First off I'd like to say that I know this title isn't supposed to be easy, nor does it take a few hours. It could take even months. And because of the level of monsters, that's to be expected. What I'm asking here isn't to change the level of time, but more like the level of difficulty.
For instance, the max party size is Pre-Searing is 2. Two people against at least 4 level 8+ Charr at one time is hardly fair, not to mention the fact that our armor in Pre-Searing sucks (even the collector armor). And of course no one has a max/good weapon unless they have the bonus ones. My proposition? Make the max party size 4 and make one more set of Pre-Searing armor that's got more defense. Death leveling would still be necessary to get the title because eventually you will be stronger than the Charr. But until then, it's hard to struggle through low level monsters for maybe 20 experience per kill, that gets lower for each level, to get to a decent level to stand a chance against the Charr.
I just made a new mesmer in the hopes of getting this title. I had a ranger wanting it too, and got her to about level 11 before finally giving up and moving her forward into the game. The only reason I'd even make a Tyrian character now (I hate Tyria but that's another story) is for this title. And it's dumb how long it takes and how difficult it is. What does everyone else think?

Well, you said it yourself...this title is not meant to me easy, it requires some patients, you will HAVE to team up with an ally up to lvl 12 or so and even then it can be though to solo.
Bottom line is that your not just asking them to change a title, you want them to change the entire mechanics of a game just to allow a title to be easier.

And since a guildy solod the 3 charr bosses with a lvl 7 mesmer today I think the difficulty level is just about right

Dont complain about a title just because you cant spend the time to earn the title.
Other people, incuding myself, have earned this title as is, and its unfair if the time we spent putting into this title is diminshed because you want an easier title.

how is this title hard? maybe a small bit early on but from14-19 isn't it mostly death leveling?
don't you duel till ye get high enough level to solo?
i'm not sayign it doesn't take time or dedication but it just takes so long, i'd be for any change for LDoA even 1xp per monster,

If you only want it for KoaBD title then just go for Legendary Survivor, its far easier. But i agree after leaving pre it should vanish its a pre searing title. And the point is, you earned the title and you can show it off, in pre

It's a very good, detailed guide for a mesmer to hunt Charr solo. The only thing it doesn't have is state a recommended level that a character should start trying to solo. But, generally, that's around level 12.
I highly suggest you become a member of the forums at http://www.presearing.com/
It's a large community of pre searing players. Almost all of them are very friendly people, and would be willing to help you out if you just ask. I would offer you help myself, since I have a mesmer and necro currently in pre, but they're very low level, so it won't really help. Anyway, good luck with it.

i am currently going for the LDoa title with my ele and find the dificulty level just fine. any charcter can level over the wall. lower levels have bout 20 lvl 5 oakheats and 12 lvl 3 grawl to kill. there is even some lvl 2 animals for the very low guys.
I do disagree with the concept of afk titles. LDoA, drunkard and to a certain extent lucky/unlucky. i just see very little point to an part of the game that physically prevents you from playing the game. i like GW and want to play it. but going for this title i keep thinking "oh cant play today again going for that bloody title".
would it upset folk if they were to just add a lvl 14 boss to the game? or even make skullreaver lvl14. he's out of the way. it would still take a long time to repeat kill him. the title would still be hard. and he obviously wouldnt even have charr kits or charr bags. so people would only ever use him for xp.

Charr coming at you from all directions, no energy, no heals, no help, struggling to get to a decent level at level 8 or so because the highest level besides the Charr are lvl 5's worth maybe 20 exp per kill, so you try to kill the Charr for your exp and then once you get high enough you have to death level. Yeah, very easy title...
And Legendary Survivor isn't easy to get unless you leech off someone else. I don't want this title for Kind of a Big Deal. I want it because it's the only reason I'd make a Tyrian character, as it's my least fave campaign. It would be cool to have a title like that. It would look good in the Hall of Monuments. I tried for a few weeks, got the lvl 16 and blah... The one thing that peeves me is that yea, Armor should be better, and you shouldn't have to death level. All Titles should be unlockable for one character. I don't neccessarily agree with everything you say. But they could through in a few lvl 16's or 18's as bosses. It would still take forever, through them in the corner of the farthest reaches of the map, but at least that way you could get survivor and legendary. BETTER ARMOR! HIGHER LEVEL BOSSES! Not changing too much of the game, they've added bosses places before..
