No No you misunderstood, if he bought the PvP unlocks, the skills are unlocked on his account and therefore he can buy the skills he doesn't have on other campiagns using the tomes. This is another one of the benefits of using tomes

Are you sure thats how PvP Unlock Packs work? I don't think that feature was intended, if it is indeed true, which is probably why they removed them from the store...

I find they're even lower for sin tomes. I've been buying at 250 ea
I think the mentality of buying tomes is "I rather buy an unlocked skill from a player rather than 1k at the trade". RATHER than "I rather buy a unlocked skill from a player rather than having to go all the way to ___ to buy it*"

Some tomes are real cheap because they are a byproduct of farming. This is why there are so many sin, ranger and war tomes.

Other professions are more expensive because they're less common. There aren't many ritualist mobs out there being farmed so rit tomes still maintain price.

I'm not sure about being able to buy skills from other campaigns you don't have, but I'm pretty sure pvp unlocked skills are available from most trainers without going too far. Maybe even right out of kamadan and ascalon.

As for selling tomes at 1k, well, why would anyone pay 1k for a tome when they can just go to a skill trainer whenever they feel like? As for not having skill points, that only affects new characters, and mainly prophecies characters at that. NF and factions gives out skill points by the bucketload for quests, missions, and general xp so you level up and get skill points pretty quick. Plus hero skill points are free as well.

If you only own Prophecies, and use a tome to learn a skill that is Factions-only or Nightfall-only, and the only versions you have of Factions and Nightfall are the PvP editions, your character will learn them, but cannot use them. So that defeats the purpose, tbh.
