I don't quite believe.
The only chance for a weapon that should drop inscribable to drop without the insc slot is when the weapon has a "of Deathbane" suffix mod (I haven't ever seen another type mobslaying mod on an inscribable weap.). I've seen plenty of drops like that, including Z and HoH chest drops, they were always "of Deathbane".

ive personally seen hoh drops without inscription slots drop. i know this guy named ryan whose gotten a stygian last year without such a mod.

Um, to keep with the posts the best things I've ever gotten from the Zaishen chest were Elite Ele Tomes. The golds I get are typically really high req or just some crappy offhand. I usually just merch them.

I wish I could turn my stacks of tournament tokens into Zaishen keys

That's what I was doing with my faction until the chest. Can't even give those tokens away, much less sell them...

Req 9 Tactics Amethyst Aegis i was pleased when i went on PC

i got ss of me wielding it but no ss of it popping from chest. Plus my SS is on dif comp >< so far i like the Zaishen Chest, make profit if you dont buy them, Faction FTW.

you have a one in a billion chance of getting a everlasting beetlejuice tonic from the chest but that doesnt necessarily mean u need 1billion keys you just need to wear clothes made out four leaf clovers, have a horseshoe around your neck, and pray to god. :P

Over 100 keys in 1 trip, had friends help me pick up everything. Two words. EPIC FAIL. Since then I have opened the chest at least 100 more times to GET NOTHING worth more than 10k, mostly consumables and other non rare CRAP. I Did 75 coffers last night and got nothing but a few gems and a ton of lb scrolls/elixors. I am no longer wasting money on keys/coffers. I could buy out anything I want for as much as I have spent trying to have fun! As to the guy who said GW sells gold, you hit that nail on the head! SS below are of the same run of 100 keys, where I picked up stuff and gave it to guildies when I was full.

ya agree... my q9 styg reaver had no inscription slot and came with 20% deathbane , so ahve many of my other non-insc weps

Really people this is all about a lottery scratch off. Except you at least get something every time. As for the people that wah-mbulance about not getting an Eternal Blade every key, get over it. In the end you are gambling, it is a chance you will get these things, nothing is guaranteed.

And "100" is hardly a large number of keys to expect to get a super duper rare item. The rate everlasting stuff drops, it is like a 1 in a million shot.

And everlasting tonics are NOT customized.

Finally got my first 9 requirement the other day after hundreds of keys. It was a pair of celestial daggers, too bad I had gotten a Req 9 15^60 celestial daggers about a month ago from farming vermin. Only difference is the Celestials from the Z-Chest are inscribable. Now which one should I put up for sale?
