As for unlocking the skills for a Chapter: if you buy that chapter's PVP unlcoks, they will immediately be available for use, no need for Balthazar faction.


(I can't help but add, the hype on this being good for PvE players is ridiculous. The better our Heros have it in PvE, the more I wish I had the same options for my Main...)

Yeah, I just checked there and its $19.95 USD for the pvp access pack, but still no mention of the skill unlock packs. I'm guessing they'll be the same.

well that figures..... all they have up so far is the PvP access pack and only in the NCsoft store which I am not if it automatically attaches to your account or not....

My unlock pack is called "Priest of Balthazaar" Only missing a few non-elite Assassin skills, non-elite Ritualist skills, a few elite and non-elite Dervish skills, and lastly alot of Paragon skills. But considering faction is easy enough to come by I could have them all unlocked in a week or two if I wasn't lazy about it.

Pretty sure there would have to be a skill trainer for you to purchase it from. Unlocking skills doesn't give them to your characters, just makes them available to purchase from the skill trainers.

My bad nvm didnt read all the way through when it said these Non elite skills are unlocked for PVE i jumped and didnt really read the rest it said to but at a skill trainer so srry

I think it's more of the fact that, except for PvE only ones, which are not included in the pack, there are no other GW:EN elites.

A surprising move for ArenaNet. Normally, one milks a franchise for all its worth when it is dying (i.e. Star Wars, Pokemon)
