So now instead of being able to do more AB for double faction, it's actually making it off limit's for people. Not many people want to wait 10mins for a 5 min match.

Depends on what map you're on.

If you're Kurzick and map is on...

or a Luxon and map is on...

Then you should be able to get into a game quickly.

Starting from June, when there was good record keeping, you'll notice may is barren:
PvP only weekends: 11
PvE only: 7
PvX, bonuses for both, or events that had both pve and pvp content: 4

There is a disportionate number of weekends toward pvp only bonus. And that the point, there been 3 weekends that benofit only the pvp aspect of the pvx title track in the same time spand of only 1 weekend that benefited BOTH, not just pve (btw whoever is the event director considered this and holiday event, even if it has pvp content, as pve only weekends).
And guess what, the big wintertime content that is coming is pvx content, snow ball fights are as pvp as it comes.

Guru is just becoming the GW whiners forum. I think special weekends are great and if one particular weekend isn't what I do, so be it; I know that there will be an upcoming weekend that will be one I would participate in. Please stop all the whining and just enjoy the game.

This has been a whiner's forum for years. The community here is extraordinarily negative - and they want to broadcast to everyone how negative they really are.

Fortunately they're only a tiny minority of GW players.

Umm.. Actually they already did this in an update like 2 months ago. Talk to the Luxon/Kurzick priests and buy the blessing of the kurzicks/luxons for 100g. Now every level 20+ kill u get gives you faction and bosses give you 125 after killing so many regualar foes (like LB/SS on HM).

Stupid QQing. Yeah... snowball fights are REAL hardcore PvP. *rolls eyes*
They are the most simplified form of PvP ever (except for dragon arena) designed for newbie players.
