Its not jagged its deathnova. They like to spam this at the worst times, so out of battle I disable it.

If your going up against high level foes even though it's an inconvenience let him cast death nova a few times then flag him like right into enemy aggro, then as soon as the minions rush off unflag him. Works for me and adds damage quickly.

They only attack when something attacks the group. That's what guard is.

well gate of maddness doesnt req a particular hero so you can make the SS guy spoil victor and go. I dont think any other mission are hard. And you cant use MM in some missions so lvl6 dunkoro will do just the same good*lol* I hate that we forced to use particular heroes

Anyways. Usually for those missions that forces you to use certain heroes, it boils down to what you can do without. For example, if healing is not a concern, you can drop the necro rit for that hero & bring another monk hench. But of course, it boils down to personal preference.

Well a 10/10 for the maker of these builds. I used it with a healer, earth, protection and Interrupt henchies, and myself a water ELE. Doing the complete Glints challenge in under 20 minutes.

If you are a tank, take Mark Of Pain on your curse hero & you will see dmg flying.

I m not too sure for case. But for me, I play an offensive smiter. I took out Pure Was Li Ming and replace it with Mark of Pain. Even the minons attacking triggering MOP without me doing melee is nice enuff. Alternatively, you could try ancestor's rage for a less conditional dmg.

and some henchies. works like a charm

The Arching Healer
I like the SAB build but i dont like splinter weapon at the n/rt.. And I also add rising bile + putrid bile on the Jagged when I dont need the prot skills (HM in Tyria for example).

I actually disagree with the use of MoP whether you're running physical damage or not, heroes use it far too often and it has a large energy cost. Splinter Weapon gives you nearly the same return on damage, synergizes with Wielder's Boon, and is in the same attribute as Ancestor's Rage. Splinter also triggers on wands/staves/elemental weapons.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Arcane echo in particular I have tested with heroes. They never use it properly. It only works if you disable it and activate it manually, which defeats the purpose of heroes for me.

i don't think they would, they mostly do it on wars,sins,ders, maybe paragons and definatly rangers (in eotn it might be a really good thing to take aiden as a henchman with these builds on ur heroes for the barrage/splinter combo)

Well switch MM on areas without many corpses(like a time for heroes) And get a healprot ogden. I also remove barbs and such if we arent melee damage people.

In my experience, heroes use splinter on anybody wielding a martial weapon. I play a monk, and many times I have switched from prot staff to +60 shield+sword set to be hit up with splinter a second or two later. I then just switch back to prot staff and wand at balled up groups. It's a useful way of microing splinter if you're (like me) too lazy to open up the hero's bar and click on splinter. On the other hand though, I've also noticed times where Olias has used splinter randomly on the other heroes when they weren't wanding at the time.

From my experience they cast splinter weapon on everyone...I ran the triple nec hero's with my monk and even tho I never switched from my wand/focus to anything else they kept casting splinter weapon on me. Seems like they cast it on whomever is at the front of the pack that is about to attack a group.

I load up my mm with a 20% rod and 20% focus. Don't really see the need for enchanting mod since after it loads up death novas and one of them dies he usually is summoning new minions which will instantly kill the old ones (if your max limit is reached).

i just relized tta if u're doing something wit just heroes/henchman the rit healer will mostly likely cast splinter on the player

Yea. If you bring H/H only, the necro rit will prioritise martial weapon users then the player or minons whoever is closer to the rit.

Sup Death/Minor Curses on headpiece, Sup Vigor, Minor Soul Reaping, Vitae for the rest. As for equipment, I'd suggest 40/40 Curses for the SS Nec, 40% HCT/20% Enchanting Death Staff for the MM, and 40/40 Resto for the healer (though he'll be holding a pot most of the time). I usually set all my heroes on Guard. |
