Finally got my issue resolved. It helped alot to try to send in for a code early in the morning since peak times made it pretty much impossible for anything to be sent.

Hate to sound like a chump but if anyone got a second code that works I could use it. I am at work and can not get the download to work. i do not have admin rights so I can not update the software to make it run right. PM if at all possible.

Anyone know how to get a second code?

Seems like it wont let me get a second code for my boyfriend's account. We use the same computer, ive tried clearing cache and cookies, but it wont work

It assigns keys based on IP address. You will have to go else where to get another key. Unless you have a ISP that gives a new IP everytime it gets disconnected. So you could try resetting your high speed modem.

I think they're officially ran out of keys.

I have been creating multiple email accounts on my alluring-angel web host...
and I've gotten a reply on the first 20 + emails I made... but since 10 minutes
ago, I haven't received an email yet... so I'm thinking that they ran out.

Oh well! At least I got a lot for my guildies + alliance.

I don't think this is true, I got four different keys sent to my email. Only one of them worked, though.

I've just been able to register 5 minutes ago and received the e-mail 2 minutes after... so it seems there are still some keys left.

I just got one each for my girlfriend and myself, about 5 minutes ago, using 2 different email addresses. I got the emailed codes instantly, and both were, thankfully, not in use.

For the record, I was using a horribly outdated version of Adobe (6.0), and I couldn't tell you the last time my Flash player was updated. I had no trouble seeing the form to enter your name and email address, though it did take 2 or 3 seconds to show. From reading over this thread for the past couple days, I'm inclined to believe the success rate is entirely random.

You know what? Actually it isn't out yet. There are still more key codes available.

The only reason why I haven't been getting any reply with keys is because
of the fact that they noticed I have requested 20+ keys on my alluring-angel
web host, lol...

Here's his reply:

" Please use the magazine to register for a code. We have already issued multiple emergency codes to this domain. "

It's not IP, I'm pretty sure it's email address. I registered three keys from my home computer yesterday, but each was to a different email. (1 for me, 1 for wife, 2nd for wife when first came up "already in use".) And I have a very consistent DSL connection, I've probably had the same IP for 6 months.

Here is how I got multiple keys...

First of all, I have a webhost: www.alluring-angel.com.

I can make multiple emails... actually, unlimited.

So, lets say I made an email called...

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

Then, I send an email with each of the addresses above to:
[email protected]

Subject: Pet
Email Msg: My name & my email address.

5 minutes later, I got an email with the keys provided by them.

Taa-daa!

I did this for like... 20 + emails I made... and I got 20 + keys for my guildies
and alliances!

You should be getting an email like this in reply:

Hi

As you are probably aware, the launch of MMOZine absolutely swamped
our servers last night and caused us (and you) lots of problems. We're
very glad that the magazine and the Guild Wars Mini-pet offer have been
so successful.

Because of that overloading, it did cause a small percentage of people
to have a problem with their code. This problem has now been rectified
on the server, but we have identified the people who are missing a working
code, and are issuing you each with a new, unique code for your mini-pet.
Here is your new code for Guid Wars:

Our apologies for the delay in supplying this new code. We had to manually
identify all the problem codes, which took some time.

i live with 3 friends share a network of 3 computers..and only 1 IP address...cant get more than 1 code...lucky me i got first..they missed out..everytime they try using different email..it sends me on my original email address a copy of my original code.

seems kind of a weird way to do it..you would think it would be email based.

I thought that too - But like someone pointed out earlier; this thread doesn't even have 40,000 views, and it's hardly the most popular website on earth. I shouldn't think there'll be a code shortage. We're talking around, maybe Grawl numbers for this mini.

Thanks to other posters in this thread, I updated my Adobe products prior to visiting the website, and as of this post time, I was successful in obtaining a code(first time). Checked my email today and was surprised to find a note from the magazine.
The email said they were sorry for the problems and explained they were sending out new codes to all who recieved a code that was "in-use".
Tried the new code and it worked with no problem. It took them a whole day but in the end the customer service was actually pretty good.
Got a new mini and found a new mag to read. Not a bad deal after all!!

hehe dw guys its a legitimate minipet, used as a promotion for a new online mag called MMoZine...

latest issue was giving a code via email if you gave ur address...code included mini ceratadon...got mine the other day....i dont know why the ppl were saying they cant tell...maybe because they want limited numbers in game to sell for heaps? dont worry...not gonna be an over 100k price as everybody has acces to their own new mini ceratadon

I had the problem where my son successfully registered and got the mini, but when I tried, I got the "You seem to have already been allocated a code" thing and he got a renotification e-mail. (We share a router so have the same IP address)

I sent them an e-mail yesterday and received a reply this evening giving me my own code.

Very good customer service I would say - they must have been swamped with e-mails, so all credit to them for sorting it out!

My evil, evil, evil work netword refuses to let me download files >5mb without admin approval.
And my home computer has major problems with Adobe and Flash. So if somebody wouldn't mind, I'd be greatful.

I had to open it with firefox after I installed adobe reader 8 and flash player.
