I'm having lots of fun doing the missions and collecting the weapons, but I wish there was a title if you unlock all the secret discoveries. Right now I would be 8/12 discoveries made. We could get the "Historian" Title for making all 12 discoveries!

SHAKTI... I think it's great for people to express positive feelings and ideas about the BMP in this thead. There's no reason for Tarzan to feel responsible for anyone else's reactions. Leave that responsibility where it belongs... with the ones reacting.

I was in no way making Tarzan somehow responsible for that sniping and if it seemed I was I apologize to him.
I do however think titles based on the BMP is not the best idea. A title available only to some when the unavailability to others is already causing this much bs? No thanks.

Its a slap in the face that I can live with, I don't see anything wrong with being able to live with something that was a slap in the face I would be upset if there is not going to be another chance for me to BUY the BMP. I just figured out what this means:
Completing each mission also unlocks “Discovery Mode” for that mission, adding three hidden, bonus goals for you to discover. For each bonus goal you complete, Durmand will give any one character on your account an additional authorized story. The additional stories can only be earned once for each account
We can do these missions as many times as we want, but for every bonus objective we complete we get a FREE authorized book without having to complete the mission.
This is actually a decent way to farm; you get 500g for completing it every time, which is more than you get from drops with the new drop assignment thingy.

I'll restate my position then to make that distinction. Achieving bonuses in the BMP missions requires no gold expended and much less work than protectors or GMCs. There! Does that clarify things for you? And stop right there if you think I'm going to get in an argument about which is more valid... spending gold or working for it. Oh yeah I could go for a title specific only to the BMP woohoo yeah baby lets make one Anet. <dances around computer chair> And really mods this thread is just turning into another whinning thread about why those that didn't get the BMP should be able to get it now that they've seen the skins and what all it includes. I say never give it to them Anet they don't deserve it. The forfeited their chance to get it and shouldn't be given 2nd and 3rd chances. It was a "promotional" item not a "sale" item and it should never be a "sale" item unless you charge $40 for it. Maybe even $50 since it will be rare now and nowhere to be found except from you guys. You could make a fortune. But, then you'll have whinners that say it's too expensive and then start threads like this again wanting it free or for $10. hahaha

I'd like to see that myself a title specific only to the BMP portion. I also agree everyone had plentie of time to get the game what was it 3-4 months total? But, I think some are just content beating a dead horse, but, I don't think Anet is going to comply either nor should it as that would be unfair to those that did spend the extra money to get the BMP and also bought the game from an outside source to get the box and all the goodies it has.

Maybe they could offer it as a promotion once again in the future, and not for separate purchase. Only difference to EoTN Promotion then would be that people would know exactly what they would get should they use the store enough to get the BMP.

when you complete the mission with new discoveries you get an extra book for each discovery.
if you want another character to get these extra book, don't redeem the book but use the character you want the extra book to go to talk to the historian.
since its a discovery, you cannot discover it more than once. since its already discovered,... hrmz but you can still do the regular 500 experience quest with other character, and even if they do the discovery they won't get the extra 2,500 experience and gold.

I dunno it seems the discoveries are character based, I have done gwens story many ah times and made the same discoveries on different characters and received additional books for it.

The only thing you will not get when doing the mission again is the extra experience for the 3 discoveries each mission have. You can only discover the secrets 1 time.

you get one book for your other character, and can do it many times.
after you complete the mission, authorised the book, exchange for weapon, then get another book to do the mission again.

it means earn 7.5k and then work just for weapons ..
