Ive gotten four Superior Vigors in 13 months of playing.
There's always going to be someone who just can't seem to get an item. That someone with exceptionally bad luck.

I've been playing since the beta. To date, I've hit a grand total of 3 superior vigors. Two of them came from Nightfall in the last 6 months or so, and both came from unlocked treasures.
From what I've seen, superior runes seem quite random, but as with any truly random thing, there will be streaks. The one rune I've hit A LOT of is absorbtion. I've found about 10 of them in the last year, which is way more than any other superior rune by a long shot. Too bad those weren't superior vigors!

July '05. Have never seen a sup vigor drop. Got my first sup absorb the day after they plunged to 200g. One black dye since EotN, one in June '06. Two white dyes since EotN, none before.

I think about 3 or 4 in past 28-29 months. 2 came from halls chests about a year ago within a week of each other :O. Then another 1 or 2 from random drops.

. For those complaining about luck though, I really don't think it has too much to do with it. Luck will affect the drop from enemies, but I doubt me that any more than 2 of the 19 SV's ever came from drops. It has more to do with persistence and the 9150 high end chests I have opened. Not long to go now and I will max that title. As I mentioned earlier - Ice Floe and Mirror of Lyss were where I found most of them.

23 months of playing I have gotten 4. 1 from a chest in Vabbi during a double rare drop weekend. and 3 from the Ettin Farm.

Yeah I have been playing sine BWE and after release.I only got 1 sup vigor from a chest when you didn't need keys to open them.I haven't used it yet not sure who to put on but would sure like to see more drop as all my char could use them.

I accidently sold an unid gold armor, later the person who i sold it to PMed me saying it had a sup vigor ;(

I've been playing for coming up to a year now, and still no sign of a superior vigor for me. I don't go farming for high-end stuff like that though, so I haven't really been putting much effort into finding them.

in about 24 months i did not get a once then i was farming with my ranger with splinter barrage(margos) and in about 30 runs i got 25 golds 20 of them being runed items to slavage. and 10 with sup vigor. have not got any sence

I have been playing for ~20 months (what's that, Jan '06?), and not a single Sup. Vigor. I've had to buy all of the ones I own now. And I farm all the time, too. u.u

I've been playing since December 2005, been quite lucky with rune's, my fist character was a mesmer and it found 2 rune's superior absorbtion before it was level 14! They were around 100-120K then. The first time I had a superior vigor was with my ranger (my main character now), think about a year ago, have only found two of them ever.

I think superior vigor doesn't drop from every monster in the game, only a few drop it. And from my experience, look like it drops more in Tyria.
In a side note: It's really interesting the blue runes are the best now, the worst are purple, and normally the gold ones are crap too. ArenaNet must change blue runes to gold, and gold to blue, LOL!

I have been playing for 2 years now and have only received 3 of them. I got two on the same green run of sorrows furnace. Killed dwarf dropped armor and open chest next to him and it dropped one as well. Then got one 2 weeks ago in GWEN off a chest drop but all and all they are rare. Uber rare because I play way tooooooooooo much

I think I have seen 2 Superior Vigors in around 3,000 hours of play. Tho I am about to post what I like about GW - Drops has Never been acceptable.

the only time ive ever ID'd and got one was when i was a complete noob, they were like 80k (which i thought was uber rich). So i got frustrated and wonderd why they would put +50hp on armor which you cant wear, and merched it for 300g (which i thought was a nice sum at that time)

I've had ZERO superior vigor drops since i started playing when GW prophecies was in the shops. I guess it's just luck. I did however, have a lot of Superior Absorbtion runes drop for me.
