Ranger Pet Stable?
Havanah Blast
I'm wondering if rangers would like a place to store all their pets? I've had this idea for awhile, and the Hall of Monuments makes me think it wouldn't be unreasonable to pull off. So, one day my guildy might feel like her black moa, the next she wants to use her new white moa, a little stable or petting zoo for her ranger pets would really make this possible!

Personally i'd love to be able to switch pets, so if it's votes you're arter,

Having the ability to have multiple pets would be great. Say if your going to have a parabuffer with you, Anthem of flame etc, bring your Black Bear pet because it activates it for an added bonus. Then switch to another pet when your done again. I like my new Eagle I got, but I would of liked to keep my lv 20 pet as well. And im sure rangers who put in the time/money for a Widow would want to stable it to go get a new GW:EN pet for sure.

As much as I'd like a hyena for my ranger, I don't want to lose her white tiger permanently. The ability to stable with the pet tamers (for a small fee) would be great.

This was the original Pet kennel concept since before prophecies went gold. just was never implemented... Was asked for again as a Guild hall service back when Factions came out... I do not think we will get it but I'll put a vote for it all the same good luck...

There are too many nice animals to choose from...I want more...and I feel too much loyalty to my tiger, The Colonel, to replace him...

I have always agreed that we need a place to keep ranger pets. I dont want to give up my UW spider but would love to have a pheonix. I think we should be able to let them run wild at the guild hall. When we want to swap pets for a change of pace, talk to an NPC and get your wanted pet. Cho has enough of our pets. I want to keep mine, and have a couple extra. Put a limit as to how many we can have (limit 5 say, just as a number). Give us a guild manger please.

This is a mechanic from "That Other Game" (WoW) that would be most welcome here, even, as some suggest, a guild hall or Hall of Monuments upgrade. A single stable slot that can be increased with additional gold would be great. I finally managed to train a dire pet, and do not want to get rid of him, even with all the great new pets (caribou ftw!).

Nobody that's ever played a beastmaster for ten seconds is going to say "no" to this idea.
Sadly, the fact that it has a 100% approval rating doesn't make it any more likely to come true.
But, /yes from me, too, just for the record.

I like it the way it is. I've had my black widow Ungoliant on my ranger (main char) for about a year and a half and as much as I want a black wolf, I don't like the idea of having it both ways. I know it's just a game, but you expect pets to be loyal to a degree, the very least you could do is show some yourself. I like change sometimes but in this case I like things the way they are.
I know I know, it really sucks when someone comes in and /not signs something you really really would like.

If they wanted loyalty etc they would of implemented some sort of display showing your bond with your animal companion, and they would of added more functions for feeding the pet, grooming it etc. Instead, they haven't, making the pet only good for its looks.
Being able to have more than one pet that you can swap freely from your guild hall or HoM would be ideal for anybody who has played beastmaster because of the fact of seeing the same old pet all the time makes playing builds with beastmastery less and less desirable. its always nice to change up your skill bar, why not your pet? but of course, changing your pet to spice up beastmastery means you either have to get a black widow, death level or actual go and level up your pet, which all 3 are a pain. Adding in something buyable(buy per stable slot) that would store pets for you would help make beastmastery rangers more enjoyable to play.
Im thinking if anything, 5 pets would be too much to ask for, but 2-3 extra slots to hold a maximum of 3 pets would certainly be nice

