For Bog Skale Fins:

Solo farm them with Elementalist. Outside LA, to the east in the swamp. The place is crawling with em and they are lower level then those outside of Fishermens. Its easy to group them in bundles of 10-15 and then 2 casts of Searing Flames they are dead. At least its much less boring then the Fishermens Farm.

For Skree Wings:
So far I have been unable to find a good solo build. Usually the Griffin in the group makes it very durable against solofarms. And if its not the Griffin, its the distracting shot that takes out your farming skills. :S

The standard E/A or A/E Shadow Form/Sliver Armor build works wonders with the giant mob of skree that spawns with the quest "Desperate Measures". The damage from SA easily overcomes the healing by griffins and protection by skree singers.

There is about 20 to 30 moa birds in this one area of the asura. Maybe you have to go there.

You realise collectors items are suject to loot scaling, right? And that by doing it solo you're just making the process take longer?

True, but the loot scaling isnt proportional to the group size. Thus you have an slightly elevated chance of getting the, but its not 8x higher.

Have to have Zho's book, then go to Cavalon and talk to Captain by turtle then go to Gayla Hatchery to talk to Katharine. She needs 50 spiritwood planks, 10 steel, and 5 plat to get the kit....

Its not customized. It works like a mini pet.

In order to get ti you need:

- 1 Moa Egg from Regent Valley which must be turned into an Hardened Moa Egg in Mournign Veil Falls
- 1 Herring for 5 Bog Scale Fins in Twin Serpent Lake
- 1 Nesting Material for 5 Skree Wings in Vabbi
- 1 Honeycomb from Eye of the North (I got mine from the quest that gets you Ursan Blessing pve skill, but i hear theres a NPC that will give you one if your rank 4 Norn in Gunnars Hold)
- 1 Branch of Juni Berries from Kourna (Chunos Quests in Ronjok)
- 1 Incubator from Katherine in Gyla (You msut speak to the Captain NPC in Cavalon. The Incubator is crafted for 5k,50 Spirtwood Planks and 10 Steel Ingots and has slots for all the items in it)

I'm not sure if you need it or not but Zho when defeated in the norn Arena will give you a Journal that gives clues to the steps. For the final step you need to have access to the quest Final Assasault in Sorrows Furnace. This gives you access to the furnace heart. Walk around the furnace until it begins to fire up.

I actually went to the Iron Forgeman at this point through frustration but he used Sorrows Flame on me and the Black Moa took the place of the Incubator in my inventory. But i am told theres actually an effect you get from walking around the furnace which puts the hex Sorrows Flame on you. Ether way one or the other triggers the mini pet.

The secret of the Moa Eggs is actually as follows (don't listen to the above posters, as they are obviously lying to you!!111!111one):

1. Lay down a Flame Trap or three.
2. Drop the Moa Egg in the center of the traps, or you know, somewhere in the AoE radius.
3. Aggro something, pull it onto the traps.

And there you go! Your Moa Egg will boil in the blood of your enemies, supplying you with a tasty lunch!

Another question about getting to face Zho. Is it random when he will face you? I'm not exactly good at soloing with my elementalist and I doubt I'll make it far into the tournament.

Yep, totally random. I had to do the tourny 4 times before I finally got her. At 100g a start.
And, Zho is a she.....

She was my instructor at Shing Jei when I started GW.

I think you need it, because i don't have it(not received gwen yet) and i can't get any info from captain in cavalon which means i can't craft in Gyala.

My friend has GWEn, but not the FA quest, and I dont have GWEN but have FA quest (plus the rest of the ingredients x2), so we gonna try if we can swap some stuff to do the quest combined.

Still stuck at getting 8 more Skree Wings though...

any idea if theres a limit to the number of pets per character? or if they are customized? Can a person without FA join in group with someone with FA?
