ride" home, if he even rode in the same one. As another judge stated, how many lovers does Rose actually have? She must be one slamming chicka to have a different man to yell at every week! :P
Sue Aside
2. Caught wearing only undergarments in a public area. (Indecent exposure, etc.)
Sue Aside: Starlet on the run!
Sue Aside was rejected entry into the Superstar Seborhin club by Vabbian bouncer Mr.X, who reported that she was wearing, "Less then decent clothing fit for this kind of club." As a result, Sue was spotted stripping down to her underwear in protest, running around and streaking in front of hundreds of club-goers. Mr.X promptly showed her off the premises, and Sue Aside has been charged with indecent exposure.
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: Crazy Sue. The angles leave something to be desired, and I never knew Sue was that tall! The cropping as well wasn't the best choice because the shot we're seeing right now, doesn't reflect the article. The article is creative, witty and well written, but the picture doesn't show that. Right now the picture almost looks as if a guard was trying to pin down the runaway Sue, instead of the dismissal you wrote about.
Judge 2: This picture looked very odd at first glance, with proportions of Sue's body compared to the onlooker that was pointing. I wish I would of seen the full version of this photo to see where each of them are standing. Or is Sue really that tall? I loved the article snippet which proved very funny, and very odd for Sue to do because she couldn't get into a club. Would of loved a better angle for this picture though.
Judge 3: "Sue Aside running, and a guard pointing out the streaker" is what I saw when I saw this picture. The story I felt didn't match well with the image, which could have been taken better. Maybe more of an upward angle to make you less "tall" and it would have fixed some of the body proportions I think. I've noticed that you tend to do well a few assignments, and not so well on others. I really hope you find your happy medium soon and try to amaze us more, like you did in assignment #1.
Tasha Darke
1. Caught attacking a fan (Guild Members, NPC’s, Human Like Enemies.)
“ As her guild celebrated International Talk like a Pirate Day this week, Tasha Darke decided to fend off an offending gatecrasher at the party. Miss Darke, who was seen to be consuming Norn-like quantities of ale at the event, attacked the fan after a brief, but heated, exchange of words. Tasha’s spokesperson played down the incident, excusing Tasha’s actions as being “in character for the occasion” and describing the star as being “very much a character based actress”. Outside sources have confirmed that the offending guest was the same gentleman who was escorted off a recent movie shoot. No charges have as yet been raised by either Miss Darke or the gentleman in question. ”
Judge 1: An awesome picture, that's for sure. Normally, I would scream "TOO MUCH, just TOO MUCH." But for this, everything works perfectly. I can see the party in the background, and then the punch as the main focus. This was executed impeccably. The article was very formal, may be something you would see in the newspaper, not the tabloids. I loved the "character based actress," as that only made Tasha that much more memorable. You are becoming a force to be reckoned with, Tasha.
Judge 2: This really made me laugh, at the fact that Tasha was so in character that she punched a party crasher. I just kept wondering, dont pirates stab rather than punch? Hehe but its a rather imfamous picture you have here. It showed there was a party in the background, and the punch that took place. It looks a little crowded, you could of cropped the picture a little bigger, but otherwise its a really good paparazzi shoot.
Judge 3: Wammo got nailed! Just like your assignment. You still continue to amaze me with good another good assignment! From not so good shots to begin, to being top 2 in a row and getting immunity. But more on the shot though. I felt that the cropping could have been done at a more upward angle, to where it is looking down at you and the Wammo more. The pirate theme made this really amusing to read, especially with the combined shot. Good job again.
Sali Su
Caught protesting/complaining in a public situation/event. (Using /pout for example.)
Sali Su and her most recent boy toy have been spotted spending some time together on holiday on some the many beaches of Kryta. An Eye witness reported that on several occasions Sali through "childish little tantrums" because things didn't go her way and was even heard declaring "Not good enough!", when presented with a meal cooked for her by her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, believed to be known as Xandreus Alvarin, is a young, aspiring male model with no real credits to his name. Are Sali Su's standards in men slipping? With her career showing little sign of improving, and her 40th creeping ever closer, how is this aging diva going to get break into the limelight? Story continues page 49....
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: OMGOD, this is totally channeling Madonna. I can just imagine her now, "not good enough, NOT good enough!!" Overall, this is a very pretty shot, but the cropping is a little troublesome. Everything else about it is fine. The article is also very well written, and gives a lot of insight to Sali Su and her "incident." It's good enough for me.
Judge 2: This has got to be the most entertaining article that I have read so far. This could almost count as Diva attitude here, from the picture of her pouting as her boy toy is running to go satisfy her. I believe this was really well done, from the article to the picture. The only problem you could of cropped the right side of the photo a little more in. Not a real big problem though. And wow I didn't know she was almost 40, which really answers my theory that prophecies mesmers all look like milfs.
Judge 3: I'm glad to see you're working harder on your assignments! I enjoyed the story very much that was attached to this article, I wanted to read more, but my page 49 was missing. Only thing really is the cropping is maybe to wide. Maybe a bit more cut off from the right side, but still enough there to be able to see the beach. I just hope we see more of Sali like this in the future!
Death Defyer
9. Caught in an embarrassing outfit, a fashion victim. (Clashing armor, the ugliest armor combination POSSIBLE!)
"Too Tired to see her Own Clothes?"
Torn in a hype about her all new Demonic clothes line, Death Defyer seems to be choosing her clothes blind-sighted! Maybe just a costume in time for the Mad King, Death Defyer seems to be wearing a bone made Crown, that must of just came right out of King Jalis Ironhammer's closet! You can also see a cheap color-clashing chest and leg piece. What surprises us most is that she is sporting tattoo sleeves! Caught yawning outside of her remote Autumn-esque townhouse, Death Defyer should stick to her normal attire rather than getting ready for the Halloween Festival.
Judges Comments:
Judge 1: I believe you were given the most outrageous situation out of all the contestants. And I only wish you had even more fun with it! The hat really does scream "fashion victim," but the rest of your attire is actually quite pretty! And I mean, necro's have scars armor, and I just expected more from you again. However, your article has some umph with it, and gives a good sense that its from a tabloid.
Judge 2: The picture screams "Queen of the Damned laughing about her accomplished plan!" I was interested enough to read the snippet, but was totally surprised by which theme you had to go with. Since your armor choices were all the same color, it was kind of hard to see the mix-match of armor at first glance. Not only that, but your shot was zoomed into much, not allowing us to see the whole outfit. I can see why you can be called a fashion victim, that hat. I wouldn't be caught dead in that hat. But its not the most horrible combination I've seen (take a hint from the warriors thread ). And stay out of King Jalis's closet!
Judge 3: I don't really know what to say. I expected more from this shot. I felt it was probably one of the easiest out of all the ones assigned to the contestants. I don't play Necro much, so I couldn't tell that the armor you are wearing is actually different armor, instead to me it looks like the same set. It could have brought out more I think if you would have used some random ugly Necro armors, there are a few out there. The helm is the only thing I see that is considered a "horrible" fashion statement.

Scores will most likely be posted tomorrow!
Perynne
Ah, stumbled on the writeup... I think I was so tired on Saturday after a week of insanely busy school that I totally didn't think what I was writing. Oh well, I'm not much of a tabloid reader anyway. I prefer being the paparazzi who takes the shots, and then let someone else deal with the text. The shot speaks for itself!
(and lessee, I think Rose goes through men like a fashion model goes through clothes - gone in 60 seconds)
Haha, and I just love some of the other writeups along with photos. We are some very naughty celebrities!
Can't wait for the scores!