Phoenix Tears
signet, we need the possibility to have every pet, that we tamed ...
i don#t understand, why anet simple makes not out of the tame skill a stupid signet skill, like the signet of capturing.
Then its the Signet of Beast Mastery.
Ever when u tame then a different pet with such a signet, the signet changes to a Skill that includes the tamed pet and the signet disapears for it and the player has then to buy a new signet at the npc, like buying a new signet of capturing.
This way, every different pet becomes then a different "Skill" and with this pay it would be possible finally in an easy way to make out of beast masters real beast masters, which could run around with 3 different pets.
Example:
I want catch following 3 pets (spoiler includes new gw:en ones)
- Mountain Eagle
- Black Wolve
- White Wolve
So i buy me form the npc 3 Signets of Beast Mastery
My Build: 7x Skill X + Signet of Beast Mastery.
I find now my Mountain Eagle and catch it... the Signet changes now into the Skill "Moutain Eagle-Fellow"
Next i catch Black Wolve, signet changes into "Black Wolve-Fellow" and last but not least "White Wolve-Fellow"
Now i want to make my beast master build with 3 pets following at my side:
Build:
5x Skill X, Mountain Eagle-Fellow, Black Wolve-Fellow, White Wolve-Fellow.
SO every pet i want to have with me is then like the old tame skill, u must have the skill then with u to have the pet with u, but this improvement of the tame skill enables having every pet, having the possibility to exchange pets and having the possibility to have more then only 1 pet at ur side, because a beast master is NO beast master with ONLY 1 pet, thats imo only like a dompteuer, but no beast master, beast master control more then 1 pet at once.
thats by far the best possible solution for everything and when beast master becomes then to powerful then change max lvl of pets to 15 ...
come on, a MM necro can have 10 minions, the elitze minion can reach lvl 25!!! while the normal onces can reach up to lvl 16-18 or so ..
a very good MM can keep his minions very long alive even with the life degeneration what should be the only reason, why MM is inot imbalanced -.-
But when we say, ranger should get 3 pets, this is direct IMBA !!! ya sure, with this way of thinking, then would be ritu's ghost massively be underpowered, because they can reach only lvl 9 or so, but in avererage only lvl 7, they can't move, have no defense and mostly die all with 1 hit from a strong melee class PLUS that ritualists can have only EVER 1 of the same ghosts on field at the time.
So 2 ritualists with same ghosts = crap, wont work, but for MM necro its again totally regardless, there can exists hundres of the same minions on field, more then 1 flesh golem on field ect ...
to come to a point, ranger pets and ritu ghosts need to be buffed for balance compared to mm necs minions.
ranger should get more then 1 pet (maybe then with only max lvl 15)
ranger/ritualist ghosts need higher levels, so that they don't die all mostly with 1 hit of a melee chara, like a derwish or a hammer warrioer. say instad of lvl 7 in average, make the average lvl 12
ghosts should be invulnerable versus physical hits. Why ?
because u cant simple hit things, that have NO materia.
only mage classes should be able to attack rangers/ritualists ghosts or players with have on their weapons an elemental enchantment

It really makes sense at this point. I can switch weapons, armor, skills, all without losing access to my old ones. But if I want a new pet, I forever lose the one I've invested time in. Personally, I've had the same wolf since pre-searing, and I'm rather attached to it. Every time I go to charm a new pet, I rethink it because I don't want to have to lose the old one. With three campaigns and now an expansion, all with numerous pets, the time has come for this feature.
I think the best solution would be an NPC (probably in the guild hall) that acts like pet storage. I wouldn't mind paying some gold to store a pet if it meant I could enjoy one of the new ones without fear of losing my original.
Plus, I'd finally be able to do that darn Melandru's Stalker quest in Old Ascalon. Imagine my despair when I first made it to post-searing so long ago and found that my choice of pet meant I couldn't complete a quest for my chosen profession. That always seemed a little broken to me.

Being a ranger player myself how could I possibly say no to this suggestion
I would love the ability to maybe even add pets to my party instead of heroes and roam around as a pack hunter with a hoard of wolves ( this would pose problems using pet skills but I can always dream ). The idea of binding an animal into a signet was pretty cool as well, but instead of the tamer taking our pet from us if we tame a new one he could simply keep that pet and we pay a fee to use that pet again.

For practical reasons one evolution isn't good everywhere so I'd like to be able to switch without having to raise a new pet...
Also 4 chapters of pets and we can only have one? I'd like to get a Phoenix or an Eagle but I don't want to dump my Dire Black Widow...

To anyone who thinks you should be loyal to one pet... how freaking awesome would it be to have one black wolf and one white wolf, that you alternate between? Maybe I'm just a nerd, but I love the concept. One holds the fort, one comes adventuring with you.
