They could package the game with the PS3 Logitech bluetooth keyboard.

Games aren't ported to a console because people prefer to play them on a console, it's done because there is an absolutely
huge group of people that game
only on a console. These people don't make a 'choice' between the two platforms, they game on their console and use their Dell PC to browse eBay/porn and perpetuate joke emails. I don't see why a game has to be 'dumbed down'. The only Bioshock differences (ignoring graphics) were interface changes due to lack of a keyboard, which has already been covered. I don't know about FFXI though. Was it dumbed down in any way on the PS2?
The lack of subscription fees is
perfect for a foray into console gaming. I mean it's just waiting to happen. It might not be with GW, but 'no subscription fees' seems to be something of a company mantra, so it's bound to happen with
some IP. FFXI even provides us with precedent when it comes to Sony, and such game diversity is exactly what the PS3 is hurting for right now. Sure, they'll be in a
much better place in 2009/2010, but they haven't made a deal with NCsoft because they
don't want MMORPGs on their platform.
Having said that, Anet are locked into the Microsoft Chokehold in a
big way, so who knows.
