Their is still only one known candy corn tonic and only a handful of beatles from the z chest. Their are 50+ of these new pahntasmal ones over the weekend. Phantasmol tonics are not that rarebut they are only around for a month so their price will prob spike when the month is over.

A smart person will pick up one of these new tonics for cheap, then hold onto it for a while.

If they recycle the tonics you haven't lost much, if they don't you can make a profit reselling.

People are selling off their beetle tonics just in case they start dropping.

I got a Phantasmal yesterday, sold it off quickly due to the amount that have dropped in a short time. I only bought 7 keys, dropped on my 5th so I was content with the money I got from selling it (130e btw). It's highly likely that individual tonics will increase in price, but only if a person is really insistent in getting that certain monster one... Besides they would keep 'better looking' creatures for later, surely.

Yeah ~100 tonics or so are ingame atm, so seen the times the chest was opened since the introduction of the title, I think prices will settle down and go up a again once supply decreases again .

Supply won't decrease, it will just stay same as it will be at the end of month - they're everlasting, so they'll stay at same number 4ever

but price will drop more imo, since there are more and more of them out daily+

also opened chest 3 more times - 3x flask ~_~

Supply = Tonics that are for sale.
Over time less will be for sale, so the supply will decrease.

But agreed on price. It will fall the next weeks, but then... who knows. Pretty much depends on how "good" the next tonics are.

Wait, little mental note, did Anet say they were only dropping this month, or continued dropping from now on? Because if they stop dropping when another tonic pops out next month, these things might actually be rare after all

The first time i bought keys (10 for 45k), and the drops were:
3 firewater
4 creme
1 necro tome normal
2 really crappy golds

I wont buy keys anymore -.-

That and when the new ones come out, there will only be a select few people seeking the older ones. You probably have to wait several months or so before their price will start to climb.

I relly doubt these will stay at the price they're at atm or even go up, sure they stop dropping at the end of the month but then you'll have a new/maybe better tonic available.

Stop focussing on the fact that there will only be 100 evelasting phantasmal tonics forever (or whatever the number ends up being). The point is that there will be 100 more 'everlasting tonics of some sort' every month. 100 after this month, 200 after the next, etc. Pretty soon having an everlasting tonic won't be such a big deal.

Most people will want an everlasting tonic ... most will not care too mcuh which one they get. So as the months advace and the 'uniqueness' of having an everlasting tonic diminishes, so will the price.

Nah dont get me wrong I got atm 200kish in storage, I got 3 of my pve chars perfectly equipped for GvG, So im not really poor, but I wasnt getting any richer by playing pvp either, UP TO NOW, and gvg yields more Faction than HA and definitely more then RA lol

gvg doesnt yield more factions than ha does, but gvg can gets rp and acquire more keys thru that than ha'ers

From my 10 keys from Xunlai, I decided to risk the 50k since I have plenty. Ended up with 3 crap golds, 6 Cremes/FW, and a r11 Draconic Aegis :-D.

They didn't say this, but there are 12 of them announced, one for every month! So it stands to reason that this might be the case!
The next question might be: do they recycle them for next year or not?
