Dev 1: Hmm... seems a lot of people are just going through the game with Heroes and Henchmen now, we didn't really want that

Dev 2: And yet they still complain about their AI issues

Evil Froggy: How about a fake AI fix that makes Heroes and Henchmen act like Kilroy Stonekin?

Well for me i always have had trouble with Zhed. For me he is the omega danger ele. He always runs to aggro even when flagged or he seems to enjoy running up to monsters faces to cast meteor shower. I dont have a problem with Sousuke, but i have been noticing the same problem with Vekk. Leaving me one reliable ele hero. Thats right Zhed and Vekk, no new armor for you, you suicidial tards. For me Ogden has also had trouble casting any reasonable spells. I think because monks are first targets of monsters and he runs around way too much, a monster looks at him wrong and he runs for the hills and curls up into a little ball and crys.

Sousuke is ramboing for me, i mean dude...where are you going now. This happens when i give him Searing Flames. Grand Court of Sebelkeh was a major pain because of this . Everytime i heard someone scream, i knew who it was.."not again."

However Zhed is playing normally, as in not running around giggling and spamming SF at everything in sight or even out of aggro bubble. "must burn! burn them all!.".

All others seem to be as "normal" they can be (for now..).

I've noticed my own character leeroying into mobs while I'm trying to enjoy the scenery. I mean, what, just cause I'm holding 'w' and looking around doesn't mean I want to keep running toward that large Charr group...

Mhenlo aggered me a lot in Faction missions. He always stay in the tail, and fights the mob. While other henchies run with me logically. I mean he's a healing monk (or dirty monk lol) why is he suppose to fight?

I noticed something exactly like that with only zhed also. I don't know if its because i usually have zhed with me, or if its something with him specifically, but I have noticed him run off at a moment's notice into the nearest group to cast SF on some guy, when we are clearly targeting something on the other side of the compass.

They have dumbed down the AI significantly for GW:EN and it's a bit disturbing as to why.. Personally I think they're just trying to work on our nerves all the more..

Hero and Hench AI always takes a dump until more people have completed the content; don't as me why. Apparently RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO blocks make for good time wasters in dungeons full of res shrines.

Zhed has always been a maniac, way before Gw:en came out. He has always ran off and attacked crap half way across the radar with no instigation. The other 2 eles do it occasionally too but not as often.

ya know.. i think anet just made H&H the same as joining a really bad PUG!

-there is always one jerk who decides to run off and "ragekill"
-there is always 1 or 2 who stand back and watch others run up and "ragekill" whilst laughing at them.
-theres always a monk who thinks they are a tank.. or at least should be up front with everyone else
-One person usually gets lost trying to open that chest they missed... leading them to run around like lost puppies trying to find the rest of the group
-theres always one person who think they know EXACTLY what everyone else should do..which is commonly mistaken for a Leeroy moment!
-there are people who bring a bunch of skills and dont know how to use them properly.

lol. I'm just happy that I'm not the only one who's experienced this. I haven't noticed it specifically to one hero or the other, though. I've watched Pyre run off completely on his own, even after the whole group was flagged a good distance away. I've also noticed that on random hills in Norn territory, my heroes make my AL 60 Rit tank a good 10 yards ahead of them. I can't figure out if it's the AI thinking, "after you, son," or if it's the AI just trying to figure out the mapping.

Whatever the case, I'd appreciate knowing if the AI's have been made so that some are more aggressive/stupid than others. I don't necessarily need ANet to make any big changes; I just want to know if it was done by design, and if so, which ones I can use and tailor for my needs.

ive only really had problems with zhed running up to melee mobs while im trying to tank them

everyone else seems ok, although now that i have two of my other friends playing with me, hecnhman shouldnt be an issue
