I got a lot of those happening, but only a few I can remember....
In AB, I was running Spoil Victor for the heck of it... a wammo came up to me. I cast SV and Insidious Parasite. He keeps attacking and dies... then calls me a noob in local chat and leaves. That was totally priceless. Same happened with a couple assassin.
I got called a noob for fast-pulling Tombs; half of the group seemed totally inexperienced and they raged because I was going "too fast" and not letting the monk (a friend of mine, used to run with me) regen between each mob. "OMFG NOOB PULLER! LET THE MONK REGEN!!!!!!!" "OMFG HES GONE AGAIN!!!!"
I think I got a death threat in GW for being gay.
Another was kicking a monk with a ultra-high energy-heavy build without ANY energy management (he had healing breeze, heal other, heal party, WoH, and other skills) - he put me on ignore and kept spamming "NOOB NOOB NOOOOOOOOOB U FAIL" and such for a good 5 minutes. I was lol'ing.
Right now that's all I can think about... I'll have some more. I seem to attract them quite often.
EDIT: Hah I KNEW I'd have another! Was monking Gyala Hatchery for a guildie and a friend of hers. The friend, who wound up being her brother, was a necro MM with a bad bar. He kept rushing everywhere and called me a noob healer for not healing him, while he was at least 2 aggro bubbles away from me. The same guy also went nuts at me (constant PMs for 10 minutes straight, all going "NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB NOOB") for rejecting him for a Tombs run because he was a b/p and I had 7/8 of my people - was only missing orders.

I got flamed for using frenzy in pvp by an assassin on the enemy team. Apparently I'm noob for using frenzy as a warrior and for staying near the rest of my team.

That's another favorite of mine. This one guy buying black dye for 10g in pre just totally blew up when I was at Fort Ranik, and told the noobs he's scamming you out of several platinum.

A recent one started when a new member of my guild started ranting about how he could pwn everyone in the guild. Finally another new member chanllenged him and they scrimmaged. The whole battle they were yelling at eachother over guild chat. We were on TS just laughing at both of these guys. The cocky guy got pwned and then started ranting and isnulting everyone. Guy tried to tell me that anything that is NOT +15%>50 +30hp and 20/20 sundering isnt perfect. I went on proving to him that even +15% while enchanted armor +5 and a 3/-1 vampiric is a perfect weapon. Yea he put me on ignore.

I got called a noob when I was on my ranger for not being in the front line with the warriors. lol. The wars were in the front and then the casters went into the middle of the mob leaving me and another ranger in the very back -.-. Was I gonna run into the middle of the mob and join them too? hell no. So me and the other ranger got flamed for being noobs.

Some guy started flaming me once while I was in Pre Searing Ascalon while I was going for LDoA. It was late wednesday night. I'd reached level 17 or so, and was asking for a gate opener so I could set up a death level before I went to bed. Anyway, this guy PMs me, and starts commenting on how I don't have a life, and how it was wrong of me to buy a game just to waste my time in the tutorial area. He kept going on and on about it.
Anyway, I replied, asking him how the fact that I was setting up a session where I would just go AFK and do something else leads to me lacking a life. He replied that I should go play the game properly, or should go outside. I then replied with something like "It's 11pm on a wednesday night. What am I supposed to do outside? It's not like I can go to the pub this late on a week night, by myself. That'd just be sad."
Well, he kept harassing me, repeating the same things over and over. So I think I eventually just told him that it was up to me what I did in game, and to mind his own business. Also had a couple rages related to me not taking bonders in FoW, for not healing characters an aggro bubble or two away from me, like this necro in FoW who went totally NUTS at me for "not healing" him despite he was triggering traps on purpose. I actually healed him; I was running a ZB hybrid, and I DID gain my energy back (thus proving he was under 50% health)... I stated this, and he said "so you dont have energy?!?!?" before spending the next 5 minutes using BR on me. When I called in the middle of a long fight (our uber tank!11!!oneone had double aggroed) I never got a BR until 2 minutes AFTER the fight.
He was still mad at me after the Restore quest.
Another involving Tombs and the fact I'm gay was this guy, who thought I was a very good puller and a good guy, who was glad he found someone in his area (we were both from Montreal, French-speaking guys) decided he didn't like me anymore after finding out I was gay. Called me and my team a bunch of names before rage-quitting.
And another guy who raged at me like this (not because I was gay, but quitting and insulting my whole team) was a guy who didn't even know how to heel his pet. I called him a noob out of utter annoyance, and he yelled at the whole team for being PvE noobs before I called him an immature ******, making him ragequit. He PMed me 2 minutes after, saying that "noob calling was immature" and that my friends were stupid... I reminded him he also had called us "noobs".
... Gimme a couple hours, I'll remember more lol.

One TA group getting pissed at another in TA AD1. This erupted into the entire district spamming racist insults at each other. I laughed at how fast it escalated.
It was started by one guy telling another guy to "stop being a noob" because he was making some ridiculous request while looking for people to join his TA group. This in turn caused the members of that guys group to spam racist insults back. Pretty soon nearly everyone in the entire district joined in.
A lead warrior from (you know who you are) Team Chaos Theory [hent] raged at me in pm for like an hour after I killed him like 3 times in RA by linebacking. The rest of his team had block stances so I decided to blow him up. This of course ended up in him calling me a noob who doesn't know how to play the game because he felt I shouldn't have been attacking him =/. I owned him so hard that I would have been pissed too if I was on the receiving end of that beatdown.

