Someone in the game told me that if you have the Lost Treasure quest to kill snowmen, you can bring someone who doesn't have the quest. This is fortunate because it's hard to find the map pieces for the quest before it, or even find someone selling. I luckily found someone who was selling and I bought all four pieces for 1k each. So worth it.
If I have time this weekend, I can arrange to bring people to the snowman dungeon with me. If you're an Ele, great. If not, just go as anything/Ele and bring Savannah Heat and Fire Storm. Cast those two on groups and usually they'll go down so fast you won't have time to do much else.
Barrage with Splinter would seem good but it doesn't do much. I've tried. Only works a few times, it's such a tease. Just use spells that affect an area. Use the ones that go for a number of seconds, not just a one hit thing like Meteor.
At the end, cast such spells on the Freezie boss. Especially elites like Savannah Heat. When he dies, your skills are recharged and you can slaughter the rest of the snowmen.
Some people don't bother finishing the dungeon and will instead resign or map back to make the point grinding faster. But if you finish, you can open the chest for holiday items. I've gonna a rainbow candycane at least once. I'd say finish and see what you get each time, but arrange it with the other party members.
Back in the outpost you can get the reward. You don't have to map to another outpost, then back to retake the quest(which is repeatable). Just have everyone get the reward and switch districts, then everyone gets the quest. Then you're off to killing more snowmen.

Yes you can bring heroes and henchmen. I did that at first, but I found it more fun to bring someone and joke around. It's like the level in that Star Wars game where you go around slaughtering Gunguns, like a stress reliever. I found myself wanting to shair the fun.
I went with someone who had the quest. But someone in there told me he had the quest and was doing it with his spouse who didn't have it. So as far as I myself have seen, it's a certainty you can bring people who don't have the quest.
