Exactly...
The promotion is designed so that people can take advantage of it by buying GW:EN in the online store...it's not limited to GW:EN....but it is ideally timed so people can buy GW:EN and easily get the mission pack.
I've been complaining about the people who've gotten their copies of GW:EN early...such as yourself...you don't have to deal with the potential lag that will happen in the online store and you will be able to go right into gw:en...plus you have the dvd, manual, map, and whatever else that comes with it. The trade off is that I don't have to go anywhere...if the purchase goes smoothly I will get the game within a few minutes of launch. Then again I could be slowed down by lag...I don't get the nifty dvd, manual, map, etc...but I do get the mission pack.
I could probably easily go out and buy GW:EN right now from a retail store but I chose to stick it out and buy it from the online store because I want to get the bonus mission pack. You chose the other option....so no mission pack for you! </soup nazi>
The details of the mission pack promotion have been out for a while now (nearly 2 months)...it was made clear well before now that gw:en was the primary means for people to get the bonus mission pack...and since you chose to ignore than and get your nifty map/manual/dvd...deal with it or suck it up and buy some more character slots. No one to blame but yourself.
