You know, moas went extinct because people were cooking them and destroying their nests. Way to go people!

All these things have been recently added and it would be a way for ANET to thank those who have purchased each chapter if that's what this is about and if it's a hoax well can't say we didn't all have fun on this scavenger hunt. But new content added to every chapter and randomly placed every where doesn't seem like any broken quest
I'll run around with a black moa and these items in inventory for awhile and see what happens ![]() |
And yeah... thanking the people who have bought all three campaigns might be a reason for spreading the materials across all three continents, but I also think encouraging those who haven't yet done so to do so just might be a driving force in this mystery as well.

If I have to have a black moa as my personal pet to get a baby moa, I'm going to commit multiple first degree homicide. I've had my pet moa since day one of GW, and I wouldn't give him up if they came out with an expansion that let me tame fifty-foot-long dragons. Giving him up is probably the only thing I wouldn't do to get a cute baby moa. Luckily, I don't expect this will be a requirement. ^_^ |

ok, i have found out what to do:
1. Get the egg
2. Take it to get 'Hardened' at Mourning Veil Falls
3. Collect the herring, Some Ice from Sorrows Furnace and the Nesting material.
4. Proceed to the Fire islands, and drop all these items on the volcanic rocks.
5. Wait 5mins and a bit of text appears saying 'The Moa Egg Is starting to move and a crack appears in the surface!'
6. Pick up the egg and take it to Katharine in Gyala Hatchery.
7. She gives you a message telling you to take the Egg to the Guards out side Sunspear Great hall.
8. Once at the guards they run around and for about two mins dont say anything, then one of them says 'look that egg is starting to hatch!'
9. Then check your infantry and it will be there
all credit goes to me and Leeky Baby who helped me work this out and has got one himself!
PM Either of us ingame to see our pets!

Donky_g I guess you like jokes like "OMG Sigils are 100 K now!"
I don't... people here try to figure something out where you might profit as well from... stop the bs.
Cheers,
