I notice certain things with veteran pvp'ers that I know. They can't accept the fact that there are new players that are better than them. All I hear from those with rank6+ are how it used to be so nice back in the day where most of the good pvp'ers knew each other, whos who and nub this, nub that.
To sum it up, with so many new players in pvp (anet made it more enticing than before) they pretty much cant steamroll through everything and a lot of them grew bitter and are more rage prone. Secondly, I equally dislike those that casually play the game and assume people that worked on their goals for so long (a lot of people have 2+ years time spent on their account) should feel the same, that its only a game and it should all be candyland and cakes. Anyone that worked hard on something will feel threatened and angry if trivial or underestimated factors contributes to their loss. This is frequently casual players that join the group, refuse to be competitive and play in a nonchalant way. Face it, pvp, mmo and physical sports are pretty much alike. If you refuse to be a team player and endure rigorous practice to be competitive, don't burden a group of people that want to win hard because your stubborn and selfish ideals tell you that its only a game and you should have fun even at the expense of others. |
I always say "don't let your fun become a burden on others" whenever I encounter a situation where one person is continuously harassing others.
