@ moriz: Except for more downtime. Since Expose is already run as a secondary Hex I indeed doubt it'll have a major impact

On the first kill, yes. But as the chain recharges in less time than SP I also use Expose as a substitute Hex req quite often.

what's really strange is that there are no update notes for the skill balance. let's hope anet releases them later, because i don't feel like going through everything to check.

doubled the unconditional damage for overload. how strange :S
assuming you get a few well coordinated mesmers, you can spike pretty damn hard with overload if you hit a caster casting aegis.

but i must say, empathy and overload buffs are just wtf.
the nerfs to DP and SP probably won't change too much. assassin-casters will just go A/Me for energy drain instead of sig of judgment, or maybe even assassin's promise.
that in itself might make them even more powerful than they were before.

I was running a DA DM build with paradox.
Pre cast paradox like 10 seconds before (like mantra of recovery =P)
Tehen start your spells, your daggers have now all recharged, and you have 4-6 seconds left of paradox...go mash crap.
Just precast paradox with high Deadly arts. You'll barely notice the 15 energy if you pre-cast.

SP change doesn't really offer much; so what if Sins can't spike every 20 seconds? Were they before? And if they were, there's a 5 second gap now, whoopy.
I think AoD should be left alone: an elite, no snare, 1e upkeep, long recharge, and that's enough to me to be allowed to shadow step to and back. Also it's a strippable enchantment. Rending Touch = bye bye sin

5 seconds more recharge may seem like nothing to noobs, but it can mean the difference between a kill and a lost opportunity for a kill. ever see a target wide open and wish your sp had already recharged? well you will find yourself in that situation a lot more now.
SOJ deadly paradox is now unplayable. one cannot cast augury, dd, ea as often as before, which are essential to keep the pressure up. fortunately, i dont use either build much so am virtually unaffected. nevertheless i disapprove of their nerfage, since they were totally legit skills. LightningHell
