I started by saying that there is no Dwarven set. How does me proving that make me wrong?
If you want to complain about how we didn't actually get 40 sets, that belongs in a new thread.

You brought it up, not me. :] It's an interesting point I want to explore, though: why exactly didn't we get 40 sets?

Vabbian is considered Elite. Moving on.
As per the topic at hand, yes, it is a bit unfair, and really it is a bit mean of ANET to not add it as an elite set. They didn't add the gloves and technically that can royally screw up the overall effect of it not being an elite set.
I suppose they have ways to at least alter it and make it an elite set, though... if they didn't, I'd be a little mad myself, being as I'd like to get this compilation of gear. If this is the case, then the only TRUE and GOOD set that Dervish got (in my opinion) is the Vanguard set. Asuran and Norn were a bit of a letdown for us...
Anywho, hopefully they alter something, and perhaps they come out with another set per each class, too; one that actually considers thought into the equation of making it... or some of the hero armors too... [nodnod]

And thank you for enlightening me to your process. It's not as supernatural as I thought! From now on, before I purchase any armor - no, before I purchase absolutely anything, I'll make sure to check every wiki, forum, and blog to make sure I'm getting what's advertised.
How exciting! Oo oo! Then I can go to those forums, and reap the rewards of people's mistakes, flaunt the mistakes in their faces, and troll the internet for more! What a fun new game. This is so much more fun than actually playing Guild Wars. Once I get the other 38 armor sets, I'm gonna just stop and do this, just like, oh, you know who.

For me elite armour is a lot of money and I never buy it in haste.
Why buy this armour now unless you really really like it.
I have no elite armour on my necro - just standard luxon. I will probably buy a set to put into HoM at some future date but as I will only be buying it as something to be recognised by GW2 I'm going to wait until GW2 comes out and I know what the benefit will be.
If you don't like the armour but are only buying it as something to put into HoM then I'd say wait unless the cost means nothing to you. If the cost does mean nothing to you then don't complain you've lost money.
I do however feel for those who brought dwarven armour because they like it - want to wear it - spent as much money as anyone else with any elite armours and can't display it in HoM

I will admit I didnt even notice they were not a set... guess I dont pay attention as much. Like all other armor, people assumed it was the price that decided...
