Shield of the Lion, looks epsecially good with the ancient armour.
No offense to anyone who actually likes it, but I find the tormented shield to be extremely boring. I can't even count the amount of people I see using one every day in the FoW. Do people actually use the thing because they like it, or is it purely for prestige?

Exalted Aegis. Very nice-looking shield, I just wish it wasn't zero thickness, and that it had texture on the back side too.

It depends on what armor I'm using. For example if I'm using my Plate mail set I bust out the Summit Warlord Shield(The warlord shield is one of the more badass skins in the game), but it kinda looks weird when I put on the Vabbia armor, then I swap to the Sun and Moon Shield(less bad ass, but got dang pretty and goes better with the 'ornateness' of the vabbi armor). My Elite Gladiator armor looks good holding almost anything, but especially well with smaller buckler types like the diamond aegis.
As good as a shield looks it is an accessory and no matter how prestigious the skin it can clash with your other gear. I remember a guy, had elite luxon armor dyed green and a green mursaat shield, was one of the most badass things I've seen, all chittiny lookin. One of these days I'm going to have to make a "tree" warrior, get one of the freaky looking warrior armors an oak aegis and a bramble or brair blade...

1. Mursaat Shield - I dyed mine white and it goes perfectly with my white Monument.
2. Zodiac Shield - It's a great shield but it clips with some of my armor

Darkwing Defenders (both Strength and Tactics) - both -5/20 +30 cause I'm lazy. Also Eternal -2/+44 enchant & Tall -2/+45 stance.
Monk: Amethyst Aegis -5/20 +30 (see lazy comment above)
Paragon: Iridescent (dyed black) - lazy mods
While I agree with the fact that -5/20 isn't the most wonderful mod, IMHO the mod only really matters in PvP. PvE you have no good reason dying anyway.

Well, i just started seriously playing my paragon, the first class I've ever really gotten into that uses a shield.
It's kind of a side project, so Exalted Aegis works quite nice ^^
However if I ever set myself down to get anything done, I'll likely go with tormented.

Wooden Buckler is what I'm using at the moment, but I do really like the Tower Shield/Defender skin.

The best shield is the FREE one you get from bonus pact. If you don't have it, the best shield is the CHEAPEST shield. Max and with good atts of course.
I do like the Aureate Aegis though.

i get bored easily so i don't think i have a favourite
but the one i've stuck the most with is a zodiac shield
i still use it on my main char combined with a zodiac sword (zodiac stuff doesn't really go well with other weapons skins)
