New Mini Pet?
The Herbalizer
Why dont you just wait and buy the minis in-game for like 10k as they will be that in the not too distant future.
Then just get all the info featured in the magazine from people who have read it already and posted the facts on the interwebz?

And even if they are... what makes you think they'd print copies without cards in? I seriously hope they wouldn't be that evil... |

Even I am semi-prepared to start saving money to go get that >.> Me likey.
Though really at the most I would do is pay 50k at the most. But I will wait 1 week to see if that issue of PC gamer comes to my kmart. If it doesnt after a while. I'm sure I can find a seller

Has anyone in Toronto, Ontario, Canada got a mag yet?
I checked the Gateway Newstands down in the TTC Subway stations, all they have is Farcry + that Half Life 2 orange box thingy...

As far as I know, in North America it's only the Miniature Destroyer, however, if I'm wrong tell me!

Whats the deal with special magazine pets? Can I link more than one code to my account? Because I definately want to put one of these guys in the HoM for my Ranger, but its so badass that I want another one my other characters can enjoy.

Though I'm strongly considering purchasing multiple copies of each if I can anyway. Total waste of money perhaps... but that is what I want to do. Dude... I could convince a total stranger to send me a copy for less than half that amount. :P |
Yes there will be copies without a key. The keyless copies will include the standard demo/software disc. The key willl be inside the dvd case, so it's not like you can just pick up a copy with a key attached, it's pot luck.

I managed to land my hands on a foreign copy (Singapore, Kinokuniya Orchard. Nothing at Borders.) Here's more info
1) Destroyer code is printed on a page somewhere towards the end.
2) Almost 1/2 of the magazine features concept art. Many breathtaking pieces. A pity that many 2-page art cannot be scanned properly though, because they aren't printed on pull-outs.
3) A EOTN walkthru up till Great Destroyer. About 2-3 pages on heroes. Meh.
4) A section on Charr history.
5) A PVP primer. hm.
6) The prologue lore for GW2. This section had the most interesting writeup.. It describes the fate of Tyria, Cantha, Elona as well as what happened to races that we've met in EOTN, post-EOTN and pre-GW2. The lore bridges up the storyline for all campaigns and leads up to the premise of GW2. You get a clarification of the destroyer cutscene after beating the EOTN boss. Basically the whole section acts like a xxx-years later epilogue to EOTN/ prologue to GW2. Very interesting reading, though I was a bit depressed by some bits of the tale.
7) Finally, you'll also get a teaser of how the bonus mission pack is supposed to work. It also hints at how future content may be like.
There're also some references to a cancelled 4th campaign called Utopia, and some art related to that. Not sure if it's new but I have never heard of it.
