The whole name thing with A Net has been odd for a while now. It appears to me that more English speaking names get banned than other language names.
I've seen so very bad stuff in some of the Italian French German and Russian channels.
Then again if you translate some of the skill names into French or Italian you end up with another closed thread.
What I really don't get is why name Boobies is forbidden. We allow Hawk, and Raven. They are such cool birds too.

WOOT!!!! My first ban!! I hope it is my warrior name I been wanting to rename him for a long time and his name has Arse in it. I bet it was for my Im Sofa King XXXX toons though. Maybe OMFG imma monk? or Alfa Q Up? anyhow having to play on a friends old acccount for next 3 days so he will get all my factions

If people would grow up and actually take some time to think up a proper name instead of one that's funny for five minutes but has them posting up threads after three months telling ANet to include post-creation name changes, it wouldn't even be a problem.
I don't see how names like I Poked Jora can be witty for anymore than one or two quick glances over it.
