Your first green drop

Okay so lots of people like to use only greens, or they farm them and sell them, etc. So I thought, why not make a thread about it?

I remember when I first got a green drop. It was Bubahl's Grasp, not long after Nightfall first came out. My first response was, "What's a green item?" Now I'm addicted and green items are the only ones I use. hehe Since then, lots more greens have dropped. But I was wondering, what was the first green drop you ever got and what did you think? And what did you do with it? I sold mine because I didn't have a dervish at the time and because I needed the cash for elite druid armor (my first time getting elite armor, and a friend offered me 20k for that scythe).

It was some dinky little thing just outside minister cho's estate dropped by a boss.

I believe my first green was Bludgeoner. Dropped when doing SF with guildies, and dang was I happy about it lol.

My first green drop (and last really), was shortly after Factions launched. It was a low level staff ... Miki's staff.

Being the newb I was I merch'd it rather than hanging on to it for another character that might use it or hunting for a player that wanted it.

Not a good staff, but it can't be replicated.

Since then I haven't had a green drop in any campaign. Perhaps the Rare Green Gods saw how I treated their last gift and have decided to punish me.

My first green was [wiki]Malinon's Shield[/wiki]. It dropped for my warrior and I thought about using it, but it was worth around 75k when I got it. So I sold it and went on my merry way.

Flint's Artifact. Seemed quite cool at the time to get green drops. People paid insane amounts even for a water magic off-hand...

Heh.. that was mine as well. The only time it ever got any use was when I got to The Ring of Fire, came in handy there.

Yep...that sums up my first as well. Can't remember what it was.

I think it was Galigords, always loved the stats, and at the time I got it it was worth maybe 3k, 5 tops so i customized it. And use it to this day.

Anyway, I miss the days when greens were valuable. Now I put all greens in heroes or just sell it to merchant like any white item. Purple and Golds are the ones.

Tahkayun's Pincers, not cool, i used to sell them @ 2K each

Gordac's Needle - my ranger used to be holding it for the wiki page, but some necro seems to have gone and replaced it.

Unfortunately, my first green was [wiki]Flint's Artifact[/wiki]. Good times in Deldrimor War Camp.

Orosen's Staff. I'm one of those "I want greens for all my characters and heroes" people, they're just really fun to collect IMO. I admit to having a minor minipet fixation, as well.

My first green was Nundak's Recurve Bow. I gave it away to a friend.

The Shadestone.... and I never used it. :P