Does everyone remember when sliver dye was worth 600-700g?? I was in pre and i saw someone selling a sliver dye for like 10g, and me trying to be honest pmed the person and told them they could get sooo much more for it, like around 600-700g, and they said something along these lines

I had a couple silver dyes for about that price quite a while back (maybe even more), like 3 or 4. I saw someone buying them and they asked at what price I was selling them... I think it was like 1k each (let's assume it was, for mathematical purposes). All I know is that it was cheaper than trader for sure.

Kusandaa, just out of curiosity, how does the subject of you being gay come up while in a group? I'm not trying to say you should hide it of course, I'd just find it more prudent to keep stuff like that under wraps in a PUG. It's like if I were to start talking politics in every PUG; I know that eventually someone's going to react negatively. That's probably a bad comparison, but it's the best I can think of at 3am.

Ah i remember the Kaineng City run. There was some guy who did the run for 500g once and I spammed "The road to Kaineng has no mobs and can be done by anyone." Of course the usual STFU came up but I didn't care. If i can do it with a lvl 3 paragon (i think it was) then anyone can. The guy then just left to another district and i tailed him hehe. He's actually still on my ignore list

I've seen many hilarious rants, but only got a screenshot of one of them. It was while playing FA, on the Kurzick side. One time, we were doing very badly and seemed to be on the verge of defeat fairly early on, and a paragon on our team totally flipped. He starts raging at the monk and rits for not healing good enough. I was on my rit at the time but wasn't set up for healing, except for a few skills I normally used as self heals... but I was trying my best to keep gunther alive whenever the monk died. After many very close calls and this paragon's nonstop ranting about how we all suck... we won.
The screenshot itself sucks though. The writing's tiny because I was playing on a very small window (computer was running badly). It's been mangled in Paint a few times (I don't have any other programs). And I have the chat filter on because it amuses me for some odd reason.

hehe i can just imagine what the kurz were saying in thier team chat on the day i sat under the bridge bonding every luxon that passed above me while they battled for the rez shrine. took them till the end of the game to finaly send more than one person to gank me down there.
also in ab i've had people rage at me for trapping.. i kinda trapped the ssnot out of one of the portals and then had a sin step on all the traps, me dshot his heal and then him die from degen. then 30 seconds later, i did the same thing to him again. he got mad.

My brother wanted a run to Droks a while back and asked me if I would run him. I hadn't ran in ages and didn't want to try and fail several times so I decided to pay 2k for a runner too so I could "see how a pro did it" these days. Wow. We got into a group of "dual wammos"...yes I know, alarm bells were ringing. So we set off. I stuck on my running build anyway (Dervish/Assassin) and headed off with them. The Dual Wammos died shortly after the tunnel with the Avicara in.
While they were lying there dead they decided to turn Caps Lock on the make themselves sound scarier... "OMFG NUB DERVISH Y U RUN??" "OMFG DERVISH U GOT US KILLED" "OMFG NUB DERVISH RUNNER!!". My brother politely, and calmly pointed out to them that if I was such a "nub", why did I manage to get almost all the way down Lornar's Pass when they failed at almost the start.
Just before I went through the portal the two runners ragequit. I took my brother and the remaining runnees down to Droks for free.
Moral of the Story? Wammos are "Pro".

But I remember this one time, in RA. Well I was trying out my initial Backbreaker build, and I guess people (especially casters) don't like their 4 seconds on the ground. Because it seems that this one guy in RA HATED ME, I was insulted with a massive array of insults ranging from religious to racist to stuff in foreign languages. And all because this one fellow claimed I was a "noob war" for using Backbreaker because "its not meant for pvp". After the RA match (and after I had laid him out flat, easily mind you), we went on to the next one. I get a PM from (guess who) the same fellow who I had tried to ignore the entire time he was ranting at me. Claiming I sucked and that "primeval is for nubs" and that I "have no life" because I have a destroyer weapon...
However the above story is not as bad as the one that happened much earlier than that. I was playing on my PvP Ritualist, and have a good time. The group was good, everyone was coordinated and knew what they were doing. Then, the dreaded kill count RA match, we lost HORRIBLY. Some person, I don't remember who exactly, in party chat told me that I "sucked" and "need to uninstall." I tell him it's only a game and he needs to calm down. A few seconds later he tells me that "you need to **** my ****". I put him on ignore and thought no more of him. I went on and rejoined RA, in the middle of this match I get a PM from someone who's name I don't recognize, and I did not think it would be the same person. I ask "Yes, sure what do you need?". Some guy who'd just got into LaZy(he changed guilds sometime in the middle of the argument) started talking crap to people after I mentioned LaZy in a discussion about quantity vs. quality. Funniest to me was the ranger that called me a "noob thumbsucker" after I accused him of leeching in our mission.
He never moved off the spawn portal except to run to the first mob and die after we'd moved on yet he continually criticized our performances. I told him off and said at least we were fighting our way thu which was more than he was doing.
I just thought it was hilarious that "thumbsucker" was the worst insult for me that he could come up with. Must have been 8 years old.
He never moved off the spawn portal except to run to the first mob and die after we'd moved on yet he continually criticized our performances. I told him off and said at least we were fighting our way thu which was more than he was doing.
I just thought it was hilarious that "thumbsucker" was the worst insult for me that he could come up with. Must have been 8 years old.
