And remember -
When powermechanting and you\'re buying at the lowest price range possible, or selling at the highest don\'t listen to those who say -
\"What r u kiddin me? lolz nub gl findin it 4 that\"
or
\"ull neva get one\"
Just ignore them, because it\'s worked for the others who have tried at it so apparently you can get what you\'re looking for at your price, just make sure it\'s not TOO low. Say something has a range of - 6k - 10k. Ask for it at 6.5k to 7k. Then sell it for 9k - 10k. This isn\'t dead base powermerchanting, if it was you\'d be buying at 6k and selling at 10k you know, but this strategy helped me moreso because people seem to respond to it better, give or take a platinum
This is what I\'ve followed and made about 40k-50k in the past 2 days. Yes it is painfully boring, and yes you\'ll probably be sitting somewhere for a huge amount of time, but once you get something for a low price, DON\'T HESITATE, and start selling that right away. The text box should almost look like -
[[WTB ECTO 4.5K]]
WTS Zealous Sword of Fortitude....
WTS ****ABSINTHE X2***** 500 EA
[[WTS ECTO 5.5K]]
Understand? Go right into it, because the longer you wait..the more tears of boredom will be shed.
Another small tip I\'ve found to work is - in LARGE populated places that are premier for selling things (Kaening Center, Lions Arch, Kamadan Jewel of Istan) sometimes you\'ll easily miss the PMs you receive because of so many people selling. You can do two things to fix this problem - you can make the text box bigger. Yes. Make the text box long, but not wide, and this way you\'ll have a much bigger range of seeing who\'s saying what. Also, you can turn up your sound in-game and you\'ll hear a \"ring\" when you get a PM - This can help even if you\'re AFK! This is what I did when I sold one of my Mini\'s. I wasn\'t really on - I put WTS ...... and then after a bit I heard the ring, checked, and sold it, just make sure you respond quickly to them, they may find someone who has a lower price!
