Hmmm Bt probs? I haven't rebooted mine yet but I can't get in either.
Frankly, as much as I like BT (and they are reliable) the homehub is a pile of dog droppings. I'm going back to my netgear router, that thing never let me down.
Has GW broken?

Just joined the forum, but wanted to add my woes with BT connection. Have tried defragging, restarting router (that worked sometimes), but getting lag inside game. Been fine for months, so might be something to do with BT's upgrades...

Restarting router worked fine...2 mins later i got extreme lag and booted out. Now I can't get passed the connecting screen, always on 0%.
With BT using a Belkin router. Code 005 again, same as I had 2 or 3 weeks ago...

Rebooting the router worked for about 2 mins. Looked away from the right hand monitor to check this thread and when I got looked back I'd DC'd again.
Looks like I'm playing WoW tonight then.

Lost my connection again. I did manage to get it back to apologize to my Alliance AB team after I hit the repair button on my network icon. Unfortunately, because I had err 7, followed by error 58 when I attempted to reconnect, I wasn't able to get back into the battle. I've given up for the night. At least I got an hour and a half AB fix though! Better than nothing, I guess.

Just managed to get on for 30 mins with no problems at all.
Came out and tried to log in again - stuck at 0% conneting screen.
Can now log on to guildwars.com which I couldn't earlier!

Another forum noob here. I am also with BT and having the same probs. I use a Belkin Router and have managed to get on to GW a couple of times by switching it off at the mains (not just restarting it though).
Have done the tracert, see below.

I'm having similar problems with Virgin Media. Trouble happens when i try to zone. Works most of the time but then i'll get a code 005 on an area. Then whenever i try to load into that area i'll keep getting code 005's, but only for that area. Then after a time it works again. Couldn't get into GH earlier and now i can't get into the Thom+Rand dungeon in Slavers.

I just got up and checked. The new build came down and I logged in just fine, I'm going to leave it running for 10 minutes to see if it's ok.
Hmm the dwarf pen is back in Kamadan minus the dwarf and the Xunlai chests gave moved. Game is loading quicker then usual though.
Hope it's fixed for everyone !
edit: Okay ran it for 30 mins, everything was fine. Logged in and out and swapped characters a couple of times and no issues.

Yea, same here, logged in this morning and Guild Wars is working fine. i can get into GW.com aswell where as before i couldnt. appears to be all sorted.
but if anything goes wrong with connection in regards to GW again we will all know who to blame next time.

well i was having the same problem as you guys, the problem is at this time(11:05 AM -3 GMT ) i could always login without a problem the problem would be always tonight, from 20:00-22:00... so not sure if it's fixed for me at least

I've been able to reconnect to guildwars.com and everything is working fine on the i-net side of things, but it seems I'm having a lot of packet loss on my connection in game. I can skip from 47ms ping to 2,300ms.

I've just tried on a physical connection and while i didn't get 'current' ping rates as low as on my wireless, the over all average was a lot better and constant rather than big ping/lag spikes.
Guess I'll have to run a cable from my room to downstairs where the router is...

One thing I can add to the pool of knowledge though is that it isn't an issue with BT's DNS servers. I set up my router to use OpenDNS earlier today (well, since it's now a minute past midnight technically yesterday) and it didn't make any difference.
